Comment: I enjoy shopping at Publix whenever Im in Florida. They have my favorite yogurt, Skyr Icelandic. They probably are a bit more expensive than other grocery stores in the area, but if they have what I want, this store is where Ill shop.

Comment: Publix is a great chain if you don’t mind paying a little more for groceries to have a friendly welcoming atmosphere and a clean supermarket that offers in-house bakery services a deli and hot fare.The store is usually not over crowded the isles are wide enough for people to shop comfortably everything is organized well my only complaint is the prices seem to be only slightly higher than Walmart or Aldi but in my opinion well worth it due to the atmosphere and services available and the general friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.I ordered a cupcake cake for my daughters birthday and plan to do the same for my other children the order process was easy and I made last minute changes but the staff was great and accommodated my requests with a friendly attitude.

Sandwich platter was amazing as always and the cake was unbelievable! Their cake decorator did an phenomenal job with cake. It was a fruit cake and they did not skimp! Made a substitution of fruit and they were happy to oblige. This is my 2nd time ordering catering from Publix and wont be the last. Being from the northeast Im sad we dont have the chain up here. Its my go to whenever Im in Florida.

They do not issue rain checks when they run an ad without product. Still would give a 3.5 stars because of the staff attitudes, positive and helpful. Prices are still way too high compared to other grocery stores but probably because we keep shopping there. Will still shop there when I pick up meds just buying less.

I could be walking down an aisle and see an employee 10 yards ahead and I’m casually strolling along with my cart and nearly guaranteed the employee,who was stocking a shelf will ask either how I’m doing, or if I need help. There are so many other places that you have to search for help but that is not the case here. Thank you Publix! I moved to Florida 9 years ago and had the privilege to find out what a great company you are. Imagine how happy I was when I returned to Kentucky only to find that a new Publix was soon to be built a few miles away! I can’t wait to order my first ever PubSub in Kentucky! 👍🏻😎🌴

Comment: EDIT: How do you properly review a grocery store? This is my favorite grocery store in the Bradenton area. I have yet to find any moldy fruit or vegetables in the produce department. That cant be said of other grocery stores in the area. Ive never opened a fairy product to have it be curdled already, or had one go bad before its date on the container.The shelves were well stocked during the pandemic, better than what I saw in the other stores in the area, including other Publix stores.Each Publix store carries certain basics and then everything else is up to what the customer base likes in that store. If you dont find what you want in one public, you have 2 options, 1) special order it to the store youve been shopping at and ask them to continue carrying it. 2) go to another Publix store and see if they carry it there. Its very likely that, unless its some crazy odd item, youll find a store with a customer base that fits your liking nearby. It may be a mile or two farther to drive, but if thats the store you like, its worth it. With the way Publix stores are located, though, its likely youll find another one, that you like, within the same distance from your home or work place as the one youre doing at now and are not finding what you want at (if thats the case).This Publix is also located right next to one of the Aldis in town, so I stop by there first for certain items that I dont mind buying off-brand.___This Publix is huge and has all the stuff you want at great prices.

Comment: Publix is a good supermarket. We like the one on 14th. A good layout and for whatever reason,theres a scale in the lobby I like to step on. But, the Publix on Cortez is much better,in my opinion.

Comment: Been to too many Publix supermarkets, from Keywest to Tampa. All have their own distinctive features and personalities but for some reason my Publix at Bradenton Cortez Road is unique. From Customer Serv selling Fla Lottery tickets, the Nicest pharmacist besides couple techs, meat dept to the delicatessen preparing their subs with enthusiasm, Thanks Publix for your great experience for an average typical customer with more than 30 years in management in sales unknown to you but like to rate your service secretly and proudly can say you are doing a GREAT Job.

He will bend over backwards to help people. The bakery manager Guerrimo is also a fantastic person who I had the pleasure of working for. The people who work here are very pleasant and hard working. We arrived here in FL a month ago and were nervous in buying ice cream currently as we are waiting for a new refrigerator and unable to store it properly. We ate the whole container and loved it. Everything is so fresh.And the store is extremely clean. Its bigger then the one in my neighborhood. And it closes at 10:00 oclock. The other one in my neighborhood closes a hour earlier. That store is blessed to have someone like her on their team. The cashier was also very pleasant and helpeful the baggage handler just magnificent overall experience I have been shopping at Publix since I was a child being born and raised in Florida south Florida but every time I have to go grocery shopping I always look for the nearest Publix because its just my favorite store above all thank you once again Publix on Cortez road in Bradenton Florida. Comment: I love all of the Publix stores and employees. The stores are clean and well maintained and the employees will go as far as to walk with you a couple aisles away to find a product. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the deli is always backed up with too few employees to help the customers. It takes as long waiting at the deli to get a few cold cuts as it does to do the whole rest of my shopping.

Comment: This Publix is a very large store and that can be challenging however the grocery clerks are always informative and direct you right to the product. Very often when I am looking for something and the shelf is empty the clerks will go in the back and check the inventory to try to locate or tell me when I can expect it to return. The only complaint I have is the customers who blatantly disrespect some of the deli clerks. I have seen this on many occasions. I know that Publix is an inclusive employer and hires many with disabilities… it would be nice if other customers recognized that and would count their blessings rather than treat people like animals. Great store. Great location. Large selection. Excellent staff. This store is where shopping is a pleasure!

Comment: This is my familys primary Publix location. Personal shopping aside I work Instacart as a side gig so Im here a lot!No real complaints about this location. They have their moments with out of stocks but thats generally after a slammed weekend.Customer service is excellent, if I cant find something staff goes out of their way to help locate. Cashiers offer greetings and friendly conversations while baggers offer assistance to my car.Store conditions are excellent in relation to cleanliness and organization. When accepting shop batches this is my first choice everytime when I am able. Produce is generally in great shape, and perishables have been within expiration date each purchase. I say this as you would be surprised how many stores have and sell expired non-rotated food.If your looking for a clean, quality driven experience this is the place for you.

An excellent example of the Publics brand.Recent resurfacing of parking and driving areas make the experience even better. Comment: Nice, clean store and the people who work there are always friendly and helpful. If you have trouble finding an item, the staff will either tell you exactly where it is, or personally escort you to the aisle and shelf location and point it out to you. One time the person I asked was unsure, so he went and got a colleague who did know to show us both! This is much better than at some stores where the staff is not as informed and tell you I think its over there as they ambiguously point somewhere. Publix also has buy on, get one deals every week which can add up to big savings!
