I was starting to give up on Publix until I discovered this store. Its immaculately clean and well stocked. The parking lot is tricky. If you live in the area this is the better location to shop, in my imho.

Comment: This had been my nearest, local Publix for the last two years. Oddly enough, there are 3 within 2 miles of my house so Ive got lots of choices!This location is bright, clean and well-maintained. The staff, by and large, are really friendly and helpful and that goes for the curbside service when I do use it. Also, Ive had excellent experiences with the folks who work at the pharmacy.However, I have a few reasons I gave the location 4, instead of 5, stars.First, the selection and quality of the fruits and vegetables is adequate but not outstanding. Im sure it works for most people, but I prepare foods from many different cultures and I cant always find what I want.Same goes for the meat selection in the butcher shop. The quality is good, but they generally only sell cuts that are popular with stereotypical suburban folks. Even classic pork cuts like an entire pork shoulder or marbled, bone-in pork chops are hard to find. I get it, this location is selling to their regular audience who apparently buys lots of boneless pork loin chops and boneless chicken breast. It just means I need to shop elsewhere when I want to prepare certain dishes.Finally, Publix prices arent unreasonable, but they are high... And there isnt frankly too much competition in the area so you dont have much of a choice to shop elsewhere.Overall, the place is great suffice these few caveats. Happy shopping!

Clean, well-organized, always plenty of checkout staff so you aren’t waiting around right when you want to get going with freezer foods in the cart - and the same great level of customer service we’ve come to expect from Publix. They have a British Food section and a pharmacy. Something different in this Publix I noticed is the hot food in the deli dept for lunch and dinner times - laid out like Whole Foods buffet - so ready made meals like checkin wings, jasmine rice, couscous, etc., to simply take mix/match then take out.

I went for coffee and milk and came out over 100 dollars later with some super good stuff. Love their freshly cooked fried chicken, bakery pastries, shrimp plates and ALOT more.The staff, cashiers, food/deli/bakery workers, and inventory shelf preparers have always been and continue to be exceptionally personable and extremely helpful. I like shopping here. 3/25/2020 ... I purchased baked chicken wings 😋 totally seasoned and cooked to perfection ... I believe its newly offered.

Comment: Don’t get me wrong, Publix is a great supermarket. However, two Wednesdays in a row I have gone there to buy sushi. They gave you one packet of soy sauce per box. I purchased two boxes. Upon asking the sushi chef for two more packets per box, she told me no, I need to buy soy sauce if I want more. Fortunately the store manager was very reasonable. I commend Bob for taking care of the situation. The sushi chef woman is nuts.

Comment: This is the only publix I will shop at. Its super clean. Basically new. And parking is NOT a nightmare. Plus the have a salad bar, soup bar and hot food bar twice a day. And a chicken wing bar on the weekends.

Comment: Its a Brand New Publix supermarket.This store has just about everything you will ever need from a grocery store.The Bakery has fresh bread baked twice a day, Deli has Boars head meats and Cheese along with the Publix brand of high quality deli items. This store has a superior selection of domestic and imported Cheeses to pair with a nice Bottle of Wine from the stores large Wine department. Fruits and Vegetables are fresh and vary with seasonal availability.From hot food to sandwiches the Deli has you covered. Steak, Seafood, and Chicken are the highest Quality and always Fresh.Parking here is fantastic, and the bag service to your vehicle is complimentary.

Comment: This Publix is fabulous. It has only been open a few years as it came on board when they opened the Alton housing community but it does everything so well youd think theyve been opened for years and years. The shelves are clean, very well-stocked and they have a large selection of products in almost every Department. Their buy one get one free specials are over-the-top and one thing that really sets them apart from other grocery stores is if you cant find an item you are looking for they wont just tell you what Lane in, they will walk you to it.

Comment: My new 1st choice grocery store. We actually reside quite a bit closer to the Abacoa Publix which is basically a stones throw away from the new Alton Publix yet I will drive past the nearest one to shop at the Alton one almost every time. I like the store layout better and no matter what time I go there is very few other shoppers to dodge which is especially helpful during this Pandemic. Parking is plentiful and well designed for us to get in & out swiftly with yummy places surrounding the plaza if we ever feel like grabbing a bite before or after.

Comment: This store is EXCEPTIONAL in helping customers find that 1 special wierd something they need, packing your groceries for carrying up stairs or assisting loading groceries into your car. They sanitize their grocery carts before you take them from the corral in the front of the store. I enjoy all the cooks and deli help ... they are cool, friendly and you can tell they LIKE to serve the customer.

Comment: This Publix is absolutely gorgeous on the inside. So far the staff have been wonderful as well. The produce section, in particular, stands out as being very attractive as soon as you walk in the door. The parking lot isnt perfect though. Do to routing of one way lanes, its a bit awkward to leave through the main entrance since you have to scuttle around short stops to get out. Thats not enough to keep me from going though!
