Comment: I just got back from Publix and the gal at the deli/sandwich counter grossed me out, I wanted to get some sliced meat and cheese cause my boy is coming for a visit so Im waiting while this gal is finishing up what shes doing she puts the meat she was slicing away then wipes her nose on the back of her hand (not a pretty sight) and instead of washing her hand or putting on fresh gloves she goes over to the sandwich area and starts making a sandwich for the woman standing there! It was disgusting because she had just wiped her runny nose and used the same hand to make this sandwich. I started gagging just the thought of eating a sandwich with that gals snot on it was sickening. Had I been the manager she would have been fired! You cant work with food and have bad hygiene practices. Just incase youre thinking of getting a sandwich there heres her description about 5 maybe early 20s shoulder length light brown hair wire rim glasses and bad grooming habits. I wont be ordering sandwiches there while that gal is working. Imagine if this happened during a pandemic!!On the plus side they definitely have plenty of choices just wish the produce was fresher. Targets produce is fresher but Publix has more variety so get your produce at target and other food items at Publix and make sure that the deli people are changing out their gloves after they touch dirty body parts.😦😉

Comment: Recently, while picking up medication at the pharmacy in my local Publix, I was extremely impressed by the responsibility and diligence of the pharmacist. They took the time to look up and compare the prices of my prescription medications, even pointing out some that were exorbitantly priced. The discount card I received for the medications had unclear instructions, which could easily lead to misunderstandings. I am very grateful for the pharmacists genuine consideration for the patients needs and welfare at Publix. 🥰

Comment: Its a fine grocery store from which we were picking up sandwich platters and desserts for a baptism reception. The food was delicious when we got it home and the cake looked great.One possibility for the future is that they could have the items for one order placed together. We needed to go to the bakery and then the deli (fine), but it took a while at the deli because the meats were in a different place than the sides which were separate from the other sides. The staff was very helpful, but it would have gone faster if everything for the order in the deli was stacked together.

If Grayson is there I always go in his line, he is always so sweet and helpful and never gets upset when I ask for paper bags. And Robyn (I believe) is my favorite bagger. They rarely let me get as far as bagging my own groceries before Robyn runs over and perfectly stacks all of my items in the paper bags, which I prefer. There’s not enough kindness in the world these days, but I commend these young people for their pleasantly positive attitudes, and their great work ethic. Thank you Publix! These kids deserve a raise or at least a Christmas bonus. Thank you Grayson & Robyn!

Comment: Publix is always great no matter the location. It proves that the company has outstanding training and policies. I always think of Publix on the same level as Chick-fil-A when it comes to how the companies are structured. Everyone always goes out of their way from the minute you walk in to be friendly... or if they see you a little lost lend a Helping Hand. Thats what I love about that place. My son Cody and I love to BBQ ...and big Mike in the meat department has point us in the right direction time and time again, even if Im by myself hell split a package of steaks for me. He always goes the extra mile. I could say the same for Dianna the checkout cashier I see her all the time she checked my stuff out tonight at the register and is always Pleasant asking how my family is and getting me out of there & home to dinner quick.👍👍👍😊

Comment: Publix supermarkets are always clean, they put the extra effort into making shopping a pleasant experience for their customers. I do find the employees at the Publix in Merritt Island, in the plaza off Couteney Pkwy more helpful, and out going the the other Publix that I use in the area. The employees at this location great you first with a smile, and a pleasant greeting, they ALWAYS ask if you need help finding anything, the all seem to enjoy their jobs. I have 2 other area Publix that I frequent, and although ALL the stores are clean and well maintained I do not always receive the same level of enthusiasm at these stores, not every employee greets you, some just look away. They are always polite when you speak to them but not necessarily as helpful or out going.

And I am always helped by positive and cheerful people from one end of the store to the other, I just left there and had a super cheerful deli staff member brighten my day and share recipes (Penny is an all-star!) and younger kid (probably his first summer job) that had manners and was helpful. I was then greeted by another younger kid who smiling and cracking good natured jokes while he was my cashier. Also, they slipped a churro donut on me... I never knew such a thing existed! If it is as good as it sounds I might just have to add a sixth star hah!

Comment: I love, love, love this pharmacy. Its so convenient to order my refills, and they text me when they are ready and fill them on time. The pharmacist is so nice and gives great customer service. They know who I am when I call and are knowledgeable about my medications and insurance. I left this place for two months, and had to come back. They do great work!!
