Comment: I live very close to the Publix at Disston Plaza.. This store has everything. They aexpensive though, compared to other grocers in the area. I suggest that one needs to get the main things at Walmart, but get the special items at Publix. They are extremely clean, you could eat off the floor and the folks that work there are very accommodating and kind. The way store personnel ought to be. For those of you that ride bicycles, like I do, they offer a bike rack with a roll cage! That means you can roll your bike into the cage and roll the door down, licking your bike inside where no one can steal your bike lights or whatever! Attach your lock to the door and enjoy shopping, knowing that your bike and accessories are 100% safe.! Love this concept.

Comment: This Publix generally has a good stock of everything its easy to find what youre looking for. They also have a good selection of prepared foods and the deli is good. The meat department is awesome and will break and repackage a larger package of meat if you want something smaller. Ive not been impressed with the pharmacy here, but use it so infrequently that has no bearing.The only horrible thing about this Publix is the parking lot; it is a charlie foxtrot! When they renovated the store they reworked the parking lot and created one big traffic jam. Best to get in and out at the traffic light on 49th Street.

Comment: This is a fabulous grocery store. They carry a huge variety of foods, anything you could want. Fresh fruits and seafood from Florida and elsewhere. Many store-prepared meals to cook at home plus deli, bakery, hot prepared food, fresh prepared sushi, etc. But theyre not cheap. A gallon of milk is $4.95 vs $3.06 at Walmart, but water is cheaper at Publix. I would give it a 4.8 if I could.

Comment: The only dark spot in this store is the black cloud area that surrounds the deli. the deli employees dont seem to want to be there. and their service in this area stinks. Be prepared to wait and to be ignored. That being said. You just cant beat Publixs deli or their Bakery. Other than that this store is clean. The cashiers and front end employees have always been helpful and polite. This store has accommodations for handicapped people and they offer curb side pickup . Comment: This is my store 🙂. I live a few blocks down the road and go there sometimes twice a week. Cant say anything bad about Publix. Who doesnt love Publix? Always a pleasant experience shopping here. Publix usually has what I need and Im happy. Its a clean store and the employees are usually kind and courteous.

Comment: I use the publix phone app, so the coupons are easy to use, ny list is sorted by aisle, pay by scanning, with email receipt.Disston is clean. I like this footprint (bakery & produce to immediate right) . They are late adopter of self check out, but friendly staff.

Comment: I was in the store this morning about 930. I have no use of 1 arm. I was in produce and a kind employee helped me when he saw me struggling with opening a produce bag. Informed me someone can help me shop. I didnt get his name but he was very kind. As I moved to the meat dept another kind employee helped me put my chuck roast in a plastic bag. . Very kind employees. I wish now I got their names

Comment: Probably the friendliest people I have ever met work at this Publix! Always stop in after work to grocery shop. A huge plus for me personally is that the popcorn chicken is always available. The model grocery store here!

Comment: This is a great Publix, its convenient for most, and it was recently remodeled. One of the things I have learned, over the years, about Publix Supermarket is that they put a lot of emphasis on Customer Service. It almost seems as if management requires that the employees check their bad behaviors at the door. And pick it up when you leave the store. That comment doesnt mean that while I was in the store an employee showed bad behavior. It simply means that Publix Supermarket takes pride in giving GOOD Customer Service consistently.

Comment: The one thing that my wife was disappointed about was the bakerys White Chocolate and Raspberry cake(didnt care for the batter). Selection is also getting weird here and elsewhere. Why so many Tres Leches cakes? I understand the surrounding culture, but Im Hispanic and have never seen such a stockpile. Cant get much of anything else.

This store is always spotless!; the self check out also!; I drive a kia soul, so its never an issue finding a safe parking place, & thankfully everyone driving outside was cautious with individuals with full carts & the children still in the carts!

Joseph stopped what he was doing to look for the bogo water special that they were out of on the water isle ...found me (as I mosied over 2 Isles lol) with 4 bottles in his arms! I tell ya..Ive ALWAYS been impressed with the customer service at Publix but..this one took the cake! Thanks Joseph! 😊 keep up the good work and youll go far young man ☺👍

Comment: We shop at Publix weekly and are always pleased. The staff is friendly and helpful and the BOGOs are the best! I was especially pleased with the help that I recently received from the bakery manager at this location. I am a teacher at a school for students with special needs and I was looking for something very specific for my kids. Paul Waters was very helpful and I am so thankful! Im always impressed with Publixs willingness to help the community.

Comment: My favorite Publix! Partly because Sarah at the fish section is the nicest person, and she is very picky about getting you perfect fish- she once grabbed a piece of salmon for me, then said she didnt like it, and got a different one. I actually found a manager to tell about her. Shes also great to talk to while she prepares your stuff.I appreciate that the manager listened to me and was kind enough to give me a moment during a busy hour when I told him how great Sarah was.We now drive extra to go to this store.

Comment: This is my favorite Publix! They always have fresh produce, deli, and bakery items. Seasonal bakery items are always available such as cup cakes, mini cakes and more. For Halloween they had adorable Halloween themed mini cakes. I purchased the sugar skull mini cake and cup cakes. It went well with our pre-halloween themed bbq. Its always clean and the workers are always so nice and helpful. Thank you for being my local publix :)

The aisles are really wide, the deli area is beautiful and perfect for shopping in.I will ONLY SHIP HERE when I need Publix even though there are several much closer to me. I asked for whole salmon fillets she got them for me , this was the 2nd Publix that I went to just for salmon & I am on crutches so this lady was so very kind to me I felt very blessed & was happily on my way. Comment: Best produce in area. Variety of good is greater than other popular grocery stores because they do not limit to only high selling items. Customer service is good. Store always clean. Carts for disabled are charged and available. Pharmacy is helpful. Costs more than some other supermarkets but worth it. Quality goods versus cheap goods.

Bill, is kind, courteous, loves his family/Publix/Coworkers & has empathy for the current state of our society, hes a great asset to the Publix Team💯 I Found all my items on my list. Great prices. Selections are always abundant & savings. 🆘Only drawback was parking lot - even though its fairly new it could stand an overhaul because stop signs are in wrong place, trying to maneuver corners is a VERY tight and a nightmare & pedestrian traffic is very unsafe!!!🆘

Comment: Beautiful store: well lit, well stocked, wide aisles and clean. Employees were friendly and helpful. I walked around after using their restroom facilities. Clean bathroom, adequately stocked, and in working order. I had to use a restroom, and Publix was nearby and safe. I’m glad I had to stop. This was a really nice store!I was impressed inside and outside. Outside, I don’t recall a nearby Publix having secure bicycle parking, or spots just for motorcycles. The signs about “No employee parking between signs” showed a deference to their customers. The store was busy, and everyone seemed to be adhering to CDC guidelines during this pandemic. My usual a Publix stores are 3 in Palm Harbor, nest my home. But I was in the area visiting a friend.If you get a flu shot (Already??), remember to get your $10 gift card. And I wonder if I should take the mask off when using the ATM?

Comment: Great staff, stocking clerk asking if we were finding everything okay. Produce clerk knowledgeable about the reason a product brand has been substituted. 1970s style store and layout brought back fond memories of times past. Easy to navigate, not too big, not too small.
