Comment: I have shopped at this Publix for years and this Publix as well as several other Publix stores that I have used are always clean, well organized and well staffed with polite, knowledgeable associates. Publix is almost never out of an item on my list including sale items. The service in general is nothing less than impeccable.The Forest Hill location does tend to put too many product tables in the aisle in front of the checkouts which frequently cause traffic jams and doesnt enforce the 10 item limit in express lanes but these are minor issues. Waits to checkout are almost always short and they quickly open more registers if lines grow longer than about 2 people.Publix provides above average service quality and I expect and am willing to pay higher prices for the extra service. I have always read that the grocery business is a low margin (a small % of the sale price goes to the store), high volume business. Publixs prices have always been higher than the competition but the premium is becoming perhaps a bit extreme. I comparison shopped a couple of items on my grocery list recently and was amazed at what I found. A 24 oz can of La Espanola olive oil is $6.98 at Walmart and $11.79 at Publix. An 88 oz, 58 load bottle of All laundry detergent is $11.97 at Walmart and $15.99 at Publix. Publix also seems to get some weird product sizes such as 5 protein bars in a box compared to 6 in a box at other stores.Publixs prices seem a bit greedy or even outrageous. Ill put up with out of stock items, lazy staff and disorganized shelves at Walmart for the significant savings to be had.

Always a pleasant experience, which added to my holiday vibe. When my adult kids were young they looked forward to the mini trolleys! I realize that some customers just dont care and leave the stall a mess, but the bathroom needs more frequent restocking of soap and paper products. Whenever Im there, I stay for at least a hour and need to use the restroom, its always out of these things and needs attention.

Comment: This Publix is in a strip mall which is tucked away off of the main thoroughfare. I like the parking here because theres a lot of trees that give you shade. The inside of this Publix is clean, the aisles are wide and its easy to maneuver. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I did notice that the deli counter, which was surprising to me particularly since it was about 2 in the afternoon, was very crowded. Updating this review March 2022, the trees that I love so much have been taken down. They have been replaced with smaller trees and someday in the future hopefully they will mature and provide the shade that I so much enjoyed. Publix has gone the way of so many other stores and theyre charging more money for Less product. Strangely, and I dont understand why but Publix is the only store that advertises items for sale and then are completely nonexistent. Publix has a website that you used to be able to go to check off the items that you want for the store that you want to visit and then email that to you so they can guide you around the store. For some unexplainable reason you cannot email it to yourself anymore nor can you print it out so you can take it with you. I have been going to Publix for more than 50 years but Im finding that their other stores that can satisfy my needs much better than Publix. Publix BOGO sales are usually good but you still have to know your pricing. I went at 9:00 in the morning and this is a good time to go not too many people. Of course they werent very many cash registers open either but thats one thing that Publix it does very well and that is watch the crowd and open up another cash register when needed. You never see long lines in Publix. Lately, I have found shopping at Publix frustrating. One would think if you had a sale item that you would make sure that it was stocked! I remember the days when people came early into work and stuck the shelves so that when the store open the shells were stocked. What an obscure thought.

Comment: I ordered online and someone took my custom made sub. I only know this because when I approached the deli, Katherine told me she personally made my sub and placed it for pickup. She was so apologetic and immediately went back to make my custom sub again. My daughter (toddler) was somewhat patiently waiting with me and Katherine stole my daughters heart with her kindness! After her help I wasnt even upset someone stole my sub 😂 I was more happy to have the pleasure of meeting this kind and happy staff member. Just got home and the sub she re-made for me personally is above and beyond the best one Ive yet to get from publix (15 year customer) I asked for her last name but she told me that she is the Katherine with orange hair . You would think they would keep them stocked especially if I come in every Saturday and ask for them.. Update: Someone was listening because I now see Calypso cookies when I go in and not just 2 or 3 pks they have several and that makes me a happy shopper thank you

Comment: We all know if you live in Florida Publix is always the place to be disestablishment its always clean well-organized and the staff is always friendly I recommend Publix nine times out of 10 or 10 times out of ten because I have never had a bad experience even when things could have gone wrong they didnt and I applaud the staff and management team way to go Publix

Comment: I frequent this Publix at least once a week. Service is great and employees are on point. They always ask if I found everything well or if I needed help finding something. Managers always seem to be on the floor actively supervising. Recently they seem to be having supply issues though (understandable in todays climate) if you are looking for certain juices/drinks they may not have them in stock. Otherwise, they seem to have just about everything else.

Comment: Publix is always a great place to pick up what you need. Priced a little higher on some items but you dont have to deal with the headaches of some cheaper stores. Awesome fried chicken and subs with plenty of sides to pick up for an easy dinner night.

Comment: VERY clean store and bathrooms!! The employees here are SUPER helpful, so dont be afraid to ask for help in the store. Each time I have been here, there were enough registers open and I didnt have to wait a long time to check out. This is one of my favorite Publix locations. :)

Comment: Update*** they refunded me my money*** Called ahead to see if they had Tanner crab legs. Was told yes...I ordered 3 clusters steamed. When I got home ( after paying over $ 25.00 ) I opened the bag to find what looked like snow crab legs. These were so small and disappointing. I then ran right back up ( at 4:45 peak time there ) and told them I ordered Tanner and received snow instead. They refunded my money which great. ( didnt make up for inconvenience nobody ever does ) Went back to seafood dept to see the crab legs and take a closer look. They had snow crab where the Tanner should of been. No Tanner at all just King, Snow and Dungeness. No more seafood purchases from me. Buyer Beware!!

Customer service is helpful. And I watched the staff help an elderly person with her groceries once she exited the building and it was a nice thing to see. Wish all places helped elderly and disabled people as Publix does!!! 😊

Comment: After walking out of Walmart and leaving my groceries on the belt after experiencing the most rude cashier ever at the self checkout line, I went shopping here instead at Publix. GREAT experience, THANK YOU for not having the stupid self checkouts and instead having friendly cashiers and great customer service. You WIN, Walmart loses. Keep up the great work Publix!!! Ill be back tomorrow to buy everything for Thanksgiving from you now. :)

Comment: This a get supermarket with a lot of choice, the prices are a little lower than the wholefoods. The staff is nice and you get bags with everything. There a lots of healthy options to choose from which is a big bonus. There is enough parking space in front to make it easy

Comment: Went there to pick up some filet, they were all out. Asked the butcher (who was about to end his shift) and he took the time to cut 3 size options fresh. I just moved here from Naples and the butcher at that Publix was rude and would have never done this. I thank this butcher and Publix for coming through for my fiances birthday dinner.
