Comment: New 05-05-23I had the most pleasant experience once more at this Publix supermarket in Land O’ Lakes, FL 34637. And my story started, by entering the supermarket completing my shopping and arriving to the register were everyone is always greeted with a smile, on the same is true by the person bagging your produce.Headed to my vehicle and putting my shopping away so that I can return home. I arrived home and started to gather my bags when I noticed that i did not have my backpack, which contained my drivers license, credit cards money and other personal items.I rushed back to the store hoping to find my cart in the parking lot, but it was already gone.Noticed a staff member outside and ask her if they have returned black backpack and she asked me to check at the service desk.I headed towards and politely waited for the 2 customers Infront of me and once I reached i asked if any one have found black backpack. The customer service representative informed me that yes they had a black backpack and that their Manager had it.The Manager arrived to the Customer Service desk with my backpack and returned it to me.I check to see if my credentials and credit cards were still there and confirmed that the were in.I asked the Manager to get the person that founded and he gave him a small scare. However when he got to the service desk i extended my hand in gratitude and handed him a small reward for hes honesty.This supermarket chain does not only treat their customers with the highest regards but it does it also with their employees.The best thing is that they have not felt threatened by their competitors since apparently they are there to serve the communities that they do business, till today i have not seen a single self service machine. And offer jobs to our young kids keeping them out of the streets.Many thanks to all the Management for keeping this important service to all the communities, you are molding our kids to become a tax paying individuals that will benefit their communities, since machines do not pay only take from them.Many thanks.Nollan ZevallosAs always I love their service, variety for the first time since I started shopping i Publix, I ordered the garden vegetable sup and the fried chicken as well as 2 of their best deserts they offer (lemon meringue pie & Napoleon) let me tell you the chicken was much better than the ones offered at any of the top 2 franchises. The soup was delicious and the same I could say for the lemon meringue pie which is the best in Florida & for the Napoleon it almost tasted as good as the ones I purchase when I was was a kid in South AmericaI like to continue supporting this franchise since it continue to offer the best customer service around and it support their employees having the fewer selfservice cashiers Wich means more jobs for their community

He had a charming and comedic personality and sold me on cheese and meat I had never tried before. Comment: Love conveniences to my daughters house in the Bayou. Went in to get flowers & Ballon for her 50th. I was disappointed in selection, looking for something that would last for in the house, low maintenance but didnt have unless they were in another area of the store & I wasnt looking beyond the flower section. I was in our Publix store on Gandy/Lois and the had awesome selection of balloons, store in Land O Lakes didnt have the unique selection for flowers or balloons. Also for parking as big as store is, they should have more handicap parking. This concerns me since our store on Gandy/Himes is being rebuilt & it will be huge and Im concerned about handicap parking if the size is going to be as large as they say! Otherwise Publix is my favorite place but prices are a little higher (??) than Wal-Mart. When I do groceries I order/delivery but hubby goes for price.

But, this location just has a bigger variety of everything in general because it is a bigger store. Its worth the extra 10 minutes to get here.

Shelves were well stocked for a Saturday, employees were friendly, they even opened a new checkout line for us when they saw we were in the back of a line. If it were a little closer to home, if make this my first choice Publix, but its 4 miles further than Sunlakes.

Comment: I really wanted to give this Publix 5 stars bcuz it’s clean and I usually NEVER have a bad experience here but I had a few unpleasant interactions I have realized that when some of the employees are busy and you ask a question or need assistance and even speak by saying hello they try not to make eye contact or they aren’t as friendly. I literally spoke to an employee 2times she was out front wiping the carts and I’m use to being greeted that’s what I liked about that Publix but she totally ignored me and it made my shopping experience uneasy. Those 3 separate incidents made me take my 5th star away

Comment: This is a truly wonderful grocery store. Customer service is perfect. In fact I love the custom service so much, I would work jwre myself. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Never any waiting in the checkout lanes, not even during holidays! Shelves are well stocked even during crisis situations. ( I realize some out of stocks are beyond control lately, but they leave green tags to let the customer know.) The Pharmacy is on a first name basis with me, they always get me in and out as fast as possible. The deli has some pretty good fried chicken and hot wings that should give Popeyes a run for their money. Also the soup and sandwiches are way better than the competition. Id say the prices are comparable for the most part, but I still go here because I love the customer service. Even among other Publix, this place is the best!

Friendly and helpful staff, clear signs, fresh produce, and great meat selection. Weve had their prime rib roast many times, and it is always perfect. They tend to run out of popular sale items, but gladly give you a rain check. (But not during pandemic.)

Tonight, once I walked into this Publix, I looked up and realized that the light fixtures hanging from the ceiling are more beautiful than the other stores and are somewhat brighter. Team members are pleasant and helpful. The Publix app is very helpful to find sales items and to locate items on the aisles. Shopping carts are clean, and they move smoothly. It seems to me Publix is really working hard to make our shopping experience pleasant.

Comment: The cleanest supermarket Ive seen in the area, the pharmacy workers are very personable, friendly cashiers, and everyone working there always seems to be in a great mood and will go out of their way to help if you have any questions. I almost feel bad that theres a Subway in the same shopping center, as everyone knows PubSubs are superior to anything Subway or any other sub spot has. Amazing fresh salads, and I grill up their ribeye steaks twice a month, and they never fail to have good sales, especially bogos. Seriously, I think its the best supermarket chain in Florida and this particular store is easily 5 stars. Enjoy, and one more thing...John Cena is a regular there. Always cool seeing that guy!

Comment: I have always loved this Publix, but today they went above and beyond the call of duty. I called and asked if they could make a giant Thomas the Train cake with only a 4 hour time window instead of the normal 24 hours because I was not able to make one in time for my sons party today. They, to my great surprise, said yes! They made a perfectly decorate Thomas the Train cake with mountains, tracks, lake and trees with frosting. The kids loved it and I think even the parents ate more than the kids!!! Thank you so very much!!!

Comment: You cant compete with Publix in Florida. They have a great deli which makes awesome sandwiches and fried chicken. To save time place your sandwich order online and pick it up. The store is always clean and well stocked. The meat department could have a better selection but it is mostly like other stores. Cashiers are always friendly and talk to the kids.
