Tico was on a break but we asked her where the gas station was. She was extremely kind and answered all our questions. Comment: It’s a BIG store with lots of stuff! The deli area is well worth the visit. I chuckled at the huge amount and variety of beer and wine in the store. People must do a lot of partying at the beach. We found everything we needed to stock our condo. We eat in for breakfast and lunch because with 9 adults and 4 kids it’s easier to eat in. Store is convenient and has plenty of parking

Comment: Harris Teeter is a great store! I only wish that we had one in the city of Jacksonville. I drive 45 minutes each way just to go up to their pharmacy to pick up medication because it is half the price of any other local pharmacy. The store is big, clean, has a great prepared food area, the people are terrific and it is always a joy to shop there. I wish they would build one in Jacksonville.

Comment: I really like going here every few months for items I cant get elsewhere and as a change of pace. The only suggestion I would have is to break up the aisles or provide some sort of seating. They are very long and difficult for frail people to navigate them without being able to sit for a little rest.

Comment: First impression very clean upscale. At about 7 pm the food on hot bar was looking pitiful and appeared not safe to eat. They should have put away as it looked like it was likely nice selection of hot foods. We would have enjoyed after traveling all afternoon to hotel but all the entrees and sides were so dried shriveled hard! Store had a confusing layout without produce and fruits upon entry. Looked as if store doing a reset as overflowing carts of product being moved by staff all over. Cashier was very helpful and friendly!! He told me that this is the only Harris Teeter store in Florida! Took forever to find items needed with a very confusing layout. Did appreciate the organic gluten sensitive items available. Prices are ok if you use your Kroger or HT number/phone number. Overall a very useful store to come across on an island. Def try the hot food bar or pizza earlier in evening! The Starbucks cafe is a plus!

Publix is okay but we found the prices for those specific things we like to be much higher than we anticipated.My wife heard of Harris Teeter so we decided to give it a try.Walking in your overwhelmed with the selection in every department! The butcher area was impressive with the selection of Wagyu beef and the price was reasonable!The seafood department was the same, a wide selection with reasonable prices!The fruits and vegetables offered appeared to be fresh and also reasonably priced.My wife, who loves to shop in every aisle (which I refuse to do) found products she loves but hadn’t seen in a long time!They have a lot of BOGOs and the prices for everything else is very reasonable.The entire store is beautifully arranged with a hot buffet and every Thursday the offer a prime rib dinner for $15 and it’s delicious!They offer other meals during the week. It I haven’t had any of those yet.Check out is painless with self checkout offered.They have a gas station near the market and if you join the shoppers club they give you 10 cents off for every $100 you spend. It didn’t take me long to earn 1,000 points!This is our go-to market now and finding it was a very nice surprise!

I went to customer service counter to sign up for one and found out that they honored the Kroger Plus card I had in Ohio. So I got the sale price and all the fuel points. We will go again.

Comment: To me ... better than Whole Foods. They have everything. Once asked for something they did not have...they got it for me! LIkely slightly higher prices but selection and staff is excellent. On thursday from noon to sold out is Prime Rib day ... $14.99 per serving and sufficient food for two. They have a Starbucks and hot tables self service for breakfast & dinner too. Superb retailer.

Comment: The store is very well organized, extremely clean and the staff and personnel are so professional and caring. They go out of their way to ascertain something that you cannot find. Love their salad bar, pizza Mondays and I did love their prime rib Thursdays except now the price went up five dollars higher than it was before. Certainly do miss Sunday morning salmon omelettes. Their wine selection is excellent and their meats especially their steaks and seafood are just fantastic!! I love their butchers and also their bakers because it’s like turning back the clock going into the 50s when you were going to the butcher shop or the bakery and order something special. Harris Teeter‘s can’t be beat😍😍 just love those guys😊😊😊❤️

I didnt like one of the employees walking away from helping me today when I asked for help. Im a disabled (physically) veteran and the product was on top shelf so I had to climb up the shelves to get my product. Was scared that I would fall. Freezer department is where it happened. They have a pretty nice salad bar too. The deli, bakery, seafood and meat areas were pretty nice. They had some of the thickest steaks Ive ever seen. The store was very clean and organized as well. The prices are a little higher than what Im used to and its located about 45 minutes from my house. If it wasnt for that I would still come every so often.

I took a star away for their performance on checkouts. Just not enough lines open. I have seen ten or more cart backups with only two lines open which is unacceptable to most shoppers. Publix is far better in getting customers out of their store.

