Comment: Everyone at the store is very helpful. Check-out cashiers are always very nice and considerate. The store has a wonderful choice of Frozen foods fresh meats and seafood and flowers if youre going to be romantic and take someone a bouquet. There is lots of parking available. Its also handicapped accessible. You can pick up your delivery inside the store or outside the store and wait in your car. The store also delivers orders so if you are inbound just do your shopping online... There is a handicapped entrance and handicap parking available! There is a wonderful hot food bar and they also make fresh sushi everyday!

Garrett presents himself professionally, his manners/customer service skills are impeccable. Ive not had any interesting with the new pharmacist.The groceries, in my opinion, are priced a bit higher than Winn-Dixie, Walmart or Piggly Wiggly.*** When I shop at Publix, I generally shop the BOGO items & the fish market. Comment: Edit: In the end, Publix came through and was more communicative after this review. I am appreciate the help of Bakery Assistant Manager, Chase.BAKERY NIGHTMARE. Really disappointing experience (or ironically, a lack thereof) with the bakery. Two weeks ago, I placed an order in person for a custom cake (just like the website asks you to) -- over four weeks in advance. I filled out the sheet. I left my contact information and double-checked the information for accuracy. I was told the cake decorator would reach out to me to discuss the next steps. I waited three business days. The decorator never called, texted, left a voicemail, or made an attempt to reach out. I called back after the fourth business day and spoke to the a bakery representative who was clueless about the decorators schedule. I called again for three consecutive days, speaking to the same bakery representative every time. She never knew when the elusive decorator actually worked, and she was never in. I left my number for the decorator over the phone. I tried learning what the decorators schedule was. How was I supposed to set an appointment to discuss the custom cake order? No one could give me a straight answer. The one time when the representative told me to call at 8 AM, she was not in. I finally went in to speak with someone after two-weeks of playing games. I left my number for the bakery manager on Thursday, July 28, who was supposed to come in later that day and did not call me back. I have yet to hear back from ANYONE at Sun Plaza Publix. I dont know what to do. After leaving this review, I must surrender to the idea that Sun Plaza Publix CAN NOT be trusted for special cake orders or event planning. EXTREMELY disappointed.

The store is clean and well-lit, plus they have the energy saving lights in the freezer/refrigerator section that only come on if someone is nearby. They have a deli inside this store and in that deli theres an employee named Jordan who absolutely made my day today. This man sliced meats at speeds I didnt know possible. I asked for 1.39 pounds of ham and this man weighed out the exact amount for me on his first try. Truly remarkable. Not only is this man the best meat slicer ever to grace a deli but he also made my entire family pubsubs In a matter of seconds. They were the best culinary creations I have ever feasted upon. I dont know what I did to deserve such amazing service with a bright smile but I thank the heavens that this magical employee graced my presence today. Actually, best of all is the super friendly and helpful staff that, surprisingly, really seem to want to help you find something, take the time to talk about it with you and offer suggestions to make your shopping experience excellent. For instance, i found a great wine in New Orleans and mentioned it briefly while getting a receipt corrected, and the manager ordered a case on the spot! Comment: My husband and I were shopping for a soap that was needed for my husband to use prior to surgery. We did not know where to look but store employee Robbie took the time and helped us look. He didnt just point us in the direction we needed to go but took us there and did not leave until he found it for us.He took approx 5-10 minutes with us. He also helped us find another item. He was very professional and pleasant. The shelves were well stocked and the store was clean. Thank you publix and thanks again to Robbie.

Comment: My wife and I went into this Publix tonight and we got some dinner from the deli. Their food was very fresh which was a surprise since we arrived later than expected (around 8pm).Next we went over to the produce section and took a look. We found a bin of small watermelons and my wife and I were try to decide which one to get. We were sharing our technique on how to choose a sweet watermelon. A few moments into this conversation a young man approached us (Drew) and asked if we needed any help.Naturally trying to prove to my wife that my method of picking watermelon was superior I asked this guy to tell us the produce secret to findingthe best watermelon. And he shared one Ive never heard until tonight. He likes to pick his watermelon based on the space between the dark green lines. He said its best around 2 fingers widthSkeptical as hell we grabbed the melon and thanked him.Boy let me tell you when we got home it was the perfect amount of sweet and juicy. I couldnt believe it. I had never heard of that trick before and Drew I will take this method everywhere.My wife and I had a lovely dinner at our AirBnB and we will be back again this week!

Comment: You can always find something new and interesting at Publix. Our. Special find this trip was twice baked potatoes with a twist. They had a LOT of shrimp and crab mixed in with the potatoes. OMG were they ever good. FYI They can be found in the seafood section of the store if you are interested in trying them.

Comment: I love shopping at Publix. Usually very food customer service, attentive staff and the BOGOs are great. I can find items stocked here that arent found at a lot of other stores. I use their app, which gives occasional discounts and makes paying touch free. I absolutely love their Italian subs! Yesterday I bought their wings to give them a third and final chance though. Save the money..consistently the worst wings Ive had. Overall, a great store. You can tell they treat their employees better than average, by the way employees treat the customers.

Dreading getting trampled on by panicked shoppers trying to buy tp and dreading the rude and selfish attitudes that follow a state of panic. Tonight I experienced none of these. The toilet paper was gone but the store was not overrun, the employees were very polite, friendly and happy to help. The store even stayed open 45min after the closing time to let the customers in the store finish their shopping. I’m amazed that, amongst the chaos that seems to be happening everywhere, this was actually one my more pleasant trips to a grocery store.

Comment: I love Publix. Best grocery chain in Florida. My one complaint that stops me from five star rating — expired goods on the shelf. They have for a long time consistently failed to move out expired stock and its frustrating. If you don’t spend the time to carefully check each item you will inevitably discover at home expired items ranging from dairy to dry goods. All that said, the bakery is great. Called back, Christina in Deli did an excellent job of gathering info and giving to manager. Upon my arrival, the manager Beth was extremely professional and polite. She walked with me to Deli, insured I I received correct order , and took care of my lunch cost for the inconvenience! Also wanted to mention Martha who called manager, kept me informed of progress and happily checked me out. Great job of turning around a negative shopping experience. Thats true Customer service!
