I was at checkout thinking I had just enough for very few items that I needed to stretch to eat for my whole family for over a week. I was $7 short and asked to get items removed off of my purchase when the cashier Lynn helped me with the remaining balance without telling me. I am forever grateful for her act of kindness! BOGO are the best offers they make frequently, sometime they do have exceptional prices on holiday meats and fixings. Staff is friendly and helpful as always, the managers and deli personal are exceptional! Checking out is usually a breeze, the front managers are very aware when lines get long and they immediately open more. I have not used their pharmacy so I can not comment on that. The only reason I give this location 4 stars is that their prices are a bit high and they could have a better produce selection and that the parking lot is, more times that not, a nightmare.

Ive been thinking about being able to buy fresh popcorn in the deli for a long time now. I was so glad to be shopping in a Public Supermarket again and yes, I did get my deli popcorn.

Comment: The employees here are the best. They are very helpful to us old folks. They always are pleasant and say hi. They ask if you are finding everything you need. If something is out of stock they rush to the back to find it. I spent 27 years in the USMC and am over 70 but still fit. They always offer to carry my bags out even if it is raining.

Comment: This store is always nice to shop for groceries and ready to eat items. The Lottery ticket counter is separate from the check out lanes.... really great. There is always something that I use that is on sale....buy two, get two more.... I never get just one. A lot of nice cars in the parking lot everyday. And a nice parking lot also. Ive never had a shopping cart here with bad wheels on it. And then there is the liquor store right next door if you are into that sort of thing. It was a long time ago but, thank you Jesus for turning the water into wine, Ill never forget. Some things in this store, you cant find at that other store. I just wish that one of these stores would stock Van Camps Chili with Beans so that I didnt have to get it shipped in from up north.

Comment: I was incredibly impressed with the customer service here. When my daughter picked up the special order cake she did not not realize the decorations were wrong till she got home. When I called them they quickly made a new cake for her and let her! They were very apologetic and super friendly about correcting the mistake! I would definitely use them again and thank them for being so easy to work with.

Comment: Pleasant experience, first visit to a Publix store. Got take out Boars head sub sandwiches, excellent. Ice cream French vanilla store brand, excellent. Got a couple 2 for 1 deals, and found navigation of store easy. Southern style potato salad is first one ever bought that doesnt make me wish I had made my own. Very friendly and helpful employee attitudes.

Comment: I love shopping at Publix in Punta Gorda, FL. The employees are all so friendly and helpful. Publix has great sales and carry wide selection, just like you would find shopping at a big box grocery store, but without fighting the big crowds. This Publix location is clean and they do a good job keeping the shelves stocked. Ive also found they carry several items that I cant find at other grocery stores. I also truly appreciate that as cashier scans your items, they have employees dedicated to bag your groceries. Then they will push your shopping cart out to where youre parked and load your purchase into your vehicle!

I just want to warn customers of, despite the signage stating masks are required, I saw quite a few with no masks in sight (who were yelling across the deli counter) or masks not covering their mouth and nose. Ive never had an employee be anything less than accommodating.Dont even get me started on how great the deli staff is. They remember what I get, how I get my meats and cheese sliced.Obviously the prices here are a little more at Walmart, but you get what you pay for - clean store, stocked shelves, quality products... But most importantly, staff that makes you feel like family!

Comment: I shop at this location weekly. Staff is always so friendly, but due to the rudeness of one person who works in the checkout dept, I can only rate this store a 4 star. This woman has short jet black hair and wears glasses. Unfortunately I haven’t looked at her name tag. She never says hello, never smiles, and today as I was waiting for my groceries to be bagged, she came up behind me and ran into the back of my arm as if trying to push me out of the way. As I moved, she finally said “sorry” in a very disgusted way and took off out the door to the parking lot. I will continue to shop here due to the great produce dept, but I will avoid her at all costs whenever I see her working the check out lane.

Comment: Publix is a well run operation. The store is very clean and organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have wide aisles and carts that work. I hardly ever have to stand in line for more than a few minutes. They open up more registers if customers are waiting unlike Wal-Mart. Publix has a great full service deli and bakery. They even have a sub station with all fixings. Overall a great store.

Comment: Since the upgrade this Publix is lovely. The aisles are very wide. This store is always well stop. However this is not the reason I go to this Publix. The reason I go to this Publix in particular is because of the pharmacy. Michelle, the pharmacist, is spectacular. She knows my name and she is so friendly. I take a lot of different prescriptions and they have never made a mistake on anything that I take. Jason. Is just as friendly. I would recommend using Publix Pharmacy and this Publix Pharmacy in particular to anybody

I can honestly say that Publix supermarket is right up there with fantastic employees, service and just about everything else. We like that they have many BOGO’s all the time and also have gas cards that are $10.00 off when spending a certain amount. It’s really great to be able to shop all year around at 2 great supermarkets.

Comment: This is a very good supermarket. It has great service as the employees are so nice. Some of the stuff can be a bit pricey however its still great and has reasonable deals when something is on sale.
