Comment: Update 12/07/2023: I saw much improvement since I last wrote this. I had the pleasure of dealing with Ella in the deli who was the most patient and nicest when making my sub. Others can learn from her by example. Im back to being a happy customer.---The deli sandwich station is usually very messy and the deli staff is short-staffed, short-tempered, rude and unprofessional. They just slap the sandwich together with no love whatsoever. Wheres the love? They should learn a thing or two from the other successful departments. The other departments are excellent, like the meat and seafood department. How are the other departments able to hit 5 stars and the deli hit so low? How do the delis at other Publix stores do so well? Do better. Start with a better attitude. I think there are tons of people looking for work that would be happy to have a job and do it with a smile!

Meats and deli counter alsonwell stocked.. some employees were friendly other smirked when I said goodmorning. Some people 🙄. Check out counters were self checkout. With only 2 employees working check out llanes with 4 to 5 deep customers waiting

Your work does not go unnoticed. I have delivered for over 20 years to your warehouses as a Truck driver with my business and was really impressed at your convenient,easy access and location. With the homeless rate increasing and the loitering we understand its beyond anyones control when we make it to and from our cars to shop with you. The only issue I would have is that the temperature is always 3-4 degrees below the normal which makes the shopping in the cold less comfortable.

Comment: I love Sunrise Blvd West but drive all the way to this Publix pharmacy simply because I love the pharmacy staff. They really make you feel important. The staff in all the departments have no problem going an extra mile to get what you are looking for. I wanted a southern Cobb salad 🥗 but the young lady was still assembling them she had no issue finishing one for me. The same thing happened with the chicken tender sandwich.

My only concern was being in the mens wash room and watching two male employees use the bathroom, then walk straight out the bathroom door without washing their hands. Yikes. I went about my shopping and again saw said employees. One was stocking shelves, one had put on working gloves and was moving boxes. Certainly not the hygiene you want to see at a grocery store.

It is walking distance from Sonesta Ft Lauderdale (about 0.8 miles) which makes it ideal for stocking up on food for the beach/room.The store is smaller than most Publixs I have been in but still wasnt too crowded. It is a clean and well stocked store with a wide selection of alcohol. The deli didnt have chicken tenders when I ordered them in the evening (around 6-7pm) and that was my only complaint.

Comment: Too many empty shelves!!! Common needs like half and half , cream cheese and romaine lettuce were not unavailable. Spoke to an employee who stated that they are not getting enough inventory for some things so theyre sold out by mid day. I was very disappointed in todays trip to the store. I hope things improve soon.

Comment: As always,very friendly staff and all the courtesies and quality items that you come to trust in the Publix experience. The only drawback, this is a smaller store with a somewhat scaled down selection. All of your staple items are there, it just may be the niche and particulars that may not be stocked at this Publix.

Comment: We shop regularly at this store and love everything about it—great bakery, wonderful sushi, fish and meat, terrific produce and really good sales. Store is small, but it contains all we want. The checkers are stars and if you are lucky, you will get one of the twins. The baggers are always very helpful. What prompts this review in particular is the stellar assistance of customer service representative Eric. Even though it was late Christmas Eve and the store was jammed, Eric saved us with his unsolicited help in getting our car bumper unstuck from the parking curb. He rustled up some firewood, without any charge, brought it out to us, and helped us use it to lift the car up from the curb as we backed up. He could not have been more resourceful, enthusiastic and kind. He literally saved our Christmas joy. Eric is the best and I hope Publix rewards him! We will always be loyal customers.

Comment: It’s very busy publix . It’s not a very large store but it’s almost have everything like any other publix . I think May be it has better fresh produce than nearby publix . Cashiers are very nice and friendly and my favorite are the twin sisters at the register they are always smiling and very helpful.

Comment: Small Publix compared to the one about a mile west of it but the staff here is absolutely wonderful. I was straggling late night looking for cotton candy for my kids and a gentleman from either meats or bakery was strolling through and asked me if I needed help. To my amaze he knew exactly where the snack was at. Putting the customer #1 thank you sir! I will travel the extra mile to go to this Publix.

Good option if you need something close to the beach for some quick meals/snacks.

Comment: I didnt buy anything, only used the restroom, because being a bus driver leaves very little options now that covid has taken over. Many places are afraid to let anyone use the restrooms or they lie and tell you there put of order. This publix is nice clean and organized. Seem like they were out of some tissue products the shelf was bare.

Comment: I love my Publix! Everyone is so friendly. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and well displayed. The shelves are always stocked. Sometimes they dont have exactly what youre looking for, but will order it..not always reliable. The only thing I HATE is that people bring their pets into the grocery store. Leave your dogs at home. They cant all be service dogs. People have allergies to pet hair and I dont want it on my produce. But it is not the fault of the employees.

He was busy restocking babanas when I asked him where coconut water is located, he left what he was doing and took me to where its located. When I turn around he handed me a basket for my items. Comment: As a South Florida native, Ive had the pleasure of visiting many different Publix many, many times. The Galleria Publixs been my go-to grocery store since it opened a few years ago. This Publix feels a bit more efficient in space than others, as it doesnt seem as big as the Publix in Pompano. Thats not to say its missing anything from the typical Publix experience. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful; there must be some sort of rule that if a customer walks within a few feet of a worker they must warmly welcome them or face the pit! Its hard to pick out a particular department or employee there to highlight, as they are all so great. The only reason I didnt give this Publix a fifth star was it doesnt have a liquor store like one of the other FTL locations. Careful not to take the carts past the yellow line in the parking lot, or they get very, very stuck!

Comment: I rate this 4 star because the location is close to me, staff is friendly and food is generally fresh and well presented. Ambiance is good and service is excellent. This is a smaller store, however, so selection is limited. Prices are high-ish (esp on produce) except for 2-for-1 deals, which often are good deals. Seafood counter staff could use some training, but if you know what you want and ask for it, theyll try to help you.
