Comment: Fruits and veggies are always fresh and adequately priced. Meats tend to be higher priced than other supermarkets, but, the selection is great and quality is unmatched. Staff is accommodating and dont always just point to where your product can be found, they sometimes escort you to the aisle. Excellent customer service on the floor and at the desk.

Comment: After 21+ years Vishwanie is retiring I love this store and the people in it. Ellen in Floral department has the sweetest effect and has also been there for many years. Marie in the deli is a front runner and Mohammed in Produce is very knowledge just a few people I’ve had a pleasure getting to know. Jean Claude is an excellent custodian and is always on top of keeping the premises thoroughly clean and safe.The management is wonderful and the food selection is plentiful my only complaint is not having a second floor balcony when conducting the remodel. This is one of the busiest Publix’s in the entire Bay Area you will hardly find any else as busy as this one. The dinning options surrounding the store are plentiful and diverse the area offers plenty to explore could not ask for a more prime location for a Publix.Thank You to all the staff at 1578 and to our delightful customers it’s a pleasure to serve you all.

The deli associate named Nasha was extremely friendly when I finally made it to the counter. She apologized for the wait. Asked me my name and called me by it. Made my experience amazing. I normally don’t get any interaction by associates. This was brand new for me. She gave me suggestions on what I should add to my sub to make it better. Absolutely amazing turnout with my sub. Phenomenal! I will send any friend of mine to request Nasha to take care of them in the deli. Comment: We have been to this Publix many many times. It is always a great experience. However, today was different. It was amazing. We were going to the Publix deli and we noticed they didn’t have chicken tenders. It was pretty late, so it was fine but one employee who was cleaning said they had a few more left. She was awesome and amazing. We stayed in line and Akeem made our sandwich. He was nice, patient, funny, and friendly. He made our sandwich with care. He gave awesome customer service and just and over the top experience there. Akeem is awesome!!

Comment: You will find there are two publix very close to each other around USF. This is the better of the two with more selection. Publix is always high quality for meat and produce and this location keeps up those standards. Nice deli counter and usually a short wait and efficient checkout experience.

They also offer inside and outside booths and tables so you can enjoy your delicious Publix meal and sandwiches. The staff is always curious and welcoming. Comment: Great store. Clean and always have carts. Good service and selection. Temple Terrace Publix could learn from this location. You do have to be careful not to let your cart go because the parking lot is graded away from the store. I worry about getting hit or hitting my own car when loading groceries.

Comment: My favorite thing to get from Publix is their apple pie. I purchased an apple pie that looked over cooked ( all of them did and the peach pies ) but bought it anyway. I tasted at home and it tasted like it looked, overcooked! I went back the next day to exchange it and the pies they just put out were also overcooked. I exchanged the pie for something else. They gave no problem with the exchange.. but I just wanted a good tasting pie.

Found exactly what I wanted thanks to the publix app. If you type in what item you want it tells you the exact isle where you can locate it. Comment: This is the first time Ive been in a grocery store that has a salad type bar and a little sitting area for eating. Like the sandwiches and other foods that you can buy that are ready to eat. It is very nice. Its in an area set off to the side, so theres a bit of privacy. I didnt eat there, so I cant attest to how it would operate. Just think it is a Very nice asset. This store itself is huge. I cant imagine that it would be missing any items. I also noticed that there are plenty of staff members who were stocking shelves, cleaning areas. Each staff had the same high standards that I have come to expect from Publix.

The building and landscape is beautiful inside and out and the customer service is wonderful. Comment: As with most of the Publix stores, clean wide open layout, great variety of brands and items, and well stocked.They have a good sized butcher and although their fresh beef, pork & chicken may be costly at times, it is excellent quality.Nice Bakery area with delicious fresh baked goodsThe deli features Boars Head products.The seafood area offers a large selection of fish and shellfish.Their fresh produce area is huge and all fresh.I would definitely go back there when in the area.

Never been in this Publix location before (always went to the one on Busch Blvd) As soon as I walked in, a lady greeted me and offered me a cart. I only needed to go to the pharmacy. She showed me where it was. The people in the pharmacy were extremely helpful and caring. When leaving, the lady that greeted me when I got there, ask if I had found what I needed and wish me a good day. They made a bad day a little more cheerful for me. Im switching stores, never been treated this nicely at the other store.

A freshly cleaned cart was given to me. The employees working out on the floor were all asking customers if they were finding everything ok. And it ended with a very pleasant cashier at check out. Its pretty rare to have such a pleasant shopping experience. Somebody at this store is doing a fantastic job of training their employees. Congrats Publix!!

They almost always only have 2-3 registers open, including the customer service counter. Definitely need to have more open for busy days & times of the yr, like holidays.

Comment: I had forgotten what pleasure it was to shop at Publix. Each section is clean and beautifully stocked, the employees very professional, friendly and helpful. We had our wedding coming up and still didnt have a cake. We went 3 weeks prior to and were directed to the catering service. The young Lady (I forgot her name) who took care of our cake was so helpful. She made me feel like we were getting a precious gem. When we came to pick up the cake, it was ready in a big cardboard box for safety. The cake was gorgeous and delicious. Thank you Publix

I would also like to give special recognition to all the ladies in the bakery. They always go above and beyond to assist us and are extremely knowledgeable of all their products. Theyre always busy yet always have time to answer anything you want to know. Overall, this store is by far the cleanest, most organized and well ran grocery store Ive ever shopped. In July of 2019 the legacy store closed to make way for a complete store rebuild from scratch. After what seemed like a long one year wait, the new store was revealed and it is great to say the least. Thank you Publix, nice job.

I picked up 2 New Amsterdam 1.75 L bottles @ 17.99 ea plus another $6 off for buying 2. They were only $30 together plus tax. Cannot beat that anywhere around here!!!

Comment: This is my go to Publix, the employees are nice for the most part. The managers are lot more attentive and my last visit I had 3 including the store manager looking for an item I wanted. I love the attention and care they take when I need help finding something and their return policy makes it super convenient for me to try something new without being afraid Im wasting money.My only complaint if would be a lot of times my items dont seem to stay in stock and I have to either venture to another Publix or just hope it comes in next week. However I was informed I could order any item and if possible theyd have it shipped in special for me so thats a great comfort to know.

Comment: Publix is considerably the best market in Florida, and this was my most favorite place to shop. The items were high quality and might be a little bit pricier than some other markets, but sometimes there were fantastic deals like BOGO Haagen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry ice cream or BOGO delicious Pepperidge Farm cookies. Also, there were vast selections of fresh steak and seafood, not to mention raw out-of-the-sea oysters, scallops, and lobsters. Boar Hogs subs were to die for. We often visited here to get some hot lunches. Also, the bakery was excellent.

Comment: Ive been shopping there for years and always loved this store. Great service, clean, well organized, attentive & friendly staff including the super efficient pharmacy. I happily mention they hire a few challenged people as baggers; nice, competent people. And the many college students who work there seem to love their jobs. George Jenkins would be proud. I knew him in the 60s when I worked for Publix 5 years.
