Comment: -sigh Hurts me to say this but this particular Publix location is by far the worst Ive ever encountered. The amount of time wasted inside of that place leads to me never going back again. Dont do grocery pickup cause theyll pick rotten fruit and veggies, or theyll just forgot items on the order all together. Although the workers inside are overall nice people, that doesnt mount to them all being efficient. 1 or MAYBE 2 registers open is unacceptable when theres long lines of shoppers attempting to check out in a timely manner. After numerous incidents, I would avoid the deli at this specific location at all costs. In my honest opinion, I would advise any one that plans on shopping at this location for whatever the reason may be, to just go ahead and keep driving to a different Publix and you will have a much better shopping experience.Update: Not sure whats happened since this review but I ended up giving them a couple chances and theyve really redeemed themselves overall. No ones perfect and any one and everyone is entitled to having an off day.

Comment: I asked a manager, Anthony, why they no longer carried my creamer. He checked the stock room, said he would try to get it in. Within two weeks, it was on the shelf. Later, I called to ask why my drink was available only in cans, reminding him of the possible link between aluminum in our diet and Alzheimer’s disease. A few days later, there were many drinks in glass bottles. This is a store going after the business, trying to accommodate customers, is friendly and efficient. Did I mention how clean that store is?? Cudos Publix South Vero Square.

Comment: We come here on vacation from Michigan sometimes and the store is always clean with fresh produce and friendly staff. They always bag and offer to load the bags into the car for us, which seems above and beyond to me, but I know that is a Publix thing…I have to say though that we ordered a cake for my son’s birthday which happened upon our vacation. I don’t usually like cake. It’s usually dry and crusted with sugar and seems like a birthday chore rather than a treat most of the time. But the bakery did an outstanding job! The cake was moist. The frosting was fluffy. The decorations were so nice without being gaudy. It was ready ahead of time and was in the cutest cake carrier. My son loved it and my daughter who is also “not a cake person” had seconds. By golly, this place might have converted two “non-cake-people” into “cake people!” But seriously this Publix is consistently great and now that I’ve also had such a great experience with the bakery, I felt compelled to write a review. This is a great store and I’m always delighted to shop here on vacation. :)

I was going to the Publix on Route 1 in Fort Pierce, but a staff member in bakery was extremely rude. I dont know whether Ill ever go back. But theres no need to. Comment: I got some special Velcro strips. Didnt have T trudge over the BIG store looking for what I wanted.Young lady asked what I was looking for. Then I sat down and chatted with another associate while last asked how much Velcro I wanted and a few minutes later she returned with exactly what I wanted!!!

Comment: I was really impressed with all the Valentine treats they have they had strawberries and hearts they had cheesecake you name it they had everything when you walk in and then you go back to the meat department and they have steaks cut is like hearts and yeah and they have my favorite this time of year is the lobster fettuccine I grabbed the last one of those and every kind of flower you can imagine it was really nice to walk in it made me happy after going to the doctors office today

Comment: This is my favorite Publix. I have a brand new Publix 1/4 mile away. But, this store being 11 miles away, is still my favorite. Its not too big or too small. Just right. Produce is always fresh, colorful and delicious. Meats are perfect. The store personnel are always pleasant and helpful.

Comment: The only Publix in the US that Ive been to that doesnt use the ticket number system at the delicatessen.. very un organized.. and not too friendly. Staff shouldnt have to ask the customers whos next ?. Thats when problems start... Ticket numbers make it fair for everyone. Everything else is top notch.. helpful and friendly staff.. its the deli that needs proper training.. Management issue... The kids who bag groceries tend to want to help customers with very little in their cart to their car... and leave the customer with a lot of groceries having to bag themselves or the cashier... THEN they magically appear when they then offer to help take you out to your car.!! NOTE*** the deli staff and service has improved greatly !! Good Job !!

Comment: First, let me emphasize that this is a great store. The staff is cheerful, helpful, and courteous. It is well ran and it is easy to see that the employees take pride in their jobs. That being said, the store is older and therefore is smaller than other Publix near by. The store has almost everything one would need, but the over-the-counter selection in the pharmacy for example is a bit sparse and is located in a strange location near the exit.I personally use bathroom cleanliness as an indicator of management and overall service quality. The men’s public restroom here is consistently very clean.My only issue is the insistence on bagging even single-item purchases. This is great service for the customer, but bad for the environment. It would be great if Publix trained their employees to simply ask “would you like bag” instead of packaging small purchases in an unnecessary vessel that is just going to end up in a landfill.All in all this is a great store.

Comment: For an older Publix store this is still my preferred store. It is the easiest in finding what you are looking for. Priced competitively. Some good bargains can be found here that you might not find at other Publix stores. Very clean. Adequate amount of employees throughout the store. Always friendly and ready to help if needed.

Comment: Ive been shopping at this Publix for over 15 years and will continue shopping there because its the absolute best shopping experience one can have. Those that post negative remarks may have been in a hurry, tired, fighting with relatives or just people that are unable to express themselves in a calm manner.I call in Deli orders all the time and my order is normally waiting for me when I Arrive; however, I have had to wait on occasion because the Deli was super busy ... In any business the customers standing in front of you come first! As a handicapped person, now, I find the staff ready and willing to assist in emptying my cart at the check out cashier, bagging my groceries and taking them to my car and loading my purchases where I ask them. I realize most stores perform the last part but Publix is tops.Shop here and you will enjoy the experience. If busy, watch the staff work at providing the best customer service available. Please note, I do not work for Publix, Im 72 yrs old now and dont waste my time anywhere incompetence and unprofessionalism exist.

Comment: Publix is always a great place to shop. They always have everything that I need in stock. The lines at checkout at this Publix are a lot shorter than the other Publix supermarkets around town. The staff is great as well you get to know them and they do treat you like family. I would highly recommend Publix to anyone who needs to grab either a few things or the whole week worth of groceries.

Comment: We special ordered some Howards Green Tomato Piccalilli Relish because we were told we could.....we were told by a black manager at that store that it was not available......about 2 weeks later we got a phone call that our relish we special orpered was in......that black manager apparently didnt care about customer service and he lied to us....our experiences at that store have always been good till he lied to us about availibility of this product.
