Comment: I dont have enough good things to say about this local florist. My girlfriend needed emergency gall bladder surgery and Im out of state on active duty, so couldnt be home for her. I wanted to send her a good set of flowers fast but was worried about finding a quality florist. I placed the order for this bouquet the night after surgery, and they arrived at her doorstep the very next day as stated. The bouquet itself was a spitting image of the product picture. We were both blown away. Please consider this local florist if youre in Gainesville and want high quality flowers fast, theyre worth the price.

Comment: I ordered a big bouquet online from Los Angeles for my mothers birthday, the California Fields with the sunflowers and bluebells. They arrived exactly like the picture! (with some of the flowers yet to bloom) My mom and sister were extremely happy and impressed, said they were absolutely stunning and beautiful and have been sending me pictures as the bouquet has opened up to full color. The first delivery attempt failed because my mom was sleeping in, but I called the florist and gave them a timeframe for when I knew she would be awake and at home, and they delivered! Couldnt be happier with the service and selection! Its surprisingly hard finding beautiful arrangements in colors aside from pink/red/white and flowers that are not roses. Ill definitely order from here again for the next occasion! Thank you so much!!!

Despite my limited budget, Joan used her expertise to help me make the most of it and I had beautiful floral arrangements on my wedding day. He is 4 hours away from all his friends and family and we happened to be in Gainesville for an appointment for our son and I called them to see if we can have an arrangement sent over to the hospital for our friend since we cannot visit him due to COVID. They went above and beyond to help find out what if anything they could deliver to him, and was very nice and professional! They were able to get us a gourmet fruit basket ready to go and made sure I was ok with everything before charging my card!! Very impressed with how great they were!! Comment: Beautiful florals for my wedding! I looked at a number of florists for my wedding, and Pranges came highly recommended from my venue. Joan kept me calm during the the wedding planning process and was very flexible when I decided to add or change things later. She was able to work SO well with our small budget and the arrangements came out so beautifully! I knew nothing about flowers but she was able to gather whatever ideas I had and made it better than I could’ve imagined! She even gave us awesome ideas for our reception decorations that saved us some cash. The day of she delivered all of the flowers on time and they were perfect! I cannot recommend them enough! She did not disappoint for our COVID-revised wedding, i.e. from a large church venue with 75+ people to a small (21 guests) backyard ceremony and reception. Joan was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting and advising us in selecting every floral aspect of the wedding. She had many general wedding ideas that helped as well. Comment: I am so impressed with Prange’s. I somewhat randomly selected a florist when I was looking to send flowers to a relative in Gainesville. I do not live in FL. I found Prange’s to have a nice selection and value so I placed an order for a live plant. Normally, this would be the end of my story, but I received a call letting me know that it was too warm and late in the season for the plant I had selected to thrive and that the plants just weren’t as pretty as they were earlier in the season. I was provided several options for plants and cut flowers, based on what was currently available and particularly beautiful locally.My aunt just contacted me raving about the arrangement that was delivered. It looks much more expensive than what I budgeted and spent, and is filled with beautiful flowers that are meaningful to my family and this occasion. She shared a photo and the flowers are so much more than I anticipated. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Prange’s.If you are looking for an excellent florist (with flat out amazing customer service) in the Gainesville area, you can’t do better than Prange’s Plantscapes.

She also already knew our venue (Sweetwater Branch Inn) which made it easier and smoother for us. She did an amazing job choosing flowers for the season. Comment: Recently had my wedding florist flake out on me so I decided I would just make my own bouquets and arrangements. But I wanted to practice ahead of time and make sure I wasnt in over my head. Called Pranges before arriving to see if they had any spare branches of greenery and got really lucky that they had some on short notice from a few of weddings they were preparing for this weekend. When I showed up they offered me a good sized bunch of 3 different varieties for a really cheap price and even gave me some tips and pointers on how to do the arrangements. The lady I worked with was so pleasant and willing to help. And the greenery was in perfect condition. My wedding isnt in Gainesville (just live up here for school), but I wish it was because I would have hired them instead in a heartbeat based on their service.

Comment: Prange is the busy husbands best friend. Seriously. I work in midtown and for almost a year now Ive been on a monthly service with Pranges for flowers for the wife and daughters. They are incredibly thoughtful and call each month to ensure that I dont want to move my pickup date up or down. Mothers day this year was May 13th, two days earlier than my usual pickup day and they reached out to ask if I wanted this months arrangement ready for the Friday before Mothers day...heck yeah I did!Most months I need a pickup adjustment due to travel schedules or some other event so I very much appreciate their outreach and consideration of my schedule. And, the arrangements are so much fresher than what youll get from many other stores. The flowers last for weeks sometimes and we recently had a situation where we received flowers from another florist at roughly the same time as our monthly Prange bouquet - the other flowers were falling apart a week before Pranges arrangement did!

