Comment: I waltzed into Publix like a Canadian on a mission, and boy, did this supermarket hit all the right notes! The aisles were so tidy, even my obsessive-compulsive polar bear friend would approve. The produce section had veggies fresher than a mooses morning dew. Plus, the staff was as friendly as a Mountie handing out maple syrup. Publix, youve turned this Canuck into a grocery-loving snowbird. Five stars, eh!

Comment: This Publix is huge, almost felt like gong into a wharehouse store. Let me just say, with the size of this store, if they dont have it, publix doesnt carry it. The deli is also massive compared to other Publix Delis. This is a very popular store with multiple entrances with a constant stream of people in and out. The bakery is pretty large as well, with products ready to go in single serving portions by the register near the deli. There is also a dining area that many stores do not have. Overall, I have to say, impressive.My opinion is due to the size and volume of people coming through this store, they werent quite as friendly as the stores in my area. This store didnt seam as clean either, with noticeable dust above cooler doors at the deli, collected on top of fire alarms and air ducting, and there is a lot of air ducting in this store.

Parking lot is shared with many other places from Chinese fast food with a CVS right as you enter the parking lot you probably won’t find parking very close to the doors but still not too bad. Cars turn over pretty quick considering.

We went back for grapes because they were so delicious. We took some for the road trip back home. Thank you to the cashier for being funny , nice and friendly. Comment: This is my main store!!! Its big but not too big. Produce section is always beautiful and lit with natural sunlight from the sky light. BOGOs keep my house stocked while keeping bill lower. Pharmacy and staff are ultra nice and professional. Fresh in house made bakery, deli, sandwich shop and soups are a must. Very friendly checkout staff with lots of lanes open. Self checkout is efficient. Other small shops and restaurants surrounding the large central parking lot.

Comment: The shelves were well stocked and the produce was fresh. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly but one employee stood out in the crowd. There I was in the meat department, attempting to choose a steak for dinner. An employee who introduced himself as David, approached me in a very professional but friendly manner and asked if I needed help. He gave me an indepth lesson on the different cuts of meat and which one was best, based on the cooking method I chose to use. I left there extremely satisfied with my shopping experience and I will return eventhough its not the closest Publix location to where I live. David is an asset to the Publix team and should be commended for his knowledge and customer service skills.

My mom doesn’t speak English and he was able to help her so kindly without much of my help. She was so happy. He was quick, efficient, and had amazing skill. Comment: This was my neighborhood Publix for years before I moved to St.Marks. One of the first in town to implement self checkout. The guys in the meat department will absolutely do anything you ask, you just have to ask they are happy to help. Dont forget $5 sushi Wednesday is a tradition in our home, $60 on Publix sushi rolls vs. $60 at a restaurant is a massive difference. Plus Market Liquors next door is always fully stocked with local favorites and timeless classics. Pro tip park on the side of the building by the liquor store for covered walkway to avoid rain.

Comment: I was in a freak accident last week & cracked 3 ribs, & had my 5 & 2 yr old with me.SETH, the young man at check out, was so awesome and thoughtful.He waited for the manager to bring my sons 2 free balloons, before pushing my cart with my 2 yr old in it to our car. After unloading the groceries, I was dreading lifting my almost 30lbs 2yr old out of the cart with my 3 cracked ribs, and felt bad asking him for help with the baby too.Seth saw my hesitation and quickly asked if he could take the baby out for me, which I was grateful for. Then he asked if I wanted him to lift the baby into the carseat, which was another big yes! (Seth told me had a little sister, so he was experienced with small kids.)Even though he wore a mask, I could tell Seth was smiling the whole time. He was great with the kids, and saved my cracked ribs the horrible pain of loading groceries and a heavy baby into my car.Because of ppl like Seth, my family and I will choose Publix over any shopping place!Even the bakery worker offered the kids 2 free cookies as we walked by (which I then bought my older son a treat for helping me).Also, Despite Publix being out for the moment of free balloons for kids, after the manager and cashier saw my 5 yr old unloading my whole cart at check out, including a 12lbs bag of pet food, they said he deserved a balloon no matter what, and still gave both kids a free balloon with crayons and a coloring page.Thank you Lake Ella Publix for hiring the best ppl!!!(For reference, the last 3 times we shopped at tenn st walmart, no employee ever spoke to us, not even the cashier)

Produce doesn’t last as long as I would like, especially fruits Not enough Greenwise products which are good & not enough organic products & produce.. Organic produce tends be in packaging that is fine for families but not for 1 to 2 people. These packages cannot be broken down bc they are sold as a package only. This is not fault of the store.The register people, packers, & people who help you out are polite & friendly. People in various departments are also polite & helpful. It’s a nice atmosphere & I’ve been shopping at that store before it was in Lake Ella Plaza, for >30 years. So, I am very happy shopping there.

They have a fabulous assortment of produce, and everything is beautifully displayed with large, spacious isles. Checkout was quick and friendly, and the parking is convenient. I can only think of one time that I came here and didn’t find what I was looking for. For these reasons, I would have given this location a full 5 star review.If I had left this review yesterday, it would have been 3 stars instead of 4 but I’m not as annoyed today as I was yesterday. My daughter’s birthday party was yesterday and as I do for any occasion, I ordered her cake from Publix. Now, the closest one to our house is on Crawfordville Hwy, but I chose this one because I love this store in particular. I ordered the Mystical Mermaid cake a week prior for her mermaid themed party. It was a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and “chocolate strawberry” decadent filling instead of the usual fillings. This cake was about $43 and some change. I paid an extra $6 just for the filling - which was fudge and fresh strawberries. The guests enjoyed it but only a few people actually got a couple bites of strawberries in their slice - myself not included! I ordered the cake like this because I had recently tried the same cake at a friend’s birthday party and it was delicious!! A good amount of fudge and strawberries evenly through the entire cake. I know this seems petty but the icing on the cake - literally - didn’t look anything like the picture. I know, I know. All the bakers and decorators are different but it definitely didn’t look as good as I thought it would. Anyways. I’d give the bakery another chance. Just wish it would’ve been better.

The store is clean, well-organized, and has a wide selection of brands and products. Staff are quick to greet you and offer assistance but not in an overbearing way. Comment: Customer service is excellent as always. However my only problems in the store have been the Deli. My first time ordering a sub online, they forgot to add pickles to my sub. Unfortunately I didnt notice until I got home to eat it. The second time I ordered a sub online I arrived 5 min before my sub was supposed to be ready. However it was still not made 15 minutes after I was supposed to pick it up.
