There was no wait at all in the express line...got in, got it with no trouble at all. All of the above still holds true...just went again and got everything I needed. No wait in line to check out. Went again today and they were busier than usual, but I didnt need much. Did the self checkout...didnt have to wait. Easy in and out.

Super disappointed, but the employee that served me was nice and the store looked clean & well maintained. If I’m ever near that area again, I’d go back there and give it another shot.

Comment: Publix employees are always helpful, pleasant and courteous. They always smile and greet me when Im shopping. Its nice. The store is well organized, clean and stocked. They have reasonably priced store brands on a variety of products and I like the produce, meat and bakery goods offerings and quality. The parking lot and store front are clean.

Comment: This is my to go supermarket. Its very clean(restroom test), the staff are always friendly, they have my cinnamon cheerios, that refreshing Publix mango drink by the sweet tea section and a variety of kumbacha...... cant beat that, Cheers!!!!

Comment: The word Gluten free makes some people think it is just a regular diet. Some even think is not important but people with Celiac disease can NOT eat Gluten and for life have to eat a strict Gluten Free diet. Please educate all employees about this subject and other allergies since it is part of the job at a grocery store. Thank you.

Comment: I love this Publix! Most to all of the time, its great.However, when I called in a pub sub last night at 7pm, and went in at the 30 minutes they quoted, my sandwich (6 Italian) wasnt ready. I had to (re)order it when I got there. I just wish that service worked better.

Comment: Living in Lakeland, FL, I go out of my way to go to this particular Publix at Avalon when I come to visit my son living here. It is always enjoyable shopping. Well stocked shelves, friendly helpful employees, efficient checkouts, and most importantly of all to me: The manager is almost always out on the floor making sure things are right, even helping out at times, and being friendly to the customers. This is the way Publix Super Market stores managers should be. I love going to this particular Publix. I have been to the new one on E. Colonial a few times now and have yet to see the manager, or even a manager of any type on the floor. Highly recommend this Publix.

Comment: Excellent service! I came here with my dog, Svente, to have him butchered. While most places refused me service, Avalon Park Publix not only quartered my friend, but did so exuberantly--I could tell the employees were happy! As soon as they were finished, they nervously (Im sure from the excitement) wiped off the counters and handed me the meat wrapped in a white, blood-stained Target curtain. Unfortunately, the white Target curtain killed the mood for me, which is why I gave them 4 stars. Also, after the service, two of the employees who aided in slaughtering my amigo ran up on me for gratuity. I handed them two $20 each and they swore to keep shut haha, whatever the hell that means. Anyways, fantastic people! I love hispanics!
