The pharmacists went out of their way to get the medication for him and kept me informed at every step. I am very grateful for their care. They didnt make any difference that the prescription was for a canine. They worked very hard to get him the meds in a timely fashion. Thank you.

The store is extremely clean, and there is a great selection of produce as well as indulgences like four cheese mushroom ravioli. But recently at Publix I have discovered they carry this product called cotton candy grapes. I naively believed this was a marketing ploy, as for such an advocate of cotton candy as I could not believe grapes could be as succulent as the nostalgia of freshly spun cotton candy. Luckily, I decided to throw caution to wind, and bought a medium sized bag of cotton candy grapes. THOSE ARE THE BEST GRAPES EVER AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I NEED TO BUY MORE.

Comment: Friendly place to shop. Cashiers and floor staff are friendly. I shop here since summerport was built. I have visited other Publix stores in the area but I find that this one unlike the others has lived up to the Publix brand.

Comment: Someone told me I should look at the reviews for my local Publix store - the Summerport at Cornerstone one. So I did and boy was I gobsmacked when I read a review about Amanda L. I dont know who this Frederick Joseph is - but dude (if you are a dude) take a chill pill. First, Amanda is the most non-racist person youll meet. She grew up a military child and has had a mixture of different races around her for her entire life. Secondly, if you had a problem you should have gone to a Manager and said something - which is what most people with an IQ over 90 would do. Third - your high and mightiness why didnt you go through the line like MOST people do. The Customer Service Desk isnt your personal check out line. Last - you are obviously not who you say you are - you dont write like a man - you write like a woman. You are probably a totally vindictive B***CH who knows Amanda or worked with her and you have an ax to grind. You took the cowards way out and posted something so hateful and untrue - I hope Amanda has a front row seat when Karma bites you squarely in your RACIST - LYING - BULLYING ARSE!!!!

Comment: My review is in reference to the complete one-sided review that Joseph Frederick gave about his experience at the Publix at Summerport. After reading his unjustified vilification of the customer service representative, Amanda Leonard, I about threw my computer through the window in disgust. How someone can just make a charge against someone, ...there was no question about it that lady (Amanda) was racist, is beyond me. Just because Mr. Frederick didnt get what HE wanted, when HE wanted & how HE wanted doesnt make someone a racist because she didnt snap to attention when he walked up to the help desk. It sounds to me that Mr. Frederick is an extremely selfish, self-centered, self-entitled man with a very large chip on his shoulder with an ax to grind. Its people like Mr. Frederick that will always make everything about race and never move on. I wonder if hes ever worked in a high traffic customer service related industry, like Amanda has been for a long time. Mr. Frederick, maybe you should take a very long look in the mirror and maybe youll see who the true racist is....YOU!!!!! Publix, and other stores like it, need more hard working, respectable and honest people like Amanda working for them

Comment: This is directed at joseph frederick and his passive aggressive racist review ....so because the lady behind the customer service counter was distracted she must be racist. Its all about perception and making assumptions about people. You have no clue what else was going on outside your bubble. Maybe she was scanning the cashiers because she had to give a break, maybe she was looking for a manager because a shoplifter was walking out AGAIN, maybe she just got spit on by someone returning an empty walmart laundry detergent container, who insists she is a moron and it was purchased at that store, maybe it was the day her dog died, or maybe it was the day a dear friend committed suicide. Yes, those last 2 are personal and God forbid she didnt check her feelings at the door because you needed your sandwich faster. Or maybe it wasnt AMANDA L., just because your receipt says so doesnt make it so. See, when she has to walk away and help bag or get a manager, her till remains open in her name, so anyone else there could have rung you up and the receipt would print her name. The point is, if you had bothered to use your voice (instead of being a coward and typing on a keyboard), she would have profusely apologized for ignoring you. Amanda is my daughter, so yes, you can say I am biased. But I do know her, you dont. And believe me, I could call her a lot of names and racist isnt one. You dont get to label someone racist when you couldnt be bothered to address the situation at the time. The only racist in this equation is you. Please by all means, bring on a civil suit because you didnt get your deli sandwich fast enough.

Comment: What a great store full of great staff, the customer service is top notch! I got the popcorn chicken I spilled it all over the floor while I was shopping. I began cleaning it and a polite employee, maybe a manager, insisted on cleaning it up. Then she went and got me a new container of chicken and found me shopping and brought it to me. I love that type of customer service!Its service like this that makes me a loyal Publix customer! Great job!
