Comment: They have a wide selection of the usual. This store has a full service pharmacy and has a deli. Its fairly big and maintained super clean. Given the location (store is on an island) it usually closes super early (9pm) and it seems a lot more expensive than other stores. So not my favorite grocery store but convenient if you dont want to drive far and youre near North Beach.

Comment: A very nice Publix manager helped me find these. I couldn’t describe very well, only knew it was tomato basil flavor. He patiently walked to an aisle and then he figured out what it was and took me to it. Very impressed with his kindness. A tall young man.

I have had experiences where an employee will be half way down an aisle working when he notices the lost look on my face as to locating a product, he actually waves me forward to help me! Staff there is so extraordinary! This store is about two miles from my hometown store, but it’s so worth it to go to this store! Thank you is an understatement!

The artist wasnt particularly friendly but she was getting the job done. The sandwich I ordered was just as I requested and the quality was better than expected. They had enough registers open to complete my purchase quickly at the front and it made my lunch less stressed to have everything working together at this location Luke a well oiled machine. Comment: Not actually a one star store. Just hoping for someone’s attention. Shopped this Publix every week for the last 6 years and have spent an estimated $100,000 dollars in that time. Shop here not for the prices but for the excellent customer service. Today at the pharmacy after getting my scripts I asked the girl if she could add 4 items I had so I could save time. This is the the only time I have ever requested this. Other pharmacy cashiers have asked me if I wanted them to do this in the past. She didn’t want to do it for me. Stated that they don’t do it if they’re busy. There was no one behind me or anyone at the counter. She did it reluctantly and stated ok as long as we have an understanding! Publix 1160 you need to quit hiring sub-standard employees, I’m seriously thinking of spending my next $100 grand somewhere else. Do we have an understanding?Changed my review from one to four stars since I haven’t seen the little gangster with the smart mouth working in the pharmacy lately.

Comment: Adrian at the deli provided outstanding customer service today, not only to me but witnessed his skills to others in line as well at the deli sandwich counter. I admire that he came out from behind the counter to take a personalized order from an elderly woman in a wheelchair so that she wasn’t having to yell over the glass partition. He got down to her eye level to take her order and ensure she was cared for. Absolutely wonderful to see such service!

It is also the only market that you can go to to find an item nobody else has. And, if they dont have it they are happy to special order it for you. In todays economy the BOGOs they offer help me stretch my grocery money a little further. Ohhhh and nobody can even come close to a delicious Publix sub!!

Comment: Belive it or not these are REAL people working here! I for the longest time thought they were just dumb monkeys packing my groceries in my bags. Only problem I had, was that my very redundant, very needy, packing procedure couldnt be fulfilled because there was a line, the size of Great Wall of China. And the fact that I didnt care to check when the store would close and would ignorantly walk in expecting the greatest service, at my ignorance and was greeted with a, Were closed, sir. You have to checkout. To which I ignored and decided to continue shopping.when I was done the time read 10:48. Exactly 48 minutes after they closed. I saw no problem. But the team that was on register and bagging had a small look of disappointment. And that was when I realized, Woah, these arent my playthings Im allowed to bark orders at, these are kids trying to make it in life, or help thir struggling families make ends meet. But its not about them its my review its always about me. Lol I make 400k a year. Hahaha.

That said, this Publix has a great selection of products as most, if not all, Public stores do. Comment: Went on a Wednesday for $5 sushi 🍣. It was fresh, nicely packaged and people were grabbing them like crazy! It had a packet of soy sauce inside too. The location of this Publix is at Gulf To Bay Blvd and Belcher from so it is a very busy intersection. The store is large, and very clean and organized. The staff is pleasant and always eager to help. They are knowledgeable about where items are located in the store. The deli is great and I hear the sub sandwiches are wonderful. I have yet to try one. Their produce is always top notch and their bakery is fantastic! Their cakes are exceptional. Their BOGO sales are so exciting! 🔥

Comment: Busy store at a busy intersection. We moved, I miss my old store on Walsingham. This is a very clean and well stocked store with friendly staff. Produce area is best Ive seen. Busy store means fast turnover.Design of parking lot is horrific. 7 stop signs out front force you to block cars attempting to exit every parking lane.. Publix liquor store parking causes traffic exiting Gulf to Bay into shopping center to backup into Gulf to Bay. Dangerous.

The big brands have 2 inches of crushed cereal crumbs on the bottom. Not Publix brand. Publix lunch meats are great too. Thanks Publix!

Comment: Layout seems different than other Publix’s so it took a little longer to find everything for Thanksgiving shopping but we managed. The staff is helpful on locating items and the store was well stocked for our needs with plenty of organic options. Wine selection could be improved. Photos as of November 2020.

Comment: Publix Flowers are the best ! I ended up ordering a floral spray through a wonderful Publix employee named KC. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have many more flower arrangements than I expected. Some of the stores have a bigger floral department I discovered, well worth checking out!

Comment: A great Supermarket. First-rate products and tremendous amount of choices. Fantastic courteous and helpful staff. Well stocked and designed store. A very nice and clean store. The only negative thing I have to say is it generally overpriced. Consequently, I only shop there for items I cant get elsewhere, such as Boarshead products. Generally speaking a quality shopping experience!
