It was a clean, well presented, and had everything in stock (no empty shelves).Next, the people were very friendly. When I checked out, the cashier and bagger explained to me about the Publix club and welcomed me to Florida.The only reason I give it a four-start rating is because the isles are very close together and tight. They are not as wide as other stores so there is not a lot of room to move with the carts.Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Sometimes the deli staff isnt in the best of moods, but I really think that falls on the staff shortages everyone is experiencing. For some reason the vegetables and fruits are not always fresh, you have to carefully select and handpick nice ones. Never used to be this case when I used to shop in Brandon at Causeway Boulevard. On top of that my favorite batches are the ones I shop at Publix. So Ive been to about 20-30 stores in between Tampa and Sarasota. So believe me when I tell you they are not all created equal! 😆The staff is ALWAYS friendly, helpful and unless a brand new hire extremely knowledgeable. There is always not only an employee close by but a manager too. And they never hesitate to ask how ones day is and if there is anything one needs help with.Besides that they always have everything stocked up. Beautiful fresh produce, meat and baked goods.Cherry on the top is that no matter how busy it is, be it a holiday, pandemic or national emergency there are always enough people working the registers that one NEVER has more then 2 people in front of them in line to checkout. That means on a regular day 9 times out of 10 I am the first person in line. AKA NO LINES!With that being said; I certainly do not give all publixs 5 stars. However if I could I would give this one 6 STARS! They are absolutely flawless! I could not imagine how they could be any better then they already are.Keep up the great work guys! Very courteous. I also love that Terrick had a name tag on that said he knows American Sign Language. Im not deaf but to see another place that shows someone knows sign language is awesome. Comment: I visited on a Saturday evening, it was busy but not crowded. Outside was clean of debris, inside was organized and clean. Everything was easy to find, lines at registers moved quickly, cashier and bagger were very friendly making conversation with us. Overall great experience.

Comment: I love the BOGO deals at Publix. Prices may be higher than Wal-Mart or Aldi, but their buy one get one free deals offset the higher prices of other items. The bakery products at Publix are far superior than any other store as is the customer service.

Comment: We went to publix a bit ago and was looking for some sandwiches for a get together and we didnt have time to order in advance as it was so short notice. As we were searching in the deli area we realized that the premade sandwiches were limited in options and within secs of us looking at the items, we were approached by one of publixs staff name of TJ. He asked us what we were looking for and when he showed us what were available we decided to take a select few although there was a specific kind of sandwiches we wanted. We ended up roaming the store, TJ came and found us to show us more options. Honestly, this is what superior customer service is about. Thank you TJ for making our day!

Comment: Love this Publix and have always had great experience with customer service with any Publix location; however, this location could use some customer service training in their pharmacy dept. My significant other has to pick up medication frequently and always seems to get attitude from the employees at this pharmacy. A little compassion goes a long way!!

Comment: This is my home store and it is slightly above most Publix in stock conditions and overall store success. The deli, as is with most Publix, is understaffed and fails in food production needs and quantities and has messed up my special orders twice since Ive lived in my neighborhood, I still gave it 5 stars because its hard to judge a store on one department and Publix failing to staff correctly.

Comment: About twice a month, my boyfriend buys flowers for me. The flowers are fresh and seem to last well past their expiration date. I almost always purchase our celebration cakes and deserts from this store. Comment: Like most Publix Supermarkets this store is clean, neat and well stocked. The meat and produce departments are full of fresh items. Employees are very helpful and go out of their way to serve you. In contrast with another national chain I was forced to visit yesterday where I could not find anyone to assist me. Publix brand is the industry standard.

Comment: We ordered their mild and garlic parmesan wings the other night and were very impressed with their flavor, size, and juiciness. Even the leftovers tasted amazing! I will definitely order wings from this Publix again and hope to try other flavored wings! Keep up the great work!

Comment: I only come to this Publix to get any of my seafood. Angel has always made my experience the best and he takes his time and gives good advice on the seafood and cooking. My daughter and I love crabs and he is our favorite go to guy. My daughter lives in Tampa and dtives all the way here to Riverview just for crabs and fish. We appreciate Angel.

Comment: My service was very good but my experience in the store was disheartening. In this time COVID 19, there are so MANY people that are no longer adhering to wearing masks and social distancing. Comment: We ordered a beautiful cake for my 15 year old daughters quinceanera party. They did a lovely job and the cake was delicious! I have to say the guests ate almost all of it! Christen did a fabulous job beginning to end and her communication throughout the entire process was impeccable. The associates did an amazing job delivering, setting up the cake, calling me, and texting me pictures from the venue to make shore everything looked beautiful. Thank you again!

Comment: I have to give a special shout out to the special people that make me shop almost exclusively at Publix. Sam, Martin, and James in Deli always go above and beyond to make sure I am well taken care of. Also, Sandro makes the BEST sushi you have ever had - hands down. Ask for the spicy crunchy teriyaki salmon roll and you will not be disappointed. If anyone deserves a raise there, its these folks.

Comment: Moved to this area about a year ago and have went to this location quite often and everything has always been good! Staff is nice as always but sometimes when I walk in you will have those employees that just go above and beyond and tonight was one of those nights. Jacqueline who works in deli department seen me and right away acknowledged that I was there and was just over all super sweet and genuine! Then I went to the bakery and meet Jim who was a really cool guy had convo the entire time and all around a great person as well!I just wanted to make sure these employees get the credit when credit is deserved because of them I will continue to always come back no matter what.Jacqueline and Jim I hope you see this and know that I appreciate all your great customer service!

Comment: Yeaterday I did an online order for aome deli sandwiches. We happen to live by two different Publix and I am still learning which is which. I asked my husband if the summerfield ahoppimg one waa the one by dunkin sougjnuts he says yes. Well no it isnt but I found that out after the fact. So I mistakenly go to the wrong store. When I got there I was a bit early, so I made our drinks and grabbed our chips while I waited for our order to be out . I was standing waiting and an associate asked me if she could help me. I explained I was awaiting an online order and I was a little early. Ahe chexked with other associates and they aaked me if I was at the correct store. I pulled up my email and sure enough I wasnt. They were so kind about the mixup like it happens all the time and happily made my order for me. Made sure I didnt need anything else apologized to me for my mistake and said please come back and see us. This is why I love publix the customer service is amazing.

Comment: Just moved to the area and his was my first time at Publix. We realized we came about 30 minutes prior to closing time, which we normally wouldn’t do but the staff was still really friendly! Multiple employees asked to make sure we were finding everything alright and the bagger even asked if we needed help to the car! Everyone I have encountered is very helpful for the most part and they keep enough registers open so you barely have to wait. The customer service staff is great as well!

Comment: Love this location. A little smaller/lower volume then some but that helps (less crowds ). But it does lead to out of stocks more often as well. But that said, the service is top notch. Shopped prior to Irma and after and no changes to staff attitudes all smiles and helpful

Everyone is friendly and very helpful...right from the bakery to the deli counter to the produce department and throughout the store. Whenever I cant locate an item there is always someone that will gladly assist me. Comment: Very positive energy and extremely friendly staff. The store is well stocked and obviously very clean. There are a lot of managers on site maybe because its a brand new store and all department heads are on deck. This os my preferred Publix, out of any Ive visited in Riverview, FL.
