Comment: Ive been visiting this Pubix since its conversion from an Albertsons some years ago. Most of the staff is most accommodating except with one their mangers, I refer to him as Squirrelly. He walks around like a tired princess, suspect he might anemic. Evidently, his promotion into management didnt include weighing in fundamental customer/ people skills. The rest have always been most helpful. The pharmacy within the store is a whole different story! Twice Ive used them, I would NEVER recommend that pharmacy! You can call and call, the phone just rings and rings. Eventually, the tech picks up. If their out of a specific med or need to order. In my case, it took 4 days ( dropped script on Thurs, call back on Tuesday mid morning) and many calls before I was finally informed they only dispense a similar formulated tablet. I asked for contact info of area Mgr, called, left message. Its been 6 to 9 months, and Im still waiting for him to reply. Long lines at the registar are common,as are long waits. Small pharmacy filling high volume number of scripts. They were slow before, now they give shots too! The hot side of the deli begins to shut down after 5pm dinner rush. Not the place for a box of Publix fried chicken at 8pm when youre running late and hungry.

Comment: I have shopped at different Publix locations for decades, and the Publix at Curry Ford Square is by far the cleanest and best managed that I have ever experienced. The food is rotated properly and I never stumble upon something out of date. The produce is all so fresh I dont have to spend 10 minutes picking each veggie, I can grab and go and it will be perfect! Whatever I am looking for in the way of international foods they always have plenty in stock. The cooks in the bakery are the best, they have that special touch! And I cant leave out the fresh meat, deli and sushi departments, all top notch! Every one on the staff is eager to help with a happy face and as I leave with my treasures and pass the 1 or 2 or more managers and team leaders standing by to make sure all went well for me and to thank me for shopping there, it is I myself who goes out the door thanking them for such an awesome experience! Bravo Publix Andover!

Comment: Good spot. Along with Publix, there is pich-a-penny, a Chinese food place, and Super Cuts in the shopping center. There is also Starbucks at the entrance of the shopping center. The adjacent shopping center has Ferraras pizza, Subway, a barber shop, a florist, a karate place, another Chinese food place, and Trustco bank. Across from the shopping center, there is Aldi. There are also two gas stations.

Comment: As most typically are, Publix is getting more expensive and as a result Ill keep my reviews at 4 stars simply because there are multiple other options. But for what they offer outside of standard groceries, subs, premade items, bakery, etc. and their quality of produce, theyre great. Staff at this location was friendly as well so good on them for that too. Only gripe besides price is the parking lot, no easy way to head south on Young Pine without going through the back lot.

I grabbed cherry tomatoes and a gentleman named Jerry working in produce saw them in my cart, approached me and recommended I try the sugar bomb cherries. It was locally farmed and he said they tasted amazing and has been recommending them to everyone who grabs some cherry tomatoes. He was extremely nice and helpful, he definitely deserves some kind of recognition for his amazing customer service!

Its very bright and clean, plenty of parking, and I love the convenience of ordering from the deli on line, the lines are almost always long because the food is worthy, but I can order and pick up in an hour. Comment: Wet sidewalks, covered with oak leaves make a slip and fall hazard. I reported the walkway to a manager, and a week later I returned, the sidewalk was dry. The manager promised he would report it to maintenance and follow up to see that it was repaired with haste. Appreciated!

Comment: I 100% love this location. Its right around the corner for convenience but lets be honest, its Publix! How can you not like shopping here. Always stocked up, fresh EVERYTHING, friendly associates, clean etc. I cant speak for other locations but Im sure they are just like this. It would be nice to have a bigger selection in the International aisle but you really cannot ding them for that.

Comment: Friendly atmosphere and very clean. Employees all wearing masks and safety is key there. Disinfectant wipes at the entrance and exit and plenty of check out lines to meet busy needs. Overall a pleasant experience to shop here.

Comment: This publix has everything you need. Has a toy section also. Its not big. If you want a bigger selection, I would recommend going somewhere else. It has a med section. I love this place and been going here for 7 to 8 years. It has a very nice deli place. I love the ham and turkey. Especially the honey and maple ones.

Comment: It was great. The only downside was that I specifically went to buy chicken wings for my kids at the Deli and they had to drop them to be fried. What initially was a 20 minutes wait, when I came back I was told there was 12 more minutes to wait. Unless my watchs chronometer played me a trick, I think the guy was tied up helping out with something else and didnt drop them immediately. It ended being a 32 minutes wait, but you know what, it was worthy! The flavor was excellent and they were properly cooked. You cant rush excellence. Probably for next time I will call before showing up to avoid the long wait.

