Well the manager and her coworkers gave her no help even though several people were waiting clicking myself. I dont blame the woman I blame whoever did the scheduling and any other manager that couldnt bring over someone else with cross training during the business shopping day for supermarket of the year. I had made this Publix location my regular store earlier this year, however, because cashier attitudes and errors I stop shopping this store for about six months my recent visit was very refreshing overall.The cashier was attentive checking me out, the deli was also improved without all the employee chatter between themselves they were cheerful and very courteous as if they wanted to wait on you.To my surprise I spent less, got everything on my list than I did shopping a competitor. I plan is to return to this location once I receive a new power wheelchair, I have been waiting six months now and was informed today it will be four to six weeks before shipment arrives and a new chair is assembled for delivery.I am very disappointed I cant get out.This trip to Highlands served as a big up bump for the stress, confinement, depression and my wallet that I needed, Im so thankful for this improvement shopping in this store.

Comment: Publics is very clean and has an array of cheeses and deli meats that I enjoy. I have been on the lookout for duck wings…. If you’ve ever had fried duck wings you know what I’m talking about. Same taste and texture as a chicken wing but the oily consistency of duck just makes the fried wing that much better! 🦆 Let me know if you find some.

Comment: We traveled from out of town for my son’s birthday to Jacksonville and Publix Bakery delivered! Thank you for being apart of making my son’s 3rd birthday a hit! Called early to ask some questions and for a special request this morning and all of the answers I received was thorough.

Comment: Older location. Store was well supplied. Bakery and deli had waiting lines. I am a bit disabled. The cashier was careful to not overload the bags. In the parkinglot another employee collecting carts came over to help me raise the hatch on myVan. He then placed the bags so I could easily retrieve. He helped me load my Rollator into the van.

Comment: Always super clean, though some of the staff are rude as Hell... they darn near walk over you, dont look back nor say excuse me. SMDH. Otherwise, its a great store. The bakery, deli, seafood, hot foods and sandwich departments have very nice staff. I usually use the self check out and the attendants there are nice, too.

Comment: Publix is the store where shopping is a pleasure! This is the stores advertising logo, but it really is true. Their employees are all nice and helpful. If you cant find something, they dont just tell you where it is, they stop what theyre doing and take you to find what you want. Publix also has the most unusual products that are not found in other grocery stores, if youre looking for those kind of things. I believe their bakery, their Thanksgiving dinners, their deli (and you should see that daily line) are all deliciously fantastic. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, there may be some products we cant find at Publix at this time, but not many.N. Powell

Comment: Nice friendly store however, some of the customers lack civility and just dont follow the obligatory such as going through the wrong door, driving fast/wrong way through the parking lot, using profanity outloud, dont put the shopping carts back LITTERING EVERYWHERE! I know they dont like being stereotyped but a lot of them fit it well.

Comment: It is clean, well-stacked, and the employees are both numerous and very helpful. Its in a busy location and their parking lot is frequently filled, which hardly seems like their fault as a supermarket. The only fault I can find with Publix is its higher prices. I understand more employees on a shift = higher overhead costs and they need to offset that. Its the nature of the beast, I suppose, if you want to have a decent shopping experience and not feel the need to take a bleach dip as soon as you leave in these insane times...

Comment: I love this store. The deli and bakery has delicious food and every week there are discount sales or buy one get one free deals. Great staff and I appreciate that they have both cashiers and baggers plus self checkout lanes.

Comment: So me and my daughter made it to the Publix today which was very pleasant I must say everytime I make a trip there the staff in the store they are so accommodating and they try to be as helpful as possible and always polite I really love the Publix on Dunns Avenue I have never yet Walked in that store and had a bad experience ,even down to the other customers they are just as polite and patient and accommodating as the staff. Great Job guys keep up good work.

Comment: Thanks for having enough grocery checkout lanes open, as there was little to no wait in most aieles! What a pleasant surprise. Now the deli was a bit under part , as many of the entrees and side dishes were out, as well as the non- spicy take out chicken. Overall though, considering the time of day ( 1:00p.m.), much of the deli issues co be blamed on this, and the staff that I came in contact were all very pleasant and helpful.

Comment: For my Aunt’s birthday we decided to do something small at home. For the dessert we chose Publix because they’re known for delicious yet inexpensive cakes. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed! The Raspberry Elegance cake was so beautiful and tasty. I honestly consider this my favorite cake!As we’ve all come to appreciate and expect, the customer service was great (the bakery manager suggested the cake) and the store is clean. The parking lot is hectic but manageable. I’d definitely refer others to this store.

Comment: I was looking for something specific but was unable to find it. I got the attention of one of the employees and she got me some help. The young man came to help me. He was unable to find it down the Isle were I was. He told me it may be down this other isle. He didnt just tell me where to look or point me in the right direction...No, he brought me down the correct isle and handed me what I came there for. The store is always clean and the employees are always very nice and helpful. Thank you Publix!

Comment: Monique in the Deli was AWESOME! Professional and courteous throughout our interaction with her. She was grating every customer who came into the Deli area. Monica apologized for the wait and assured everyone someone would be with them shortly. She made sure we were aware of the current specials and offered combo meals for our pruchase. Great experience!!!!
