Comment: I wish I lived closer to this Publix. Its no ordinary Publix. It has a Pour pub for drinks while you shop. It also has a gourmet popcorn station. On top of those gems, it has wing, pizza, salad, pasta, and sandwich bars as well. Its very clean and the staff is amazingly friendly. Like I said, I wish it was close to my home!!!

Comment: I used to go to a store called Wegmans when I lived up north and have missed it so much. I havent been able to find anything close to it until now. A couple days ago I happened to be in the area and saw this Publix. I was hungry and I figured I could eat a quick sandwich. When I walked in I questioned if I had entered the right store. First impression, I was blown away. You can see everything you want to see from the moment you walk in. I saw green everywhere, if not mistaken the floors are dark so my eyes stayed looking up and front. Like someone else said in the comments its like the Disney land of grocery stores haha. The designers of this store understand the psychology of marketing because the layout and colors are meant to attract you. This is not a basic Publix this is a Publix hybrid plus lol. Thank you to the great team that created this. I live so far away but am going to make the sacrifice to come here again but this time with my family crew. I want another dose of Disney!

Comment: I really want to talk about how much I love this Publix because I honestly hated this grocery store with a passion before this new concept opened, partly because of their prices and partly because of who they donate to.. The bogos are amazing, but what really gets me is the Pours and the ramen. I really cannot express how much I disliked going to Publix before this local new concept opened. Every single bartender they have in the Pours Cafe is absolutely top notch. Please make sure you drop a few dollars and walk away so they get a tip. Please also get the ramen because it is very very fresh. They also have over 10 beers on tap that rotate basically daily. You literally cannot go wrong for $5 beers.

Also the brick oven style pizza bar, the taco and burrito bars are both yummy! But my fave by far is the sushi bar, its not all sushi either.. you can get Ramen and other stuff as well. No matter what its always a quick and wonderful experience

They have a pizza bar, wrap bar, expanded deli, coffee bar, sushi bar, full size bakery like the old day but bigger and more. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a larger Publix either, and I’ve been in many all over the south. Customer service was top notch as usual. Parking was easy too. Comment: I come into this Publix often as it is so close to where I live and though I regularly have good experiences this morning, I had an outstanding one. Heather (from self checkout) went above and beyond for me. She saw my hands full of bags and took the initiative to go and grab a large bag, fill it up for me, while chatting with me and making me feel welcomed and greeted. This is not a luxury we often see anymore and I wanted to make sure I went above and beyond for her with a shoutout for the experience she provided. I will obviously be back, but I especially hope to encounter Heather again!

Comment: Miss the old layout but this flagship location is growing on me. They put a pub in Publix! Great to get a beer to make shopping a pleasure with the kids! Aisles and perimeter are smartly laid out and the shopping cart traffic patterns are less conjested. Love the pre-fix food options for different days. They also have an upgraded sushi bar, pizzeria, taco/burrito bar, deli, and bakery. The meat section also seems to have a better variety of premium cuts. Self check out lanes for smaller grocery runs are clutch!

Comment: Update (5/16) - still an overall great grocery store. More attention needs to be paid to the prepared food counters. The ramen counter is incredibly slow and rather lacking in ingredients. The taco/burrito bowl option is very overpriced for what you get. Much smaller bowls than youd get at Moes or Chipotle and the ingredients are bland and not as fresh.Newly remodeled/built. Large amount of prepared food to go (ramen, sushi, pizza, burritos, subs, etc). Nice addition is that they offer coffee, beer, and wine for consumption in store while shopping.

Comment: Nice to see Publix in South Tampa Gandy/Himes finally open again, even though its bigger and more than I can handle in one visit with me being disabled. I prefer not to use an electric scooter. I use the cart and use the handle for support. Even with that, the store is too much for walking, even when I want to walk and be in a safe place. Publix is always clean, and the staff is pretty friendly. One thing is that they never have enough cashiers on registers. I definitely dont WANT to use self checkout. After walking as much as I can, I dont want to wait 5/6 people in line when they have 2/3 registers open with cashiers. When we went the last time, we asked for double paper, light weight, and the cashier bagged double plastic. When my husband repeated, she misunderstood, and she would have to go get paper bags. Why didnt she have paper bags already opened and stocked? Why werent there any baggers on hand? This, to me, is a management issue that needs to be addressed!! Hopefully, the registers/cashiers can be resolved along with a bagger. Publix is a great place to shop!

First is the deli department with sections for pizza, pasta, popcorn, burritos, nachos, and specialty cheeses. Second is the cafe with an on-site bar. Third and last is there are 2 seating areas, one at the bar and another at the stores second floor with stairs and elevator access.

They have the “Carribbean mixed fruit bowl” that has papaya, kiwi, mangos, & pineapples that is so amazing but they’re the only Publix store I’ve been to that carries them...I also love the LaColombe coffee drinks and it seems like Publix is the only store carrying this brand. They have the best selection of food, fresh meat/veggies/fruits, etc. that I don’t mind paying a little more for it, but they do have weekly sales too! The hot food/deli sections have a variety of cheaper, healthier options than eating at a fast food/restaurant all the time during lunch break. Their employees are all so helpful and friendly, and will even ask if u need help carrying groceries out but they won’t accept tips. It’s always pleasant talking with them; checkout is always fast and efficient; and parking spaces are awesome too! :)

Comment: Wow. An experience like none other. A friend referred me here to get flowers for an important ceremony. The florist on staff is amazing. It is clear she takes pride and care and what she does. Her memory will make you feel like youre the only customer who has ever shopped there. Then I went over to the bakery section. The two men there were awesome. They were kind, nice, and funny. It made shopping for this important and seemingly stressful experience calming and enjoyable. They even cracked a few jokes to make me laugh. I then went to check out with a woman named Daisy, and a bagger name Charles. Love these two have for life was evident. I know its just the shopping experience to get a few things but I left there so happy and glad that I went that I stopped at the customer service counter to let them know that I will be writing this review and posting photos. I hope that this makes you want to stop in and experience this place as much as I had going there.

Comment: This is the nicest Publix I have ever seen. Every Publix I have been to has been clean and has great deals and a friendly staff. This Publix is over the top. It has a feel like they are trying to compete with whole foods. Theres an espresso bar up front with gelato! The end caps and check out shelves are full of healthy items as well. You can find fresh veggies and healthier drinks there whereas other supermarkets typically stock up on the junk food only in those places. They have great displays here and the bakery was full of great looking bread. Ill try to shop here if I have time after work.
