My favorite cashier is Susan; she is so nice, knowledgeable of the store layout, and attentive to her customers. Groceries overall are more expensive than other stores, but they have good BOGOs at times and there are things they carry that cant be found at an Aldi or Walmart (such as fresh bean sprouts). Publix ice creams are also excellent with a huge variety of flavors.

Comment: My cashier and bagger were so fantastic that I made sure the assistant manager knew how well they were taking care of their customers! Cashier looked up a product that I was looking for and let me know it was no longer carried. (Anyone else ever get a craving for Wheat Nuts out of the blue?) The bagger was an EXPERT in sorting and bagging in the paper bags. Cold stuff together, strong wall of boxes for support, and each bag was a very manageable weight for me as an older woman. Excellent experience!!!

Comment: Ive found the customer service [especially, but not solely, the Customer Service desk] to be outstanding ... professional but by no means stand-offish ... courteous, friendly and always helpful. They all make grocery shopping pleasant and a delight. There is normally never much of a wait time when checking out, and even when there are people ahead of you the check-out staff are fast and efficient while still making you feel like you may be shopping at a family-run store rather than a mega-chain. Id recommend this branch to anyone moving into the area or just passing through looking for a place to pick up some groceries.

Comment: I live across the street from Casselberry Commons Publix. This store on Aloma is so much better and more enjoyable to shop at. First, the employees on Aloma actually seemed pleased to help with finding items, making subs and carryout service. Also this store very rarely is out of anything. Casselberry Commons Publix is usually out of several B1g1 items. Plus the employees often make it seem like I am a bother when I want a sub or other deli items. They ignore me and just continue on with conversation as if I wasnt there. 👏 to the staff at Aloma for making that store so pleasant to shop at and also so well kept up. The pride shows and it makes me almost always drive the 3 extra miles to shop at Aloma and skip the rudeness I often encounter at Casselberry Publix.

By the time I got home, there was a voice message from my Aunt (last person I had spoken with on my cell phone) telling me Publix had my phone and I could come get it before the store closed. Comment: I just had an amazing experience there this morning with an incredible employee named Jocelyn, who works there at Publix. My mother lives in Winter Park and is 80 years old and not supposed to be going to public places in order to stay safe from the virus. She needed groceries and we couldnt find anyone, even a service (they were backed up for days) to do it. I called Publix to ask for advice and the sweetest person (Jocelyn) answered the phone and said she would do it for her! So, my mom drove up to Publix, Jocelyn met her at her car and got her list, and then did all the shopping for her and brought it out to her car. Amazing! Really made me feel good that there are nice people like that in the world. She should be commended for going above and beoynd with customer service. God bless you, Jocelyn, and thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Comment: I love this Publix, its my neighborhood Publix.Some of their prices are a little steep but every week there are different BOGO items. Once a month, Thursday through Sunday they have $50.00 gas cards for $40 for every $50 you spend on groceries! Thats a 20% savings on gas. The butcher will cut you whatever is not in the case or you need a specific thickness or size. Deli also makes awesome subs. Enjoy!

The Bakery Departmen is my favorite...for fresh bread, cakes and pies. As a Home Baker. I appreciate a place that can meet my standars! Comment: What can I say about Publix that I can’t say everyday? The employees are kind and helpful, and there’s plenty of smiles to go around. Today my cashier and bagger were Amber and Freeman, and they did a wonderful job of making me feel welcomed in my neighborhood Publix. I find that the inviting atmosphere isn’t just created toward the end of my shopping experience when I’m checking out- it is also enriched by folks at the guest service counter when I walk in, and by the bakery, meat aisle, and other places with specialized staff. I value the courtesy of the staff not because I feel that I am entitled to it, but because it lets me know they are happy. I am most comfortable at Publix because I know the staff is treated better than in other grocers.
