Comment: When I first moved to the area and visited this store for the first time, the cashier and bagger didnt even acknowledge me. They carried on their own conversation and I told them to have a great day when I got my receipt, thats when they talked to me for the first time during the whole transaction.On a separate occasion my fiance had a gun pulled on him in the parking lot, which I understand Publix has no control over, but just so you know, that happened. All he was trying to do was help deescalate a situation because there were women and children around and these 2 guys were about to probably kill each other in your parking lot. (I am aware that its his own fault for trying to help and be a good person), that woman and her children were frightened though.All the other times we have been to your store have been fine, the CSTL was helpful and friendly when the other lines were backed up. the other cashier that we normally see, Nora, is wonderful and always a delight.

The store layout is somewhat different than other Publix stores in the area, so finding things took a little longer.Fresh produce and meats. In general, theres a wide variety of items at this store; however, many items are overpriced.Pharmacy on-site. I gave four stars because pharmacy does not have drive-thru, so if you are in a hurry it is definitely an inconvenience. Also, staff on site are friendly and efficient; however, two different employees at cash register were unable to provide information regarding pharmacy and store hours during the holidays.I would definitely recommend this Publix for your shopping needs, however, know there are other places that sell the same or similar items for less.Review is not sponsored and it is based on personal experience during time of visit at pharmacy and supermarket.

I been to quite of few. My least favorite in poinciana. I would highly recommend the Publix at Columbia promenade. I do miss there pre covid sample food they would make though.

Comment: If you have ever gone to a grocery store and been told “sorry” by a cashier or staff member because they couldn’t solve a problem with any of your returns/receipts/card issues, then please do yourself a favor and shop at this Publix instead. I’ve been to all the other Publix stores in Kissimmee but this is the only one where there has never been an issue. The staff here is professional and they’re also just chill people.This is the only Publix in a ten mile radius where employees actually help you if you have a problem. I’m not sure if this makes sense, but this Publix doesn’t give you that inner feeling of anxiousness that you get when you walk into one of the more tourist-y Publix stores. When you walk in here, you feel more relaxed.

Comment: Amazing service! 9 am, Sunday July 23, 2023 I preorder chicken for a family gathering. I went in about 1 hour earlier to see if I could change the order. The chef came out to talk to me and I ask him if I could have 100 fried chicken wings instead of the fried chicken. He said yes and said it would be ready in a few minutes. The entire staff behind the counter was amazing. I shopped and came back for my order and it was waiting for me in the hot box or warmer. Everyone complimented me on the food and Kept asking where did I buy it from. We had gather in Florida from around the country to celebrate as a family. This was my first encounter with Publix. The staff was so gracious and kind. The chef was amazing. The chicken was fried and seasoned just right. I’ll update with a photo. This Publix was at John Young Parkway.

Comment: Come here very often.Yes the prices for most items are a bit higher then at some stores, but the convenience as well as the cleanness is worth the bus trip to a cheaper store.One thing I do like very much so about this store, they are always cycling some type of deals of buy one get one deals. To be fair its normally on overstock or soon to expire products (normally 4 months or more before best by date)The only reason I dont give it a full 5 star is because sometimes, the reviews talking about bad customer service are correct. Not everyone that works at a store this big are always bright and cheerful. With that said, most all the regular workers I personally see are generally pleasant and helpful

I had items I needed to exchange which had been purchased at another location, but had misplaced my receipt. Customer Service was exceedingly helpful and pleasant, and management (which was needed to approve of my no-receipt exchange) was friendly and professional. Also, both my exchange and checkout experiences were quick and efficient.

Comment: The majority of the employees are wearing masks which makes me feel comfortable since I recently recovered from Covid.I had to inform a cashier that juices, meats, milk, sodas, water or any heavy items should always be doubled bagged.

Comment: Always clean, always well stocked, always full of friendly employees. Beautiful produce. Full bakery selection. Every time I have asked someone to help me locate an item (because no 2 Publixs are set up the same...facepalm...), they have always walked me over to the item. Everyone is so well informed in that store. The restroom is always clean, too. Ive never had to wait in line too long, they always seem to have enough registers open. Its so nice to shop somewhere where I dont have to check myself out. They certainly know how to make shopping a pleasure!

Comment: This store is amazing! Because of its employees. Publix service always stands out, but this location especially. Shivy and Kristin were so patient with my complicated checkout where method of payment kept failing to the point of contacting customer support. Kristin even kept my loaded grocery cart in the cooler I while I resolved the payment issue. Susan and Marcel were also great and compassionate knowing what I just went through when I returned just for couple more items. They also have a cool manager Eric that I’ve run into couple years ago. Here’s your overdue shoutout. This kind of service and empathy makes me overlook Publix high prices. Thank you guys for your awesomeness!

Comment: Publix Supermarket is always A shopping store that you know Shopping is A Pleasure.I have visited many Publix Supermarkets through out my time living in Florida. This store off of John Young Parkway is no exception compared to all the others I have shopped in. The store is always clean once you enter, and theres always A store employee cleaning baskets, and carts all the time. The produce is superb in everyway, and the meat department is never A let down. There products are very organized, and there is always A helping employee to help whenever you need it. Please dont ever feel bad to ask A question, because the Publix employees will happily help out whenever needed... Unlike A big brand store chain.. *cough! Walmart. The Deli sells there Florida Legendary Fried Chicken, and Legendary Subs!!! If youre reading this fully, and have never experience those two Legendary items... GO NOW!!!!!!!!All in all... Comment: Its my favorite supermarket . I went to buy pumpkin there was none on the shelf the only thing they had was a whole pumpkin. Jorge assisted me and said dont worry i will cut the size you need . This young man was very helpful and professional . Comment: Went to this publix and the same full of people with no social distance. Tney have no control in how many people are in so they are letting everybody in. Wal-Mart is controlling the amount of people going inside the store. I got so scare and left. I went to save a lot for my fruits and vegetables instead.

Comment: Friendly staff easy to get in get what you need and get out without any problems. I do love the specials they offer as well buy one get one free, buy two get one free or when they have prices low. Also publix is one of the only stores i know that i can get lactaid brand ice-cream or chocolate milk at which both are delicious even if you are not lactose intolerant. That and they stock bushs chili magic which is a great starter for chili and i cant find it anywhere but publix.

Comment: Its your typical medium sized Publix Supermarket. They never stand around if there is a line, I have seen the supervisors and managers jump in when needed, even helping bring in carts. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and of the two items so far that they did not have, they got some in for me in less than a week when I would have drove to another location. Never that busy when I go, definitely one of my favorite locations.

Comment: I come here all the time just for the bakery. But the people who work here are very kind in all departments, and you can often find some good deals that could inspire your dinner when you cant come up with anything. It can get crowded on weekends and holidays, so try to go before then if you can.

Comment: Almost always friendly people and culturally centered. Made a few friends here. They do remember their customers. But not alot of breaks or discounts on things that deserve a discount. Expiring next day for example. Otherwise very friendly and has mostly anything you are looking for.
