Comment: I love Publix in Miami Shores. A lit of people poo poo the pharmacy, management, the check out folks and baggers and the floor folks. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at Publix and have been 99% of the time able to get what I needed. Maybe 100%. The Pharmacy is one place, along with the meat counter and and the Sushi counter where I spend lot of time as I have several prescriptions on file as does my wife. Were seniors with all of the normal ailments of such folks. The meat counter can always get me the piece if beef I want. The store isnt the cheapest but their bogo program, if it fits your needs, is great. I have saved as much as 50% off my actual bill, and I have saved as little as 0% on it sometimes. My needs didnt line up with the offers. But I normally save 20 to 30 percent through bogos.Jim Van der VeenMiami Shores

Comment: Publix always delivers!! I got cupcakes for a kids party. Specifically decorated Barbie theme and Racing car theme. Unfortunately the cups cakes were ruined when I accidentally drop them tripping over an uneven pavement. I went back to Publix to see if I can get those same decorated cupcakes at 8 pm and Daphenie Jules was a sweetheart!! Not only was she understanding of my dilemma, she immediately started making preparations to decorate 12 cupcakes for me. I can’t thank her enough for making a bad situation better. Note: she was the only one working in the bakery at that time and a few people needed her help. She was very patient with each customer.

Comment: Came here today as I always do on Mondays and I must say this is the best Publix by far. The workers are always happy and ready to answer me questions and assist with anything I need! Shout out to the deli department y’all are the best! Then as I was checking out the manager called for staff and management to grab carts for the customers and the way staff and management all came together and went outside and grabbed the carts together and brought them in! The team work was definitely beautiful to see! Great job guys

Comment: Parking lot was swamped with cars and there was only rooftop parking available. Lines inside the store for subs and the deli counter were backed up like I’ve never seen. This was unbelievable for a Sunday afternoon; it was as though the store was giving something away for free and didn’t tell anyone. Strange the lines were long for these areas but the checkout lines were a breeze to get in and out. Amazing no one was cranky or rude about the overcrowding.

Maybe management can look into that and ensure safe and easy flow of traffic.The market is generally clean and prices are just average. Comment: Its fabulous to have a Starbucks INSIDE the store where shopping is a pleasure...PUBLIX.I needed to do a return of 2 products that I had purchased with a gift card & my credit card for a sick relative. And the Mgr. on duty this afternoon was very gracious, kind, and professional and took care of it very smoothly after 2 other employees had tried to do it. I asked that the $ be given back to me the same way that I paid - a bit complicated but computers make things very smooth.Thank you PUBLIX for making shopping a pleasure when even making purchases that have to be returned :)

Comment: One thing I truly have to give the Publix I grew up with amazing props for is it looks for the most part jut as amazing as it did since its renovation in 2001. This location has a great amount of staff retainer, which speaks to the work environment and most staff continue to provide exceptional customer service. Keep in mind that this is a busy location and it is better to almost always go later at night. I found 10:30 to be a good time. Outside of that time slot take advantage of the roof top parking, if you are running in for just a few items shoot down the stairs with a reusable bag and then right back up. Not sure why more people do not take advantage of this route, but it has always worked for me. The covered turnaround is a huge plus when you are co-shopping and it is raining. Lines are never very long even with the high crowd, but beware the customer service lines which can sometime queue beyond a reasonable amount of people. Also not sure why they continue to have a coin counting machine when if you are a Bank of America customer you could easily do an exchange or deposit just next door.

Comment: This Store is clean, well lit I enjoyed the clam chowder soup its in a convenient area. They have some items that Walmart doesnt carry, I just think they are a bit expensive if they come down off those prices they will have to be opened 24 hours because they will be crowded everyday. 😀

Comment: I was shopping w/others;therefore could not get a “feel” for it. All I noticed was lots of different people.THE PHARMACY NEEDS MORE WORK. Personnel was not rude, just attn to it’s transmitted to customers.

Comment: I’ve been going to this Publix for about a year already, and I’m so impressed how people are friendly here. Especially older workers. Like nowhere in Miami: always smiling, welcoming and helping. I usually come with my two toddlers, so the staff makes my visit hustle free and I can make it quick: from the door to the register and to the car.

Comment: Always a pleasure shopping at this Publix, you will always get service with a smile with a few exceptions. In the deli, Chanda, the rep who dealt with me was efficient, patient and so courteous in her service. The wait was long but in the end worth it. She catered to me as if I was important and though the line still remained long, there was no rush or frustration just smiles and she reassured everyone in line in a timely manner she would be with them shortly providing them with the same courteous service.It was truly a pleasure especially when not feeling your best to have someone make you feel just a bit better but their service.Great job Publix, keep up the amazing work in the community.

Comment: A very nice, clean and well managed. The staff is very helpful and the fastest checkout! The problem for me is lack of prime meats or great chickens, fair fish counter, and the produce is not as good as Whole Foods. I had a whole chicken deboned and it was very poorly done. I was told that they were experienced.

Comment: AWESOME!!! I have been a patron since, I was a child. The staff and management, are the best!!! Krista Malgorie, is the best Event Planner. She helped me create a universally pleasing menu for kids and adults, for my sons past Birthday. I would definitely use and recommend her again!!!

Comment: Pretty good Publix for it being the only one in the area and serving multiple surrounding neighborhoods. Parking on the first level is hard to find most of the time, so thankfully there is a rooftop option. Once inside, it is never too packed, youll never feel like a sardine. Very clean and organized. Theres a pharmacy at this location which comes in handy sometimes . Deli line usually takes forever but the end product is great. Most employees are helpful too.
