Comment: We shop for groceries here. But what I really love are the subs they make fresh. I usually get the Italian Sub and my wife has gotten the Holiday Sub (turkey with cranberry sauce) which she says is great. I havent tried it yet, but Im looking forward to getting their chicken finger sub, it looks amazing! Thats on my bucket list for sure. I like a lot of meat and I dont have to worry about that when I get a sub at Publix. Another nice feature is they can use the Publix cold meat or you can get Boars Head for a modest upcharge. They have a weekly special sub also which I got the meatball when it was the special. The meatball is good but my favorite is still the Italian. This week they have the Boars Head Ultimate Sub on special for $7.99. I have a feeling the Ultimate Sub is going to become my favorite. Guess the Chicken Finger Sub will have to wait for another day.

I can understand the days its not on sale for other locations but if its on sale, have some cooked. Dont put the awesome sub on sale and not cook tenders till 10:30. This one deserves a bonus for excellent service.

Comment: Nice little traditional Publix. Excellent customer service, clean and very friendly. Far smaller than the newer super Publix type layouts, but way better in terms of parking, less walking and faster checkout. I do not use self checkout, as that partially defeats the purpose of going to Publix. Without the customer service and higher quality, I would be headed to Wal Mart. The management was very responsive, the staff courteous and friendly and the deli was excellent. If you just need a grocery store and live around Winter Haven, head here.

Comment: Greeted with a friendly smile when I walked through the doors as well as when I left the store. This Publix is one of the few I encountered with self check-out registers. It was a smooth process checking out. I found all of the products I was looking for and the coupons I brought worked great.

Comment: This is my local Publix. Im not sure what to put here except for the fact that they always meet my expectations. If they dont carry a product, just ask them about it and they try to get it in store. Prices are typical of local prices, except the buy-one-get-one deals, which are phenomenal and change weekly. Employees are friendly and although I always say no, they always offer to assist me in carrying my groceries out to the car. I consistently see the same employees over very long periods of time, which I assume means they treat employees well.

Today, one of the managers helped me to my car with my groceries (Ms Devonne), and we had the shortest little conversation, but her words hit a target that made my day a million times better. Just a couple hours earlier, a family member tried to make me feel insecure about my competence. I was shocked about the correlation between the kind words of Ms Devonne and the conversation I had earlier with my family. I was the most pleasant time Ive had in a long time, taking my time, walking every aisle, and actually looking at whats available and new in the stores. Comment: I shop there every week. It is neat and clean and all employees are polite and very helpful. I especially love the Publix app. I can find out all of the specials before i go there, make up my shopping list which tells me what aisles my items are in. Therefore i can zip in and out in a flash.