Comment: Publix is my kind of place to shop. I have been a Publix shopper and advocate since 1975. This was actually my first job and it has truly left a long lasting positive influence on where I shop. However, this location is one of the best to buy groceries. Why? Because of the Manager there named Lorenzo. My family recently had a tragic and sudden death in the family and I knew that I could depend on Lorenzo to come to our assistance with making sure that my family had food prepared to feed the family during this time. I want to thank Lorenzo and his friendly staff in the deli for coming through like no other. Lorenzo, you are the best!Publix...my kind of place!

Comment: Ever since Florida reopened in May I have made an effort to go out to Publix personally. I go maybe 3x a month. It’s now July. I have WIC. At the cash register WIC is kind enough to spit out a receipt detailing what I started with and a receipt detailing my ending balance, in addition to the usual Publix itemized receipt. Nowadays, I want to say half of the visits I make for WIC, the cashier, for some inexplicable reason, opt to toss out my WIC receipts instead of at least asking if I want them. I mean why? Just hand the customer their papers that you don’t care for because those papers are meant for the customer anyway. Some people actually need those papers y’all deem useless. Please and thank you.

Comment: My friend accidentally forgot her case of white claw in the cart which is tragic and expensive error for sure. The manager was very helpful and took care of us when we went back. I hope that last case of claws made it to someone who could really use a claw kind of day.

Comment: Sometimes they dont handle lines well but overall pretty good - especially during COVID - but they did their best, and they kept it clean as they could ...this is one of the closer supermarkets to my house so I like coming here and will keep doing so! I just wish the lines in the middle of the afternoon were handled a bit better

Comment: I was so excited to see that Publix at Curry Ford Square has several varieties of Plant Pure frozen dinners! I dont do Frozen meals because they are usually unhealthy but I keep these vegan, healthy dinners on hand for nights there is no time to cook. My family loves picking from the delicious varieties.

Went back the next day for specials I had seen and the opening crew were just wonderful as the closing crew were. My favorite Publix.

Comment: I had to get a cake for 2 of my nephews and my daughter-in-law whos birthdays were during the month of April. I initially called your store and spoke to Richard on 04/27/15. He was very professional, awesome, and very helpful in helping me get my cake together as far as the kind of cake, the frosting flavor, the design, etc, He guided me through the whole process and took note of all the details I wanted on the confection of my cake. We wrapped it up and placed the order for my cake. A few minutes later I just showed up at your store and asked for Richard. He came to me and again we went through the order again and asked Amber to answer a few questions we had in regards to the order. She was very busy but still she took her time and answered all my questions in regards to the order, colors to be used, etc.On Wednesday the 29th I called your store early in the morning I called your store and spoke with Janet and made several changes to my order in regards to flavors, colors, etc, at no time did Janet expressed any frustration, or displayed any attitude towards my changes and desperation as I was very nervous and wanted my cake to be the best cake ever....again, she was very patient, considerate, and understanding and made the changes and even suggested some tips as she noticed how nervous I was in regards to the order. We finally (after all my back and forth) wrapped up the order.When I went to pick up the cake on Saturday Janet was there to hand me the cake. When I saw the cake I almost cried after seeing what a beautiful cake your team of employees created for me. I have never seen a cake so beautiful in my entire life. When I arrived home with the cake everyone was amazed with the cake and after eating our birthday dinner and the time came to cut the cake and we started eating it everyone just kept on saying how good, delicious, moist, and great the cake was. I got nothing but compliments not only from the birthday gang (my 2 nephews and my daughter-in-law) but also from my guests at the party.You guys did great....you guys made me feel the happiest human being walking on two feet, you guys made me the star of the party!!!!! Your guys are great!!!! Your guys are awesome!!!!!I would like you your upper management to take notice of this compliment and reward you for it because you guys made the difference, you guys devoted yourselves to my order and delivered a final product beyond my expectations.I will always remember you Richard, Amber, and Janet for your professionalism, your dedication, your listening skills, but most of all for your special attention to details during the process of my order.I will always order my cakes from your store and will pass down a great word of mouth so that everyone I know that needs a cake for a special occasion that you guys are the best and that they can count on you for that special occasion just like I know I can!!!!
