Comment: Yes most Publix are pretty nice and clean. This place is phenomenal. Its beautiful It looks brand new inside and open aisles. Produce is usually nice and fresh bright and green. We dont live close to this Publix but we come here when we come to Gainesville and is an amazing place. Some people complain about the prices at Publix but to me the quality is worth the price!!! I would highly recommend this location to anybody and everybody. The staff are nice and friendly as well.

Comment: Absolutely love and so appreciate this Publix! Its a regular stop when Im traveling i75 because its clean, employees are nice and the store is well stocked with lots of things I need. I have such special memories here of my child getting a balloon here and running around to get some wiggles out from being stuck in the car. Love that I can come here, use the restroom thats CLEAN (so thankful for that!) and grab subs from the deli to eat there or on the road. Thank you Publix for setting the standard for grocery stores. You are so appreciated, youve earned our business.

When the last hurricane hit i saw we had battery back up light bulbs but sold out before I could get one but it was fine. Also my CO workers are very friendly and helpful and the customers are always a pleasure to talk to. And we always have what Im looking for weather its a light bulb or some apples we have so much. The only thing I wish it had was the upstairs dining area

I am in Gainesville now and my experience at the pharmacy was phenomenal.Lucas is a natural at customer service and his overall knowledge was quite impressive. Comment: This is the best publix for pokebowls. They actually fill their containers up. Aside from that you may pay a little bit more for your food and groceries. But it wont go bad near as quickly as Walmart and youll see nice employees that want to work. instead of ones that are lazy. Having a smile on your face is key to customer service. By far, on the south side of town, this Publix is the best.However, at all Publix stores in Gainesville, make sure to at least check expiration dates on your dairy. If its even close, do not purchase. With complaints, talking to managers directly, and seeing boxes of yogurt sitting in the aisle unattended... buyer beware. They will refund you... but Id suggest you save yourself the extra trip. Stay healthy out there!

They carry lots of specific specialty foods here like gluten free foods and flavors of chips that I cant get at other places. I come here specifically for gluten free bread, pizza and their pristine produce section. One thing I would say is that I always have a hard time finding an available employee when I have a question. Comment: This Publix has a catering coordinator/area inside, which we utilized to get a cake ordered for our wedding.We were able to select three different cake/filling/frosting combos to sample, prior to meeting with Margo, one of their catering coordinators. She was extremely friendly and reviewed all of the different options we had with us. Ordering the cake was extremely easy, as was coordinating payment and delivery.The cake was delivered on time (or early, we actually never saw them!) and looked exactly as my wife had imagined. All of our guests said that it was absolutely delicious (vanilla cake, cannoli filling, vanilla buttercream) and we had more than enough to go around, with leftovers. Publix has always had great cakes for other occasions, and they are definitely worth using for a wedding too!

Comment: I’ve never been to a Publix before, but I have had multiple friends tell me that if I ever have the chance I have to have one of their subs! Well today at this location was the first time I visited a Publix store, and upon walking in, I stopped at their vaccination appointment desk to see where to go to try out their subs. Luck would have it, the store manager was standing there and personally showed me the way to the deli counter where I ordered a sandwich. Before the sandwich was even finished, another store employee stopped by, gave me the receipt to the sandwich, and said that the store manager had covered it!!! It made my day! I made sure to actually buy some other things so that the store would get some of my money. I walked out with some delicious fresh fruit and some donuts for my colleagues for an early start to our next morning. All of this for just seven dollars! Everyone was so friendly, and was thrilled to have me in their store since it was my first time! Can’t believe the experience I had. Wish I could give more than five stars! Thank you Publix team!!

Comment: I came in last Sunday and had a great experience in the store. When I went to the deli Bryton greeted me right away and was very informed in the different types of meats and cheese they carry. What surprised me the most was that he was fast and sliced my meat perfectly! Will be definitely coming back to this store!!

There is always a lot both push carts and handicap scooters.Isles are wide, fully filled shelves with a wide selection of products.To limit customer traffic, lanes are clearly marked in order to prevent to many people going in different directions.Like all Publix stores, customer service is fast and courteous.

Comment: Has everything we need. One of the biggest Publix in town and it is open till 11pm most nights. The staff is always friendly and asking if we need help. Great place to shop, the layout helps make it easy to find what you are looking for. We love shopping and getting dinner at the same time. We love their Pub Subs. One of the employees named Robert who is always making subs does an excellent job. Sometimes it is a little difficult to understand him but he goes above and beyond the call to make sure you get the best sub.

Comment: One of the nicest Publixes in Gainesville. This one and Springhill Commons are my favorites. This store is so big and has such a nice selection of extras. The employees here are super friendly too! My wife and I got our Wedding cake here 3 years ago and were very pleased with the professionalism of the employee who helped us from the Publix events center. Great store all around!

Comment: The fresh produce is a dead giveaway that this publix lives up to its name. While being one of the smaller stores you can still expect to find everything you need. Ofcourse, being publix means the deli becomes backed up at times but those who frequent know this to be common place in the Gainesville Publixs.

Comment: We hired Publix to make our wedding cake and it was fantastic! Generally, I’m not a huge fan of cake (wedding or otherwise), but the cake was absolutely delicious and the icing decoration was simple yet elegant (which is exactly what we were looking for). It didn’t take much convincing for us to go back for seconds on our wedding night, and we certainly enjoyed the little bit of leftovers that we had afterward.

Comment: My son was graduating and I wanted orange flowers for the party. Im sorry to say I dont remember the ladies name who helped me on the phone but she was very helpful. I ordered orange gerber daisies but realized they were not going to work and she was so nice about it and ordered orange roses for me instead and didnt even mind. When I went to pick them up Ray was so helpful in finding the right flowers for me even to the point of pulling a few out of bunches they had packed together. Even running to the check out with one more flower for me. One of the nicest experiences Ive ever had at a Publix. Thank you helping make the party so successful.
