Comment: My favorite Publix since the one at Briar Bay closed for construction. This Publix has a large wine selection and a good ethnic food section. Always clean and well stocked. Seems all Publix stores are going to self-checkout. Thats unfortunate since these are jobs for the very young or old or special needs community.

Comment: This was my first experience of the Publix slogan of Where Shopping is a Pleasure Back in 1981. US1 at SW 146 St (approx) in Miami. I lived next to it at Hidden Garden apartments.I stood inside at the entrance, amazed! Didnt remember it so big. It seemed extremely clean, organized and fully stocked as I looked down the isles. It must have been renovated since 81. Ive been to 20+ Publix stores in Florida, all run with excellence! From cleanliness to product display and friendly service.Its funny, but as a Cabbie, I always run to the nearest Publix for a clean, paper-soap stocked restroom, too!Ill never forget thinking Publix. Is this a state-run grocery store?, the first time I saw the name. Actually, not! Its one of the best 100 privately-held-companies in America, last I saw a financial, business magazine.I should get paid for such an unsolicited review as this!!!

Comment: We were so impressed with the inventory! Especially the ethnic foods aisle! They have foods from South America, Central America, Germany, Britain, India, and beyond! Also, the shelves were very well maintained. Everything appeared to be in stock- no big gaps on the shelves. It was shockingly perfect in that way! The floors, shelves - everything looked clean. And the employees were friendly too. So glad this Publix is here!

Comment: I recently visited this Publix in Palmetto Bay and I had to place a google review. I stopped in to purchase chicken tenders and Maria in customer service was phenomenal. I purchased a lot of chicken tenders and she didn’t charge me for the chicken tender sauces as a courtesy. I was a little disappointed with the quality of chicken tenders being that when I brought them for a social gathering, they were not crispy, pale in color and extremely soggy. But the customer service is really outstanding and I had to acknowledge the Store Manager about their amazing staff.

HOWEVER -Watch the pricing; they are bad about displaying items that are not part of the sale price shown.UPDATE: I was asked to update but unfortunately they are still doing the bait and switch. A week ago my husband saw a beautiful display of BOGO prosecco. They each rang up for $18. Even the manager didnt know about a BOGO for any prosecco in their store. Manager did the right thing, but how many other customers are being deceived on a regular basis? We still shop there but are very watchful.

Comment: This store is much more organized and has much nicer employees than the Publix on US1 and Eureka (184th). The deli is great with fulfilling online Instacart orders on time. The cashiers are much friendlier here. No one has an attitude here, nearly all associates have helped me in a friendly manner. Grocery shopping is nicer here too. Heck, I wouldn’t have existed if it weren’t for this store! Only thing: it’s hectic navigating through this store when it’s extremely busy. But that’s the “White House”!

The only inconvenience I have is that they do move around their products once in awhile, they need to have product category signs on BOTH sides of the isle so the customers have less chance to miss it and having to go back and forth to find the product. Right now in some of the isles have the sign only on one end of the isle, not both.

The restaurant is gone, but the actual store layout is a little different from most other Publix in the area. Comment: I love this Publix and have been going there for 23 years. I especially love being greeted by one of the bag boys named Charles. He always has a smile on his face (now with Covid masks I see his eyes twinkle) and he always asks me how my day is. Some days he is concerned that he hasnt seen me in a while and asks if Im ok. I love the fact that Publix has young men and women like Charles working there. They really love their jobs and they bring so much happiness to our world right now with all their true kindness. We all are very lucky to have people likeCharles in our lives and he puts a smile on my face always. Thank you for being you Charles.

Comment: I was sitting in my car waiting for my nephew and niece that went into cvs. While sitting there I noticed a bag boy from Publix named Rafael that noticed a elderly woman exiting her vehicle struggling a bit. He walked up to extend his arm to help her. He had her hold on to the shopping cart he was planning on returning inside. He went inside to get a electric shopping cart and returned to the elderly woman. He even took his time to explain to her how to work it. If that is the example of employee this Publix has, I feel this speaks highly of this location. That is what I call incredible customer service and initiative.

Comment: I think the management is very good here and their jobs must be so hard. I like the parking and the light that helps you get out of it. Also super convenient to have the drugstore right there. The butchers are also great and have helped me get things like cows feet and heart, not something that every publix carries. I have never had to wait too long to get checked out so thats nice too.

It has a great variety of items as well as nice big aisles but most importantly-the people who work there are fantastic! As per most publix standard, prices arent as low as Trader Joes and the organic/gluten free selection will leave you almost completely satisfied. Staff politely trained and establishment is clean. Parking is busy but its to be expected after a major crisis.
