Comment: Publix is king in Florida! You wont find a better shopping experience anywhere else. Publix prides itself on customer service. Publix has a complementary carry out service for all shoppers. They also pride themselves on having clean stores and well stocked shelves. If theres a sale item not in stock you can get a rain check and they will honor that sale price when it comes in. They also have the Publix Promise for items that do not ring up as advertised. Ive seen some pricey items given to customers. Of course alcohol is excluded. And dont forget their chicken and Pub Sub. You wont find this at Winn-Dixie or Walmart.

The amount of cross contamination and possible allergy transference witnessed while making our sub we decided that we couldnt eat while this person was making our sub. No surface paper being used. Laying the bread of the sub right in the tomato juice left over from the previous sub. When asking the worker why she would do this, she responded that this is the way she was trained. I seriously doubt that. Anyway, walked away without the sub.

I had the money in the account to the very helpful manager who showed me way more empathy than I deserved. I apologized as I began to pull things that I had bagged. It was a broken down fried chicken on top of toast with pickles. That was a good deal. I feel hosed having bought the Nashville hot wings. It came with half the chicken by weight(edible), no toast or pickle yet its the same price?I poured over 2 fl.oz. of grease into the shopping bag while carrying it in.Not purchasing this ever again. Comment: I want to thank the Plaza at Tampa Palms Publix for their extra effort and quick and efficient help with a problem with my online order through Instacart. First pick-up went smoothly, however when I got home I discovered that I was missing all my meat (one steak, pack of pork chops, and a package of 4-count chicken thighs),I called the store to see if I could come and pick up my missing items and was informed that there was a problem and that they weren’t there and that there must be a problem with Instacart because I was the second person that morning missing items.However they offered to replace the items and even offered to deliver them to me for free, but I don’t live to far away and opted just to go back and pick up the replacements, and in the 10 minutes that it took me to get to the store, they (I’m sorry I did not catch the employee’s name) were already in the parking lot waiting for me.Service like this is why I will always shop at Publix. I really appreciate the extra effort, and why this trip still gets a 5 star review.

Comment: Always clean and most convenient location being right across the street from our Tampa palms entrance. The self checkout is always available (which is usually hard to find since its so popular) so I can always get in and out in minutes if needed. The staff is always helpful and the meats and produce are always in excellent quality and condition.The only thing I would like to be worked on Is the stock, currently alot of things seem to be out if stock which I know is not their fault, but the publix at cross creek usually has it.

Comment: Our Bakery Cake Decorator is Fantastic! Can not thank our Publix store enough for the wonderful job, Ms Beth in the Bakery dept has done for our kids birthday cakes. Couple of years ago our favorite neighbor cake decorator moved away. We have always had specific cake themes each year (12+) and thought with her move this would now be a special memory. Thankfully we heard about Ms Beth in our local grocery! Ms Beth originally worked for years in a specialty cake shop up north and loves decorating and she has a true talent! Pictured includes (Painting-dtrs favorite activity, Taylor Swift flowers from an award dress, Frogs-fav pet, and Rose gold theme 16in cookie cake for the big 18) Ms Beths creativity has added much joy to our birthday dinners each year and we thank her sincerely for her talented eye, in addition to her patience with us when bringing in who knows what (napkin, music cover, google pic etc). Ms Beth is a real jewel to both Publix and to our community. Hugs!

Comment: Not a bad Publix. The aisles are a bit cramped. Being as cramped as they are, they could remove some of the displays that make it even more difficult for customers to peruse. Im afraid some of these smaller Publixs will have no choice but to add a second floor if they are going to compete with the likes of Wemgans. The staff was really friendly. Items were easy to find. I got a couple samples which is always fun. I like that they have self-checkout lanes now. First time I have seen these in a Publix, but its also been a while since I shopped anywhere but Aldi.

From the pharmacy where I got all 3 of my covid shots quickly and easily, to the deli and seafood sections with their caring staff, to their well-stocked produce section, this is a great place to shop. They even have self checkout, which I havent seen at many other locations.

Comment: Publix has a lot of great food and its got a good selection of plant based meats. I considered taking a star off because they were out of store brand diet lemon lime soda, but I gave it back because they had six packs of those tiny cans of tomato juice. Publix bakery also has sprouted grain bread, which is worth the price for the flavor and texture. Another good thing about the bakery is they give free cookies to kids. The prices are a little high throughout the store, but its a pleasant shopping experience.

I was handed a delicious sample an employee with a nice smile made. Then as I was picking out some sushi ($5!!!!!) the sushi man told me I was beautiful. I think he could tell I was having an ugly day because I really needed that!! It was so kind! THEN! I got BOGO meatballs! Staff is friendly, food selection normally good except pineapples at times. Parking is pretty easy. It will get crowded at peak times tho. highly recommend ordering deli meat online and picking it up because waiting in store will take forever.

Comment: I went to Publix today and had just finished work. I was tired and did not feel like cooking so I went to the deli and Xavier helped me out. I am a Muslim therefore I can’t eat pork so I asked him kindly if he could clean the slicing machine before slicing the turkey and he did without a second thought. I know how annoying it can get sometimes to do this but he did with no problem. He asked if I wanted the bread to be warmed up and the tomatoes sliced or diced. This is true quality. It’s people like this that make a company stand out and make customers keep coming back.Thanks Publix staff and Xavier!

The only thing that can take a little time here is waiting in line for cold cuts at the deli or to get a sub. Im happy with the produce and meat selection, and friendly staff always willing to help. My only complain is seafood department. Selection is sparse and quite sad looking, and it seems that its gotten worst recently. Local fish is rarely offered, and there is never wild salmon or higher quality fish.

Comment: Came in for a wrap and there was only one gentleman at the sub counter. I asked him if he could make me a wrap and he said yeah hold on a minute and went into the back. After a decent amount of time passed I leaned to my friend and stated it was taking a while.One of the deli employees named Watson overheard and practically my complaint to my friend andcame sprinting over. He immediately apologized and asked about why I was waiting without any help at the deli counter. In what seemed like under a minute, Watson put a fresh wrap in my hand with a discount to go with it.Watsons amazing service erased any reservation I had about my trip before that point. Bravo Watson. Thanks for striving for excellence bud.
