Comment: First time I Ordered a cake from the publix bakery - ordered it late on the app 10/19 and picked up 12:30 10/20. Short turn around time and Patty did my cake with a BEAUTIFUL custom design and did it perfectly and the design was not easy at all!! Shes a rockstar and deserves a raise. so so sweet and great customer service and baking skills. Cake was delicious. Will be back for all my cakes from Patty.

Comment: I came to publix to have lunch. My cashier was a sweet middle aged black woman named monica. (I only identify the color and age incase there is more than one Monica working). I watched at her cheerful attitude cheered up other customers in front of me. She was polite fun and efficient.Fast forward 15 minutes… I am sitting in the lunch area. Monica walks by and notices a lady that doesnt look well at one of the tables. Monica immediately goes to her to make sure she is okay… the lady admits quitely she is having chest pains.Monica radios for a manager then ultimately paramedics are called quickly.People like Monica never get the recognition they deserve.Monica you are a everyday hero. Thank you for what you do.Publix, give this lady a raise!

Havent had a sub from Publix for quite awhile & was wondering why they didnt go ahead with their plans to open sub shops. Priced right & the option to upgrade to Boars Head is a no brainer. If youve been to Subway lately & noticed the price changes for a while sub are in the $12 range you can see what a bargain a Publix sub is & cant even compare the quality. Then, Ill shop at Publix for items I cant find anywhere else, ONLY!Example: 1 lb of Ground Beef at Publixcosts, approx $8.00. AldisI can buy 2.5 lbs of sameGround Beef for $9-$10.Chicken Breasts: 5 or 6 (HUGE BREASTS), THAT I HAVE TO CUT IN HALF. ONLY, $10-$12 for package.At Publix, 2 Breasts (Average size) costs approximately $8 - $9.00 for package.All I do is SEPERATE portions, and rap in PRESS and SEAL, then wrap in Tin-foil.

You have the people that have seen most everything and done it all, winding down, needing a place to be helpful. You have the younger Generations that are either doing what they can to get ahead in life while they have the opportunity, you have the career oriented, and you even have the types that are struggling to do what they can. But the one thing they all have in common is theyre bound together as a crew. You learn to recognize that in people when it happens and it is rare indeed. But, it’s a Publix and we all know that Publix always stands up well against the competition. The shelves were well-stocked, the store was clean. The produce looked good but ouch, the prices! In fact, I can’t think of an item I’ve purchased lately that hasn’t seen a price increase in the last year so Publix isn’t really to blame for that.

Comment: This particular Publix grocery store is nestled within the historic McGregor district. Easy access off of Colonial boulevard just a block away from McGregor boulevard. This store has a great management team. Super friendly staff!! And this store is super Clean. Youre gonna love shopping here!

Comment: This is by far the best Publix compared with the downtown, Six Mile, Daniels, Lee Blvd and all of San Carlos/Estero locations. It always has fresh and delicious seafood options, their pre-made selections are prepared with more care. I can rarely go to a different location because this one is so special and I can’t recommend it enough!

The bakery here just went above and beyond to make his birthday memorable!Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. I used to visit the one at 1st Street in Ft Myers and I have no complains about that one, I recently moved in another area of the city.... Grocery Markets are by millions in this area.... Temptations for a GIVE UP on Publix are all around, but I didnt give up.... Google Maps and ...... VOILA, THERE IS A PUBLIX LESS THAN ONE MILE FROM HOME..... So I drove over there.....I already said I like that previous one that I was used to..... My opinion, Publix Super Market at Colonial IS THE PLACE FOR SHOPPING.....I couldnt say this or that department (aisles) is better than the other.....Everything is carefully organized, prices at sight, discounts (who does not like discounts) all around placed in a way you can easily locate them.... And ..... The most important AND ...... IVE BEEN THERE FOUR TIMES IN THIS TWO LAST WEEKS AND I FOUND THERE A FAMILY.... Smiles fly all over, you dont need to ask for because every single employee can tell you everything about what you are asking for when walking by your side and asking you how you are doing this days.... Friendly and Responsible.... Always ready to serve....From the Felt to the Pharmacy and going all the way around, you find amazing working guys and gals.....Then the moment to pay.... All possible questions about how you like your merchandize packed to ..... The staff for the most part, are friendly, and always make me feel like it’s not “interrupting them” to ask where things are that I can’t find. The only reason I am giving a four star and not a five is they need a better staffing situation in the deli. Those poor folks are always understaffed lately. I hope they find a way to staff it better and streamline busy times.Other than that, great Publix location.

Comment: I have lived in Florida all my life and been in many Publix stores since I was a kid. This is by far hands down the best Publix in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area and better than any Publix store I have ever been to in all of Florida. Everyone in the store is very friendly and their customer service is superior and excellent. They always go out of their way to assist me when I need something. The food from the deli and bakery is always fresh and the store is very clean. The pharmacy staff is also very nice and helpful. I would never go to another Publix in Fort Myers except for this one.

Comment: A little expensive for the same item you can get elsewhere cheaper. But the employees are outstanding! They go out of their way to satisfy customers. After bagging my items, the employee walked my cart to my car & unloaded the bags for me. The deli has fresh food & the attendants are very friendly.