She was able to take a few ideas from my daughter and transform them into gorgeous floral displays and table centerpieces that made the whole venue a beautiful and romantic setting . It was extremely windy that day and Joan went out of her way, using her engineering knowledge, to skillfully secure the altar trellis as well as the the attached floral decorations to provide the perfect scenery for the outdoor ceremony. The roses were so fresh! We were able to enjoy them for at least 2 weeks after the wedding!

Comment: So the owner of this shop Joanne(sp?) is an absolute doll. My grandmother recently had a stroke and got transferred to Shands on the Friday before Mothers Day. My local florist from Massachusetts said that it would be a very difficult task to have ANYONE in Florida deliver on such short notice. I saw the reviews for Pranges and gave them a call. Joanne was kind and compassionate and understood why I needed these flowers to get there in a rush. She not only accommodated my request but made me smile during one of the most difficult times. I was a bit distraught because I live in MN and couldnt be there to take care of her and give her the hugs and MOM love that I wanted to. The owner Joan answered the phone and even though she was with a client, she took the time to understand what I was looking for and make sure that the bouquet and Teddy Bear (hug) were just right, and would be delivered the same day without breaking the bank. Joan was empathetic and so kind and understanding- even shared some ideas about my daughters condition. I left the call feeling so much better and with the confidence that even though I couldnt be there in person, that my daughter would feel a bit comforted and loved from afar.They had difficulty delivering because my daughter lives in a secure apartment complex so also took the extra step to notify me that the flowers had been delivered to the office.I received a very sweet text from my daughter later that day and a pic- the flowers were very sweet and the big fluffy matching pink teddy bear was perfect!I will definitely be saving their contact info and using them again!! Comment: After interviewing three local florists, my wife and I had no question that Joan was for us, and we could not be happier with what she did for us. She was the first florist we talked to who LISTENED to our preferences and then gave us her input of what she thought would look best based on our likes and dislikes. In addition, we really valued her TRANSPARENCY and HONESTY when planning our wedding flowers - things like Im not sure whether we can get peonies or anemones at that time of year, and I will try to get them for you, but please be prepared, Instead of doing this for your centerpieces, why dont we save some money to keep you in budget by trying this?. After we booked - almost a year before the wedding - she consistently made herself AVAILABLE to meet with us to stay on the same page, and, unlike other venders we dealt with, was always PROMPT to return calls or emails. She was also very DILIGENT to make things work out for is - she contacted several farms and wholesalers in order to pull the miracle of getting peonies for a December wedding, because she knew that my wife wanted them so much. Of course, while we valued friendliness and professionalism, the finished product is the most important part - of this, we cant speak highly enough about Pranges. Everything - the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, flowers for the cake - was STUNNING She was able to take our preferences and create a product that went beyond what we wanted, while still staying within our budget. By listening to our preferences and getting a feel for the other elements like cake and dress and linens, she was able to make flower arrangements that enhanced the overall theme of the wedding rather than just looking pretty. We really cannot overstate how much we loved having Joan as our florist.

Comment: I read the 3 reviews below and was quite encouraged. I liked gorgeous, original and attention to the tiniest details and will exceed your floral expectation and not break the bank. So I called to have a bouquet of flowers delivered to my daughter for her birthday. On Friday I spoke to the owner, Joan to order them. We talked type of flowers and the kind of message I wanted to convey which was a floral display that says, You are Valuable! We also talked price range which convinced me that the floral display would communicate that and be very impressive. Then Monday arrived. I called my daughter to see if the flowers arrived. She said, oh, yes, they had. She had forgotten to mention them to me and thank you very much. So I said send me a picture. She did. I was not so impressed. While a nice selection of cut flowers and variety of kind, there was no Wow! So I called Joan and asked to clarify the cost of the flowers. Yes, it was the price she had indicated on the phone, high end. So, I indicated that I was not happy then with this floral selection. I told her that having read these online three reviews I was hoping for more of the gorgeous, original vs nice, beautiful, routine. She said she thought what she provided was what I had wanted but now understood differently and could swap it out for something else. I dont speak floral and cant remember exactly her words but it sounded much better. So I said yes, I would appreciate a swap. So I called my daughter to tell her that the florist would be delivering something else and taking that back and to just not do anything with it in the meantime but keep it safe. The florist did come and deliver a spectacular and beautiful original and gorgeous floral display with a Japanese flair with bird of paradise and with roses and sunflowers in a basket instead of a vase. A floral display that says, You are valuable! Anyway, now it truly is an original spectacular floral arrangement that I was hoping for in the first place. So I give this place 5 stars for being professional and getting it right. If I could figure out how I would put the picture of the flowers here but Im not that computer savvy.
