Comment: I am only rating this 5 stars because of Eric. Eric is hands down one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. He took on me and another guy at 9:58pm before closing at 10pm. He showed no attitude despite his coworker showing disapproval. If there’s any guy that deserves credit for me coming back to this publix time and time again it’s Eric.

Comment: This Publix location is a stand-out because of the chef who makes their fried chicken. I cant believe Im saying this but I now prefer Publix fried chicken to any other restaurants even if the price point were higher. The spicy breaded wings have no fat and the skin is so perfectly light and crispy. Ever since Tony started frying the chicken, Ive seen boxes fly off the shelves. Im so grateful that I can now stop at my local Publix and not have to hit restaurant row in Savannah or Charleston for a taste of the best spicy Southern fried chicken. Just make sure that its Tonys chicken.

Comment: June 6, 2023We recently changed to the Publix pharmacy.The location is very convenient for us.But, the main reason we changed was because of the wonderful staff.Brian Holtzman, the pharmacy manager, was able to change all of our prescriptions from the previous pharmacy an amazingly short period of time.Sherri helped us become established customers such a kind manner.Another reason that we changed to the Publix pharmacy, is that there is no drive-through window.When you walk up to the counter, the team is right there to help and take care of what we need.This Publix has everything.If they dont have it you dont need it!A special thumbs up goes to Tara, wonderful young lady from Wisconsin.November 20, 2019It is amazing how the renovation is made shopping at this Publix even easier.I have to tip my hat to the management and all of the staff who this project.Of course, I always like to say hi to Tara and Daniel when I stop in.We have lots of Publix stores here in Like Mary, but this Publix is our go to.12-28-19Their flower arrangements for Christmas were truly outstanding and reasonable.Flowers I chose were a beautiful and a great addition to our home during Christmas.

Comment: It is a bigger Publix which has more variety of goods to buy. The produce is good if you have an eye to pick the best vegs and fruits. The butchers are always helpful and will slice up any cut any way that you want. He deli line can be insane at times on the weekends so I would do an app order but with the mind set of going there an hour after you order to ensure it will be ready when you arrive.

Comment: Always have a good time here. Publix is Publix, and as long as you know how to shop its a great place to do so. Cashiers are always polite and make small talk even when Im only there for a couple things - to some that might be annoying but they do not force conversation if youre short to give them a hint you dont want to talk. Never waited in line for too long either.

Comment: Brooke Ina pharmacy manager was amazing, empathetic, has impeccable customer service skills. My hand came off and had to be surgically reattached. All of the other pharmacies we went to were closed Brooke understood we had just left the emergency Room and was very helpful being a business owner myself, I know Having people like this on your team Will make any business flourish. These types of experiences are the reason people choose publix over other chains. I was impressed by her patience as well as her attentiveness to others needs instead of what time it was. Comment: I ran in just minutes before they closed on Xmas Eve, I tried all day to get there. I rushed around to get the few things I needed, other shoppers came in after me and not once did I hear a Publix employee complain about having to wait on us last minute shoppers before they could go home to their families. Thank You Publix at Colonial Towne in Lake Mary, Florida for having employees with such great Guest Service, Professional, Friendly and Helpful makes me want to go out of my way to shop there. Comment: UPDATE: Shopping is truly a pleasure! Today was extremely busy in this particular Publix but Cameron is a superstar and saw us out at our car struggling with the mobility scooter all the groceries and everything else and came running over and helped us get everything in perfectly and had a huge smile on his face and was The brightest spot of our day!!They give the same great service you expect from Publix! This store is bigger than some of the others so they have a great selection of deli items, cheeses, bakery goods, and pretty much everything else. Parking can be difficult at times and if you come at lunch during the week you have to compete with all the people from the office buildings nearby. This store is good about ordering anything they don’t have on hand that you may want and they’re also really nice about special orders from the meat department.

Comment: This is by far the best Publix in florida. Ive never had a problem with any one working here. The deli is super friendly to the cashiers at the front especially the customer service. Not sure the managers name here but whoever he is hes doing a great job!! Ill never go to any publix except this one if I can help it. They should definitely give these guys a raise bonus or something since they cannot accept tips.

Comment: I am lucky enough to have the choice of three Publix locations within 10 minutes of where I live and this location is by far my favorite. While some complain about the layout I do give it props for variety not seen at the other two stores (Timacuan and Lake Mary Blvd), plus its produce and meat departments are well above the others in terms of quality and assortment. The butchers in the meat department are very helpful/friendly and find the same in the produce department when inquiring if something isnt out on the shelves theyll willingly go check in the back, or bring out more if not thrilled with whats out. Parking is much easier than the other locations and checkouts are quick too.

Comment: They have lots of organic products and produce. They have a good selection of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free foods. A little pricey on some stuff and good sales on other stuff. Im not impressed by the selection of non dairy milks.i like to get flax milk from the good Walmart. The Walmart on Rhinehart has a lot better selection of non dairy milks. But back to Publix. Theres always someone to help you to your car... Very helpful. Especially if you are handicapped.

Comment: This store has been my go to Publix for 10 years. Most of the staff is still there over the 10 years. They know me when i walk in and Im greeted with smiles and hellos. Managers are always around asking if I need help! The food is always fresh. The lines are never too long! Cashiers and Baggers are ALWAYS friendly and smiling. Its a great place to shop!!!

Comment: This is not a Publix I shop at, as I live out of town, but this 5 star review is for their bakery. I ordered my wedding cake from Publix and they did an outstanding job! They have several standard designs to choose from but we really wanted to design our own. They worked with us to make sure they fully understood our vision. On the day of, we finally got to see the cake and it was PERFECT! We would not have changed a thing!! It was gorgeous, tasted amazing, and was very reasonably priced. I would recommend Publix bakery and anyone in need of a cake.

Comment: Four stars are for my experience at this Publix in general, not this experience. The deli wait was ridiculous for only one person in front of me and 5 people behind the deli/subs area. When it came time to check out, the cashier Sophia chose to text instead of helping the bagger bag the groceries of the lady in front of me. When she greeted me she didnt make eye contact or even smile. She picked up her phone twice to text while I was there. The reason Im writing such a harsh review is because everytime I come here, I have a nice experience and employees actually crack a smile and are really helpful and know this is not the Publix standard. Valerie is the best cashier this Publix has.

Comment: You want a coffee in the morning, they have it, lunch in the afternoon, no problem they have multiple choices. They are a little more expensive vs others out there so regular weekly shopping may not be wise but if you pick and choose they have a lot to offer.
