The only problem I have is that I can never cash my check here but I seem to be able to do I at every other publix. Makes no sense since they all go through the same check cashing provider.

This was “our Publix” before the hurricane for almost a year and then we got displaced. We just got back in the area and one of the workers recognized me and made me feel so seen and appreciated.They’re always like that in here, they’re all so personable and friendly. Whoever is running this place knows how to do it right. Keep up the good work. This might be the best Publix in the area. ❤️

Comment: Absolutely love publix & would give 5 stars , but DELI PLEASE CHANGE YOUR GLOVES, CLEAN THE COUNTER AND WIPE KNIFE AFTER EVERY SANDWICH. I hate that I feel like I’m bothering the deli clerk when I ask for their gloves to be changed . It’s an issue when you’re touching a visibly dirty oven handle and then touching my sandwich . You could cause allergy issues for someone else if they’re allergic to a sandwich topping you’ve touched on a previous sandwich because you neglected to change your gloves. And the oven mitt you put on is not changing it either , who knows when that was last washed . You may be busy and there may be lines , but I’m sure people would be more appreciative if they see you cleaning between customers .

Comment: Ok so this is a great store pretty busy and great staff for the most part its always stocked and its a great customer experience on several occasions i have had unpleasant and unprofessional interactions here one was with a associate in bakery my 2 year daughter gets excited when we go to publix because like most kids she has learned you get a free cookie and she also likes talking to people we went up there and the lady walked up and looked like we were a inconvenience and my daughter told her what cookie sh wanted and she grabbed the cookie and no sooner the she got ahold of it and smiled and said thank you she was met with a blank look and totally ignored and the associate just walked off and my daughter being two didnt understand why she didnt smile and respond so i explained that people have emotions and sometimes they get lost in them and all we can do is smile and try and shine are light of kindness to help bring em back .truth is if your gonna be dealing with people especially children you should be professional .we all have are days but what sets us apart in a customer orientated job is how we handle those days ..have a blessed day everyone

Shopping was easy and checkout was well staffed with no lines. The parking lot was clean and two Publix employees were collecting carts. It had a safe fell to it. I have only been there in daylight and cannot speak to the night lighting.

Comment: This was a very good Publix. The young lady working the front counter gave us a balloon. She was working even though it was Halloween and she said she could have been at a party with her friends. She made this trip worthwhile. I wish I remembered her name but she was 18 and I believe she was studying to be a doctor.

Comment: Always clean and well stocked. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. Its a smaller store but they always have what I need. They have a good selection of fresh seafood and meat, they will even custom cut steaks for you. Also a good offering of organic produce. Publix tends to be pricey compared to other grocery stores, but sometimes you have to pay a bit more for quality.

Comment: As usual, publix is clean and well organized. Great service and helpful staff. The prices are just a tad higher then discount stores for good reason. Nothing is expired, the produce is always beautifully fresh with great variety and tasty. They buy local and keep our local economy working for us. I am willing to have my grocery book be $5 more than it would be at Walmart for all the immediate benefits that effect our local economy immediately!

Comment: Had an issue with the deli recently. Their response to my complaint was exceptional! I already loved Publix but they went above and beyond. I will remain loyal. They may not be the cheapest in town but the service more than makes up for the slightly higher prices. Most items are competitively priced anyway. Especially with the weekly specials.

Comment: It was a horrible experience. When making my sub they used a knife that they were cutting a chicken sub with and then didnt wipe it of or switch out the knife. Then played the bread down on the board without paper under it right on top of some kind of liquid and crumbs from something else which then was on the bottom of the bread. I then told then dont worry about the sub Im not taking it. The employee then told me maybe I should go somewhere else. I told her dont worry I will and I will start shopping somewhere else as well. Then I left my cart which had about $70 worth of food there. I will shop somewhere elsa. This was the Publix on Orange Grove in North Fort Myers Florida.

When I offered a tip, he politely refused and told me it was against the rules to accept tips. Then he thanked me for my offer. After helping me, he went to a car with a mom and 2 young kids and helped her finish wth her groceries and took both carts back in. Thank you Jacob for your service!

I have interactions with staff from the pharmacy , deli , meat , and bakery departments on a regular basis and they are all always friendly and quick. The cashiers are also the fastest around. I hardly ever have to wait in line. I have found that the customers are usually more nice than other places I shop.

Comment: ALWAYS VERY CLEAN. COURTESY, KIND AND HELPFUL. MUCH Better then the one in Naples, Fl. My daughter purchased over $100 in meats in October of 2013 for a BBQ she was having to Show her newly purchased condo; not to mention the other monies spent for the move & the BBQ. EVERYONE ATE STEAK, EXCEPT ME and I got Hamburgers that gave me FOOD POISON! I was so sick! The next day, she went back, ask for the Manager in charge of their meat dept and the store manager. Long story short.....it was not their meat! VERY upsetting. She now goes to this Publix since she has to stop by on her way from the airport to visit us (her parents. She keeps a cooler in her car or ask us to pick up whats needed for their visit. :)
