So publics got lucky that I took such a nice happy shot of their current display. Comment: Might be the best Publix store Ive shopped in while living in FL.Unfortunately cant say the same for the pharmacy in this store. On several occasions while attempting to fill prescriptions I was treated very rudely by the staff as well as the pharmacist!

Comment: Shelli in the Deli department at Store 1361 (Powerline & Palmetto Roads) made my day yesterday. Her careful, neat preparation of my sandwich and her cheerfulness brightened my afternoon. Publix employees in general are helpful and nice, but Shelli was above and beyond.Ive started to make Publixs weekly hoagie special my go to Friday night/Saturday afternoon meal of choice. Im a white bread person, but their multigrain roll with its taste and texture makes every hoagie taste even better.Kudos, Publix.

Comment: This Store is great. I remember what it looked like prior to the remodel and I have to say that they did a fantastic job. The Store is very clean, staff is friendly and helpful, shelves are fully stocked, Vegetables and Fruit are Fresh but, a little high. The Store is handicapped accessible, there is handicapped parking spots and, they have motorized scooters too. They do need more scooters though for the handicapped people. The Deli department looks nice but need more Employees because they seem to work very slowly back there. Other than that, its a Great Store to do your Food Shopping in. The only thing which Im Disappointed in is that they Dont Carry Bailey Irish Cream Flavored Coffee Creamer. They used to carry it but have stopped, please bring it back. Winn Dixie is the only one that does carry it.

Comment: This location is always great. This experience particularly was even better. Went to pick up a cake for my mothers birthday without knowing If theyd have it. I was greeted immediately at the bakery and had them made and ready to go. Took a whole five minutes in and out. Loved it

Comment: I am a fanatic when it comes to clean windows and doors. If they are dirty I wont even walk in. This store is clean and shine inside out. Friendly personnel. Management always walking throughout the store. Great fresh veggies and fruit, well rotated. I love to check dairy dates and, well rotated. Displays in the isles can be difficult to get through in the smaller stores. Overall very pleased. A little more pricey than competitors from talking to friends. The above is more important to me than price.

Comment: We stopped in on our way to Miami to buy a sunpass. We didnt realize toll roads no longer used cash and we were on the verge of panic on how to get to our destination. One of the male baggers there saw my frustrations and offered our toddler a coloring page, crayons, a sticker, and told us to get a free cookie from bakery. He was so nice! Then he helped us figure out the whole sunpass thing, since weve never used it before. He has no clue how he helped me check my panic and save our first family vacation! Kicking myself for not getting his name but the customer service cashier was named Alexis, she was also helpful and might know who Im talking about. Who ever you are, thank you! After a 3 hour car trip you helped us focus and get back on track 🙂

Comment: Clean, beautiful and everything that you want in a grocery store. The four stars is due to the fact I noticed choice and selection are down. Plus is they have a generator in times of a hurricane (actually I think all grocery stores are supposed to now). Staff is friendly and courteous and I rarely have to wait more than 15 minutes to check out. They have a nice deli with lots of selections and prepared meals. Overall this is a great store especially since the renovation.

Comment: I am not one for shopping. Im not a fan of supermarkets, the mall etc. Personally, I prefer going to Walmart at 2am. The prices are lower and you avoid the hassle of dealing with traffic, parking issues, wait times etc. That being said, I go to this publix because it is close to my mothers house. She is older, I help with the shopping and I cant exactly take the groceries to her at 2 am.There are many factors come into play when forming an opinion about a supermarket. Access, parking, how busy it is, quality of other shops in plaza, overall convenience etc.While parking can get a bit crazy during peak hours, I always find what I want in the store. The employees are helpful for the most part. A few times I have come across employees that barely spoke English but they tried to help. It was a bit annoying and created unnecessary delays but the intentions were good.The Deli needs improvement. Wait times can get ridiculous. No joke and no exaggeration. I suppose this is why they push the online ordering as much as they can. Either way, they need to correct that. It cant be that hard to monitor busy hours and add some employees accordingly.The self-checkout stations come in handy assuming youve not purchased too many items.Overall, its not bad and its definitely better than the Winn Dixie thats across the street. Prices are publix high but that isnt unique to this location.

Comment: My husband and I, ordered two gender reveal cakes for a party. The person taking the order placed the wrong date on the pick-up order and selected Friday instead of Thursday. We arrived on Thursday afternoon to find that the cakes werent ready and we were not sure what to do. Thats when managers Dale and Tiffany came over to help. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a creative way to announce the gender to our parents at the party, by putting together two beautifully wrapped boxes filled with balloons. They were very apologetic and truly went the extra mile to remedy the situation. We cannot thank them enough for their help, and will continue to shop at this great location!

Comment: Publix is my favorite place to go for food shopping. Their deals are the best, their return policy is great, their birthday cakes are beautiful and delicious. I shopped at many Publix stores before, and this one at Palmetto and Powerline is my favorite. This store is very well maintained, the managers are always busy making things better, I see them on the floor every time Im there, all the employees are courteous and helpful, the bogo deals never stop, and the cooking presentation inspired me many times to try a new dinner and the kids loved it. The staff is very good, I have seen them handle difficult and rude customers with a lot of patience quite a few times. I highly recommend this place to everyone, except for the rude people.They should simply stay out. Its better for all of us.
