Comment: My local shipping store.Employees are super helpful!!During Christmas, I went to purchase a turkey and didnt want to buy one of the huge ones they had in the meat section. A gentleman in the meat department had more turkeys in the display as I was looking for the smallest turkey.He took his time out from what he was doing and went to the back to check to see the smallest turkey they had in stock.And he really took his time because he was gone for quite a while. He did come back when the smallest turkey Ive ever seen in a store hahaha

I love that you can order your subs ahead of time online, which is very convenient. The sushi is also really good and so are the deserts! I love this particular Publix because of the employees! They don’t seem happy to be working there…I used to cashier for grocery chain so I can relate to “stress” at the workplace but Customer Service has always been priority to me regardless of my personal issues. Smiling doesn’t cost anything and it can make someone’s day…cuz you never know what that person is going through.

Comment: The bakery is phenomenal. Ive ordered cakes for multiple themed parties lately and each cake has been better than the last. The detail and artistic talent that goes into the cakes, with little-to-no direction (just a photo of invites or decor)is fantastic! I was expecting matching colors and a Happy Birthday and they brought out a cake that matched the invitations down to the elephant with a birthday hat on. I couldnt be more impressed, nor could my guests!

Comment: This Publix is pretty great. They seem to stay pretty well stocked on most items and have a good variety if items available. The staff has always been friendly. They even offer to take out your groceries for you. The convenience of the pharmacy inside the store is awesome. Next door they have their liquor store, so it makes all your shopping convenient. With it only being 10 minutes from our house, I love all that this Publix has to offer. Highly recommend.

And they always ask if you need assistance taking out your purchase to the vehicle. Comment: I love the Publix near me at Gulf Cove. One minor complaint I have, however, I experienced again today. One express lane open, four people lined up, and the customer in front had a huge order. It isnt fair for those of us who have to pick up two or three items (or even 10) and have to wait in line for an inconsiderate shopper to run their weeks worth of groceries through the checkout.

Sometimes you can get swordfish, often not. The people are VERY nice, which is a big plus. Prices? Pretty high on many day to day items.

Comment: The staff at Publix Gulf Cove Hes always ready to help and they seem to take their jobs seriously. Its a selection is good, the buy one get one are always plentiful, in the deli has a great selection of meats, meals, and sandwiches. The pharmacy is quick to respond and often goes out of their way to fill a prescription quickly if needed. I only wish Publix had a few more places to park the cart after its emptied.

Comment: If youve ever been to the south east US, you have almost definitely been aware of a grocery store chain known as Publix. Where shopping is a pleasure. And it usually is; the stores are well organized enough, the quality of their produce is better than decent* and they make almost the BEST sub in town. My main issue, is they have noticibly higher prices than just about anywhere except maybe whole foods. I find it hard to rationalize paying more for the exact same item that I can get for half the price at Winn Dixie or Walmart.* My fiancee and myself got some kind of food bourne illness from the fresh fruit at Publix. HORRIBLE symptoms that I wont even get into here as some may find it disturbing.

That said youll occasionally get the 70 yr old Karen who wants to pay with a paper check and assaults the cashier with 1000 coupons, but by far worth the visit.Great management, and jovial man behind the deli counter yelling the latest specials in your face.

Comment: I like this Publix location. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. The variety and quality of product is pretty good although pricing has become a reason for concern.I have recently become worried about shopping here although. The woman washing carts with what I assume is a sanitizer, has not idea what the 6 foot rule is nor is the store doing much to support the social distancing.They might as well stop sanitizing hard surfaces through out the store, as the level of cross contamination during the process is horrible! Watched one woman walk around the cold cases with spray bottle In hand and dry towel Wiping down the door handles. Not once did she use the spray that would have been some, if only a small amount of help as it was a pot sink sanitizer that has a very limited kill claim. The way she cleaned helped to make certain each handle was contaminated with whatever germs and bacteria were on all the handles.Over the months of shopping at Publix stores around Englewood FL I have observed a tremendous need for staff disinfection training and a review of the product that are being used, how and where. Don’t mix bleach with a sanitizer and think you are doing anything but giving yourself a heck of a headache!I like Publix, but you can do better...

The store is clean and organized and the team members there are some of the nicest people youll ever interact with when shopping. I have been shopping here for four years along with other places in the area. I have never seen or heard any staff complain. Everyone is always cheerful and helpful! Comment: Been shopping at this Publix for a couple years and the customer service is outstanding. Very polite, helpful and the employees go out of their way. A man named Ryan who works there went all the way to the other side of the store to help my wife and I out because we could not find something. We were really impressed with him and Shopping here is always a great experience. Its also very clean, well kept and nicely stocked.
