Comment: This is a really great Publix because it has the old school weight machine where you can weigh yourself for free, and the bakery has some super talented bakers that do really unique cake items. Venice has a different feel to it than a Sarasota or a Bradenton. Mini down to earth people that can hunker down with you and very authentic.

The selections at the bakery are phenomenal, the cakes. pies and other lovely desserts, also the prepared foods near the deli are delicious with so much to choose from salads to hot chicken.. seafood department is awsome as well. Even the Selections in the frozen food department have so many selections of yummy food.This store is always very clean and the employees are always polite and and willing to help.I feel likes its a special outing just to go shopping there and see all the good stuff they have to offer.

Comment: What a great location to stop at !!The experience from Publix very rarely disappoints .  One of the greatest things about living in Florida is Publixdoesnt matter if its the selection of meats , baked goods from the bakery , or freshly  sliced cheese from the deli . Its always a cut about the rest .The layouts are not uniform, but its always pretty easy to come in and find it exactly what  you need .Generally though they need more staff in the Deli because they cannot handle the lunch rush for Pub subs .sometimes you have to wait 20/30 minutes just to get a sandwich even if you ordered ahead online . But even then its worth it because the same size Sandwitch at any other shop would cost twice as much .The Boars Head meat and cheeses are always phenomenal . I would stay away from the pre cut meats as the are not always fresh . I have been burned. To many times when I have been in a rushdont forget to treat yourself to the best tasting chocolate chip cookies  this side of the Mississippi.I would wholeheartedly recommend this Publix to my friends and family or anyone in the area . Most definitely can not  go around.

Comment: Christmas Eve. Not the best time to venture out to the grocery store. I had to circle the parking lot 4 times to find a spot. ( Normally, I can navigate to an available spot with no issue.) I saw multiple employees collecting carts from the parking lot. Once I got into the store, I immediately noticed carefully arranged floral and baked goods displays. Again, multiple employees were seen keeping everything stocked and organized. The store was clean and well stocked. The deli was full of hot, fresh items. The produce department looked great, again, multiple employees were seen stocking and organizing. I found the items I needed to complete my Christmas baking, and left with several items I did not realize I needed. Multiple check out lanes were open, and I did not have to wait. Every employee I encountered was pleasant. The only issue I had with my visit was upon unpacking my bags at home, I noticed the Hallmark Christmas card I bought was not in any of my bags. Im not going to go back and circle the lot for a half hour, so my sister just isnt getting a card this year.I will go back. I love their fried chicken!

I saw many workers carrying groceries to the car for some older people which was great to see. The only downside was that it was incredibly busy. The young man who I encountered at the deli was exceptionally knowledgeable about the deli products and gave me some ideas for the things I was purchasing. I appreciated it very much and he offered some suggestions about other items on sale this week. Ill definitely take the extra mile and head over to this location more frequently. The cashiers are very nice, as well.
