Comment: As soon as I landed and was picked up we headed straight to the Publix. This location felt so upscale but truth be told all locations in Florida feel that way really.I am used to Atlanta Publix. Its different. I will forever say that Florida has everything you can imagine. The variety in their stores are much different than those I Georgia.This store was on the smaller scale. Aisles are narrow however this place packs a punch. Everything is neat and fresh. You have an abundance to choose from. The deli was busy. Arent they always? They got us out of there in a good amount of time. No worries.The staff was nice. Big kudos to them for having a lot of handicap buggies available. That is so important. Everyone should have access to food shopping. Thank you Publix. Where shopping is a pleasure.

Comment: I want to give a shout out to Minjie a cashier at the Publix Promenade, Sarasota. While traveling from out of town, I stopped at the local Publix to pick up a few items for my hotel stay. As I was checking out, Minjie indicated I could save a couple of dollars if I added dinner rolls from the deli to my purchase. She was gracious, helpful and had a lovely smile. Comment: They need to do something about the online ordering for subs. Almost everytime our subs have been snagged by the time we get there. Opportunistic people keep a close eye on that area and grab them up. Just a suggestion to keep them behind the counter until the customer arrives. I can only assume they have lost a lot of money remaking subs for customers.

The restaurants on the island will get pretty expensive if you only eat out. They have all always treated me with kindness.While the general store selection is limited as what I have heard coined, Boutique Publix, its also the cream of the crop so to speak with an organic/non GMO approach from most of the chosen brands. I can only envision that its due to the fact that its what most of Sarasota would buy combined with what most tourists are buying.This place is a hotspot for lunch so plan to be waiting because those lines are long.

Restrooms are located WAY in the very back corner of the store.. i also really dont like the fact that they close @ 9:00pm.. probably because of the neighborhood, idk?! Comment: When in that area of town at lunchtime I usually stop by Publix for a quick lunch. Its convenient, quick andDelicious. Also a great place to stop by when youre in need of flowers for a quick gift. Publix is a highly rated grocery store that they earned.

Comment: Called in an order of hot wings and korean BBQ, large bleu cheese sauce for wings and 2 ultimate subs. Totally messed up the order Wings were not breaded, no korean bbq. Just plain wings in sauce. Don was super helpful. He went out of his way to help us. Even though we didnt get everything we ordered, his caring and concern for us was super. I wish he worked for me. He just went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. He apologized for the mix up many times. Super great person and employee. Publix is very lucky to have him as their employee

Comment: Good publix with friendly employees, who try their hardest. Thing is, its too small for the high population area it serves. It is often crowded, and the deli is often understaffed. Which leads to long wait times, angry customers, and exhausted workers trying to keep up.

Comment: Great options and the pub subs are fantastic. Jonathan is the best sandwich maker, if he suggests you get something, I’d do it. We had 4 different sandwiches and every one was better than the last - thank you Jonathan!The employees are great and fun to be around. We stayed at a hotel nearby for 5 days and found ourselves at this store 4 out of the 5 days. We couldn’t help but come back everyday.

Comment: The staff is extremely helpful. Many times Im asked by 2 or 3 if I need help finding anything. UNUSUAL in Florida. Superior organic selection, cool updated brew section, top-notch cold-brew espresso section. Blackberries, watermelon are always perfect ripeness. Super friendly butcher (The tubby one!), foooorget-a-bout it with the #1 famous crew in their DELI. Do the ultimate sub. Have fun.

Comment: I went with my Mom who is in her 70s. Every employee she stopped and asked for help was EXTREMELY nice to her! She had issues with her selection of meat and the man was so patient with her!! Then she wanted a publix brand frozen veg n an employee found an entire box in back for her...again being very helpful and pleasant!! For this I will go out of my way to shop here!! Thank you! Comment: Great customer service. I actually was one of the last customers in the store about 3 weeks ago and I accidentally dropped a $20. I called the next morning and to my surprise, they had it for me. This blew my mind. Very grateful for the honest worker who turned it in.

Comment: This Publix is a great stop for groceries in the Sarasota area. Its situated right downtown but has a spacious parking lot, the staff are reliably helpful and friendly, and the store is always well-kept. Prices seem a tad bit higher at this location than some others.

Comment: I would like to say that I extremely pleased with the service I received from the deli. The young man Johnathan who was making a few subs for me and my wife is great at his job. The line was getting bigger and he stayed focused and wasnt getting overwhelmed. Looking forward to the next time I come in.

Comment: The staff is great especially Jake and Kay in the checkout lines. I am here almost everyday during the week and they are always spot on. The deli is mostly solid, occasionally they miss an order (or someone takes our order) when they are busy during the lunch rush

Comment: I was looking for slim Jims in a box, and two managers were quickly walking by. I said I know youre in a hurry, but can you tell me what aisle the slim Jims are on? They both stopped, and told me theyre in the meat section and well go get them for you... My mouth dropped! I couldnt believe they were willing to stop what they were doing, and grab something just for me. So they went to the meat department while I continued shopping. On the the third aisle I was on they both walked up with several choices of slim Jims in boxes. I was in awe! I couldnt thank them enough, and I smiled the rest of my shopping trip. Ive always appreciated Publix for their excellent customer service but this time they went above and beyond. Just made my day! 😁

Comment: Was in town for the Christmas Boat Parade. Its laid out different and smaller less aisles. A little delay for deli hot items but the two of us split up and we lucked out at check out. Should always have an express open at all times. They didnt.

Comment: The employees are awesomely courteous and oh so helpful.I truly believe the experience in buying food is relevant to, ultimately, how the body absorbs and utilizes the nutrients. I always feel gr8 about buying my food here at this particular Publix store and the employees make it a pleasurable experience each and every time I shop for groceries.