And the senic route up Heckscher Dr is always worth it! I only shop organic, non-GMO and gluten-free. They have such an excellent selection of these items, too. The store is also clean and well-decorated. Associates/employees are all friendly as well. Comment: I normally enjoy shopping at Harris Teeter, it’s been my go to store on the island for the last six years. Good selection and good service. Today however I was really confused at self check out. I normally do self check out because for me it’s easier and I get through quickly and generally if there’s a problem the staff is very helpful. This time it wa a bit confusing and annoying. The screen was telling me that I had to bag my last item which I had done, and it said to call the attention for help which I did. The attendant came over and basically told me the screen would go away on its own and there was nothing she could do. What? If she had said there’s a glitch I would’ve understood But if the screen says called the attendant that’s what I’m going to do.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the prices in some areas beat those of discount stores. Additionally, there is a wide variety of items from all over the world. If you like the same thing every day then this place isnt for you. If you like to try new things and venture out of comfort then this is your jam. All in all a favorable experience and recommended for the occasional venture. Good work here. Docked one star because the store is a bit small and there is only on in the state. Comment: I like Harris Teeter. I got my VIC card which provides extra savings something you need because they are a wee bit more pricey than other markets in the area. However the store is clean and well stocked. The parking lot has ample parking. They have a huge daily buffet which has a lot of tasty food and prime rib night (to die for) on Thursdays! Get there early on Prime rib night because there is a line. They have a Starbucks in the front corner of the store. Produce and meats are always fresh. I tried the pizza tonight and have to admit I was sorta disappointed; who puts apricot jam on a Hawiian pizza? I was able to order it online and p/u at my requested time, which I thought was fabulous. Staff is always friendly and helpful, cant say enough about that. They have a shopping service now where you place your order online and they load your groceries into your car at the front of the store! If I could do a half star I would have given them a 4.5 star rating.

Comment: On Amelia Island for a event and made my way to this grocery store for a Starbucks beverage .. upon walking in, we saw the prepared foods section and decided to stay for dinner .. there was a fundraiser going on for Feed The Homeless where you can get a Prime Rib dinner with potatoes and vegetables .. the gentleman who was there was very friendly and told us about the fundraiser and convinced me to get the dinner .. the prime rib was a very large cut and perfectly cooked rivaling fancy steakhouses in Atlanta .. we also got pizza and sushi .. if you have never tried their prepared foods, you will not be disappointed.

Comment: Just finishing up a major remodel, the store is bright and shiny - really a pleasure to shop in. A brand new buffet is being set up - salad bar is up and running, hot foods look to be up very soon.

Comment: It is my store to go to. Living off the island, I combine grocery trip with beach time or simple joy of a drive through my favorite place, Amelia Island. The store is stocked well, provides great sales and with my perimeter style shopping, I walk out with great savings. The staff is always professional, number of open cashier stations is mostly adequate to demand (no, there are never enough registers to accommodate number of customers during or around holidays :)).

Comment: The staff is helpful and friendly. The store is clean and well stocked with the largest variety of items.when you register your email address through customer service they send special saving opportunities each week.their parking lot has lots if beautiful shady oak trees.I always loved Harris teeter since the 1980s when I lived in Charlotte NC where they are from.

Comment: Recently renovated/expanded location (as of this review 08/10/17). Starbucks cafe located inside, excellent deli and seafood departments. Superb customer service. The staff is always helpful and accommodating.

Comment: Never an issue parking, and the staff is overly helpful. Fresh meat, fresh seafood, fresh produce. Fantastic wine and beer section! On busy holidays it can be difficult to get around all of the other patrons in the store, but thats not attributable to Harris Teeter, its patrons who are blocking aisles and meandering.

Comment: Even though they are going through massive remodeling staff is very attentive and pleasant. Great shopping experience. Kinda pricey but Vic Card helps. Cherrors $2.99 lb!! Ill go broke! Lol

Comment: They had a reserved parking place for Veterans. Was impressed with that. Prices good. Best beer prices in town.

Comment: Excellent delicious freah made to order subs and great prices and daily lunch specials. Most expensive grocery store and can never ever find a member of staff when needed or at customer service desk.Also if ypu sign up for a card once you buy do many subs you get ne free also always fresh crisp salads to go

Comment: Higher prices than a larger commercial chain like Publix, but great quality and variety on items carried. It is rare to not find what I need, and wine selection is above average for a grocery. Very convenient location. Excellent staff and cleanliness.
