Comment: The only grocery store with top-notch customer service!!!UPDATE: This is my favorite Publix and unfortunately today wasnt so pleasant.When I asked Emma if she was open because I saw the light was off but I saw she was still working, I just wanted to make sure because I understand when someone is ready to go, well when I asked, she heard me and Ignored me and before I could get it all out again she said Yes in a not so pleasant tone. Then when got up to the cashier not once did she greet me at all. No smile. No greeting no Nothing. Like she was mad with the world. I am not used to Publix customer service being like this. Maybe she should go to Walmart or somewhere else who dont mind bad customer service.Groceries cost. Being Nice is Free.

Comment: Walking into this Publix, I instantly noticed how cleaned and nice it smelled. As Im making my way to the deli, I am greeted with more delightful scents. Walking I to the bakery you instantly get a tickle of cinnamon swimming through the air which is quickly replaced by the salivating, distinctive, smell of Publix fried chicken. My stomach was set on a Boars Head Chicken Cordon Bleu on the delectable Italian 5 grain subroll.There was a small line (of course theres a line. They are PubSubs!) and I watched the deli associate, Johnny taking extra care on the ladys order in front of me. He has great customer service skills and awesome marketing! The lady loved him, specifically asked for his name and then Johnny made sure to let her know and also invite her back to see him! Talk about return sales!Once I became line winner (woohoo 1st place!), Johnny greeted me warmly and welcoming. He had to cut my sub meat fresh (never mind that! Love a fresh cut) and then built it with love and care. The best way to explain how I watched this artist transform these ingredients put before him into something magically delicious is the famous scene from the film Ghost. He handcrafted this beautiful piece of edible art that I later devoured and cried tears of joy and contentment from.I WILL be back to see Johnny and challenge all Pub Sub Artists to aspire to be as phenomenal as this man. Well done sir, and continue to inspire our appetites and soothe the hanger demons many of us have within.

Comment: Like most places with a Publix we have two in a 5 mile radius... and about 9 in a 10 mile radius. Because of that it can be hard picking one as your primary but we are happy this one happens to be the closest as well. The staff is friendly and the environment is clean. Prices suck but thats nothing new so just make sure you are using the catalog or getting discounted items to save some cash.

Seafood counter makes some awesome seasoned steamed shrimp to order. This location stays stocked fairly well as far as variety. While they didnt have the design I was looking for, they still were able take some pictures I had found on Google and vague description from me and create an amazing display! They just needed 24 hrs which was perfect for the last minute. It was super inexpensive even though it is a top notch cake. Taste was amazing also. Thanks again to the bakery!!!

Comment: This Publix is by far one of the greatest. Everyone is so kind and polite especially when I do my drive up pick ups. Kenny the service manager is phenomenal and so very kind. We had car troubles and he was willing to deliver our groceries for us. I will forever be grateful for him going above and beyond. It is most definitely a pleasurable shopping experience at this location.

Comment: This is the best Publix store I have ever been in. No experience with the deli as I do not frequent that counter. I am a huge fan of the soup bar. Kudos to the stores ordering manager (is that a thing?) because I have found *many* hard-to-find items and locally sourced items at this particular store that I would normally have to order online and pay shipping costs, or drive across the bridge to go to Whole Lotta $$ Foods (see what I did there?). They have a substantial sugar free and ketogenic-friendly selection of items that I greatly appreciate. The one downside is that I wish this store sold spirits (vodka, whiskey, etc) because it would be great to do my party/special occasion shopping in one place, instead of having to make multiple stops. However, theres a spirits store in the same plaza so thats a small thing. Another downside is that items are pricier than some of the other grocery stores in the area. I echo the sentiment of the uncomfortably nice staff (Im a transplanted New Yorker so this is not a downside, just took some getting used to). Keep up the great work, ordering manager! (seriously, is that a thing?)

Comment: I don’t live near this Publix but I was going to be over that way for a function, I realized I was out of migraine medication and could feel one coming on. I called the store to see if they could fill the prescription even though I get my prescriptions filled at another Publix on the other side of town. When o arrived my prescription was being filled and I only had to wait 2-3 minutes! The staff was great, fast, and super friendly! It was a total life saver. Thank you Publix at Oakleaf Commons!

Comment: The store is always immaculate and staff uncomfortably nice. I was born and raised in NY and when someone offered help to your car you normally declined in fear of some ulterior motive. But that is not to say anything negative with their checkout, stock, management. Their biggest weak link is their deli counter. They do not have someone to organize deliver quick precise service to their customers. On average it should not take 10 minutes to have any meat sliced. Extenuating circumstances do apply and it can take two minutes to prepare a freshly packaged turkey out of the wrapper. But with that said, there should be separate systems in place during high volume service hours to dedicate at minimum one competent staff member to slice meat/cheese, and the rest dedicated to the longer process sandwich making process.PS> Stop using the checkout counter in the pharmacy to discuss what your medication affects should do with your hemorrhoid suppository. They have a convenient isolated window to discuss HIPA protected information 10 away and that way I never have to look at another human with such utter contempt. I understand staff dont want to turn away customers actually taking a proactive stance in their care but there is a time and place for it all that doesnt interfere with the twenty people behind you.

Comment: We call this the small oakleaf publix, as the selection compared to the other publix is smaller, but still very good quality. This publix carries things the other doesnt, pasta flour and manteca (lard) being two of the most important things for me. Good beer and wine selection, and good options for organic and specialty foods. And of course, Boars Head products. This location does not have a sushi chef onsite, but they do offer a limited amount of ready to go rolls in case you need to grab a quick bite. Solid selection of kombucha, and their meats are always fantastic quality. Tucked away in Phase 2, this publix is also less crowded than the other location. One of our favorite grocery stores. Dont forget your reusable bags!!!

The deli fried chicken is *almost* as good as Popeyes (my favorite) and defintely better than what I can get most anywhere else. The soup bar is nice too, especially when they have clam chowder.
