A nice amount of meat and made perfectly. They build from scratch. You tell them what you want and they make the hoagie. If you are like me and love sweet peppers, do not ask or order them because they do NOT know what a sweet pepper is. Hot peppers were put on my hoagie and I promptly had her remove them. They also sell disney balloons for the people who dont want to purchase the $30 Disney balloon for their kids in the parks. This is a great alternative! Publix has fast become my number one goto for all things grocery, produce, and now deli. Im a trucker. They make to order my sandwich and perfectly. They cut and wrap into thirds so that I am able to easily eat while on the go. Shout out to Jason (sub maker) and the Spanish speaking gentleman (he cut the shaved beef) as a great team turning out an even greater product.I hope to make this Publix a regular weekly stop.

Comment: I went to the Championsgate location and they were out of tomahawks. I went to this location and asked if they had any more tomahawks as there were none at the other locations. Andrew offered to cut me a fresh piece and made sure the cut was to my liking. And the price was even better! That’s true customer service! Thank you Andrew

Comment: Great store, spacious, clean and plenty of items to buy. Good place to shop if you are near Highlands Reserve on the 27. Slightly more expensive than say Walmart further up the road but not enough to warrant the drive. The assistant that served us on the tills was polite, chatty and very helpful.

Comment: Well my experience was actually at the pharmacy inside. I waited literally all day for my prescriptions, but within reason. Im always pleasant to people to really understand what took so long and speaking with the tech Macy she explained they are a busy pharmacy and I know from going they enough there isnt enough staff filling prescriptions and having only 1 pharmacist to verify certain meds that need a double count. We were talking about how many people die each year in hospitals and from inexperienced or rushed pharmacies giving meds meant for others, doctors missing interactions or ordering the wrong meds all together. I appreciate the care and time they take for all their customer/patients and even though I had to wait over 6 hours Ill still give them 5 stars. The wait times continue to be long and truly a literally and figuratively. If it was for the fact that my insurance meshes well with this pharmacy I would go and transfer. Being ready when they quote a time and then not being ready. Is just bad. Today 3/14 was not a pharmacy visit however. I needed soda and something quick and there was a good sale buy 2/get 1 free on the soda and got a good deal at the deli for hot chicken tender sandwiches less than $4. I was hungry so I got 2 and they were good.

Comment: I have been through many many many food stores, And by far hands down Publixs Supermarkets wind up against all of them. Everyone is so friendly andfrom the time you walk through their parking lot, the employees are incredibly nice and always have a huge smile on their faces. I thanked my cashier and the person bagging the groceries a bunch of times for gently bagging my items and I just heard, “My Pleasure”. I felt like I was in the twilight zone compared to grocery stores back home (in PA) At Publix, when you’re walking in you’re always greeted with, Hello how are you doing today? and when leaving you hear Have a great day. I have never ever been greeted by any other Food Store like this and I really must say that it really does make a lasting impression on me and Im sure everyone else who shops at Publix. Also, the woman who bagged my groceries (Catherine) was nice enough to take my cart to my vehicle and load up my groceries. I asked her is this a service I’d have to pay for and she replied, “Oh, heavens no”. I will come here every time I need groceries. Love it.😊🙏🏽

Comment: Its a convenient place to be at. I only went here for the $5 sushi on Wednesdays. Surprisingly, they had them made in the morning before 9am. The Publix over in Davenport and Haines City makes theres after 9am. I work third shift so I like to have lunch or dinner in the morning not breakfast. Thankfully this Publix had exactly what I was craving for at the right time.

Comment: From NJ, but I bounce around Florida quite a bit to see relatives and theres never a Publix far away. This one though was head and shoulders above the rest. Prices...great. Service...great. Parking...great. Products...great. Heck, even the other customers were in fact...great!Short stories...wife called and let me know I left my wallet at our rental house in near by Tuscan Ridge development. I left everything in a basket with the young lady at the nearest register. She held onto everything there, but also took the time to place my refrigerated items in a refrigeration unit. A manager outside lifted a tarp sign to help my tallness get past it. Another visit a worker saw my cart had a wobbly wheel and brought me a better one. Though I had 14 items a clerk invited me to the express lane rather the stand in the longer line. A floor worker on a refilling mission walked me over to the bakery to make sure I found the donuts I was looking for. Here in NJ we have Shoprite supermarkets where none of the above has ever occurred and Stop and Shop who have employed a wheeled robot that patrols the floor for spills and tends to follow people of color who enter the store. Publix was a joy to visit and may be the reason I move to Florida when I retire.

Well-stocked shelves lined with a wide variety of foodstuffs, including organic and locally sourced items. Their produce is usually very fresh and un great shape.
