Comment: Publix basically had almost every band of any given consumable on the market at that moment. They DO have well-stocked, orderly, shelves with items you can 99.9% guarantee arent contained in opened, torn, crumpled or dented packaging. Their dairy seems to always be well within the spoilage dates listed, and their customer service from cashier to stocker to manager almost always seems willing and easy and eager to please. Their bakery is outstanding, having freshly made/baked goodies daily and of the highest quality. The only two areas that I feel could actually warrant mentioning that might benefit from a refresher course are:1) the bagging of groceries - definitely a dying art in the new millennia, but one that Publix literally wrote the training manual for and the teens today just dont seem to understand the importance of (because who wants their eggs and bread smashed by their gallon of milk and 2-ltr. Soda bottles?)AND2) the slightly-elevated cost per item; however, that can realistically be defended by stating that well-lit, ultra-clean, pristinely stocked and arranged aisles, rows, and shelving isnt done without that extra ummmph of effort and pride put into it = another 5-10¢ on the dollar....

Comment: I always come here to get my groceries. Conveniently located right next to a CVS and a dollar tree. Local schools and girl/boy scout troops often run fundraisers by the exit door.Many homeless people often rest their feet under the shelter of the front entrance patio. Worry not, though, as they mean you no harm- they are people just like us looking for an escape from the harsh Florida sun. I have never had any issues with any of them.

Workers Cameron and Karen that works side by side together (Cameron, he was my cashier, and Karen packing my groceries). They would NEVER in a million....; know how much GOD had BLESS them to BLESS me that day. GOD is ALWAYS FAITHFUL to his Own. I was having THE MOST HORRIBLE day, and I prayed to JESUS that it would turn around, and I was told by the LORD to walk into this particular Publix because they had others to choice from while looking on my map!!!. Also, out of all my years going to any other Publixes, I never got asked to be walked to my car. That day, Karen did that for me. I knew automatically GOD answered my Prayers. Comment: Publix catered my wedding in 2020 in North Carolina. I’m from Lakeland, Fl. The bakery manager was also was from Lakeland, Fl and still had the 863 area code.Now my son is getting ready to get married and will also use Publix for the catering.I never have an issue with any store!! ☺️☺️☺️

Comment: Got the 8 piece breaded mix chicken and a chicken tender sandwich always worth the price I can always make 2 meals out of one. Got some other grocery items. One of the baggers actually walked me out to my truck because I have issues next door at one of the other stores with a guy following me around and acting really weird so much so that it got to me so the cashier in the bag or heard me talking to my son on the phone about it so the bagger walked me out and made sure I was okay.

Comment: I shop for groceries only at Publix. Grove Park Publix only 4 blocks from my home - very convenient. Only problem w/this store is that many sale items are gone if you dont shop early when sales start. No rain checks makes it impossible to get what you need. I usually go to another Publix that still has plenty of that item.

Comment: Delightful employees, excellent food. My friend had the Taco Salad, which was so fresh, she devoured all of it. We had chosen to celebrate my birthday there. They brought out a brightly colored Sombrero and sang, beautifully, to me in both English and Español. Highly recommended!! Oh, the fried ice cream is a must!!

Comment: Every store you could possibly need in one plaza right here!! I absolutely love visiting this location and will continue to visit for a long time. There have only been a few changes made at this plaza, but the Publix will always remain the main attraction here. They have everything from a CVS, to a vape store, to an Amscot making this location your one stop shopping experience. Once again Publix has gone above and beyond to take care of their customers.

Comment: As most all of the time shopping here is a great experience as the Publix shopping experience should be.But yesterday when I was checking out Anna the cashier was more than pleasant, she 110% of her attention to me and carried on a nice conversation with me and asked about this new vegetable I was trying for the first time too! She was very kind which stood out to me more than any other time because most of the time the Cashiers are just doing their job and trying to say what they are supposed to say but sometimes fail at saying what they are supposed to say.

Comment: Its my favorite Publix in the whole wide world.... True, the only alternative grocers in the immediate area are Harveys and Winn Dixie. Not exactly real competition and Publix, with no ill intention... or any intention at all, really, far and away surpasses these venues in every aspect. Even price when you look at cost/benefit, imo .This store has everything I need and purchase on a regular, weekly basis: (pre-made deli meals, savory chicken tarragon salad, freshly made meatball subway sandwiches, fresh croissants, over priced trendy Nitro coffee..chilled! And a tiramisu to rival Olive Gardens).1 - 4Besides carrying these specialty items, this Publix is the best due to the fact that: 1) its a newer store. 2) Its easy to get in and out of. 3) Theres always ample parking. Even if it seems there isnt....there is. 4) The store is large with wide aisles. It never see too crowded. .THE DELIExcept, except....the deli sandwich line. If you want a fresh hot or cold specialty sub (and you do bc they are delicious) dont go during peak lunch or dinner hours. Youll have to wait a bit if you do. Its worth the wait most times.5 - 75) The products Publix carries, ESPECIALLY, its own Publix brand, are exceptional. 6) The deli staff, actually ALL staff members of this Publix are beyond friendly and helpful. In a genuine way too....not just bc they have to be. 7) This store is beautifully set up, well stocked, with a great ambiance and environment.There are other Publixs and there are other grocery stores, this Grove Park location has all the competition beat, hands down, imo. And the best part... This store comes by this praise naturally. Theyre not gimmicky, shouting sales pitches, twirling signs or any flagrant advertising at all. Just people like you and I, showing up to work with a good attitude and portraying that in their actions and interactions with the customers. The people that run this Publix are obviously well prepared and ready for their job every day in order to keep operations running as smoothly as they do Basically its people taking pride in their job and it shows.Thank you Grove Park. Its super cool that you are all real 100! Be proud. You all can make a bad day turn good and you set a wonderful example for the community.P.S.As an added bonus, you can hit up CVS, Dollar Tree, that vitamin store, Amscot, Dominos, the Chinese place or Wendys while youre there. Its all in the same place. And its not even an ugly strip shopping center. It IS a strip shopping center but its not ugly.The parking lot flow pattern is a bit tricky so watch that.

Comment: Overall a nice store. There is a man thats hangs out everyday with his dog and takes it in the store. Not opposed to animals, just not in the grocery store unless its a service animal. Not a preference its law. The store overall is nice and clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Daisy is a great cashier. I will stand in a longer line for Daisy. Shes is so nice I always leave happier than when I walked in.

Comment: The Publix at Grove Park Shopping Center in Lakeland FL has improved greatly over the last 4 years. It was an OK store to go to for a while, not necessarily being the best choice for grocery shopping but still a good one nonetheless, however, after its relatively recent (~2018) remodel, it has become a fantastic store with fantastic employees.The managers at Publix do an excellent job upholding company policy by providing shoppers with a great shopping experience, and the standard employees also do the same. I have a friend who works with Publix, and he says that while it is a lot of work, it is one of the best jobs he has ever had.As a shopper, the prices are decent, not necessarily Walmart cheap, but certainly not expensive, and this stores condition is definitely good. The floors and Isles are clean, as well as the bathrooms, and the shelves are stocked quite often, making the browsing experience simple as well. The shopping carts are nearly always full in the store, and the parking lot is clean and relatively orderly most of the time, thanks to the remodel.This Publix is certainly one Id recommend, as well as the one at Lake Miriam Square.
