Another day and back at Publix (08/15/23). Took advantage of BOGOs and digital coupons, and bought a few necessities. So Pasadena was not overly crowded at 4pm, got through quickly & back to the homestead.10/22/23 Back at Publix for the weeks foodstuffs... Want to give a shout out to the Meat Dept, we needed to split a pork tenderloin package, they were more than happy to oblige. Everything we were looking for was in stock and on the shelves.

They always have some of the best produce in town. I rarely have to wait to check out. Either the deli states they dont have the right ingredients, they dont know how to make it, or some variation of both. The ingredients are all about 20-25 feet away from the deli in every publix.I went to the South Pasadena publix, called ahead first, and asked simply if they had the stuff and knew how to make the meatless philly. I spoke with a gentleman named Keith who told me to come in and he will take care of me as he was also vegetarian. He took the time to make my subs to perfection, exhibited exceptional professionalism, and made me feel valued as a customer. It was the best Pub Sub Ive ever had and it was made with so much love. I wish every Publix deli had a Keith.Kudos to you Keith and thank you for going the extra mile for me.Best,JD

Comment: This store most days is a 5 star location — always clean and stocked, nice staff and always someone around to help.My biggest grievance most visits is the deli/meat counter. Everyone there is super helpful, that’s not the issue. I believe it’s understaffed — there’s usually only one person there and rarely two during busy times. I was excited when the precut cooler went up because I felt it would be a good grab and go option for these sort of situations when the counter is 3-4 customers deep. Unfortunately, it too has been completely empty the last few times I’ve gone (during varied times of the day).I’ve gotten to the point where I almost won’t even go to the counter some weeks and buy lunch meat because I don’t have the extra 30+ minutes to wait. Preordering also isn’t a great option as the time windows are usually overlooked on these orders (short staffed).Would love to see some help for the deli peeps!

Comment: Staff are amazing. Very clean. Bakery, flowers, deli, meat, seafood and produce and top shelf. The line staff out in the store are always pleasant and helpful. The liquor store next door is stocked with stamples and some interesting rare finds. Definitely recommend and use as my go to local supermarket.

Comment: Big publix with a liquor store attached. They are ALWAYS super busy. They are located across from a Winn-dixie and a neighborhood WalMart. I find that if too busy, I have options for a quick in and out experience with the other stores.

Comment: This Publix usually has more than the 34th St location. But tonite empty shelves! No water, no creamer, no milk.The options, shop at 3 stores, Go to Publix, Winn Dixie and Walmart if its a necessity.We need a Sprouts or Whole Foods over I. The Maximo Marina area. There are roughly 2000 more residences planned to be built, and our 1 grocery store cannot handle the current volume.Kroger trucks drive all around but they wont deliver to our gated community.Help w food choices.Wegmans where are you when we need you!

Comment: Super friendly and helpful staff! Yesterday an employee, Apryl, was bagging our groceries and pointed out on of our items was BOGO. I was able to go back and pick up my free item. How awesome that she noticed this and brought it to our attention!!

Comment: Good location and usually one of the busier locations.Employees are always friendly.4 stars on the most recent visit only because we ordered subs online and they didnt start making them until we were at the store and waited a little to ask about the status. They were about 45 minutes past the scheduled time but the employee did apologize and they were made accurately.Always clean and well maintained inside and out.

Comment: Always have everything I need. Clean . And always someone to help me with my shopping. Im disabled and cant walk. They always help me and even help me back to my car. BTW , call inside and ask for some one to bring you a shopping scooter out to you. They dont mind at all.Great people and store!

Comment: Always clean and shelves are pretty well stocked. Good newer parking lot, easy in and out, w/ separate liquor store. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. If anything produce is not the highlight and a bit pricey.

Comment: This Publix is my go to neighborhood Publix. I love the smell when you walk in, probably why they place the bakery so close to the entrance...lol! Anyway, the store is always clean, well stocked and there are always employees ready to help. I cant say enough about the employees though, which tells me that Publix is probably a great company to work for because the people who work there do such a wonderful job.

Comment: My fiancee an I went for a sub at the deli & received the most excellent service. Ive never had a better experience at a Publix quick, helpful & polite. The gentleman who made our sandwichs name was Keith he went above an beyond !! Will definitely be frequenting this location an looking for Keith!

Comment: Been going here for over a decade. Great place to shop for groceries. Employees are very kind and always helpful. A bit pricey at times though and occasionally charges you twice when the cashiers mess up.

Comment: Maybe it’s because I frequent 3 other Publix store, but this one was laid out so differently that even after though I went in for 2 things, I feel like I went trough the store twice. Otherwise it was a busy clean Publix!
