Then Campbell in the bakery hand made us a batch of chocolate cupcakes because they only had variety packs of cupcakes and I was only wanting chocolate. A+ we will shop here again!

We went home with a big mixed chicken box and it was good.I also signed up for the membership while I was in the check out line and bam! we got $5 off. I love that all I had to do was enter my information online, verify my number via text and I was able to enter my phone number at the register and we got the discount.We also enjoyed the stand on scale just inside the front doors.

However when it comes to stock, Publix has everything you need 👌I must appreciate how easy it is to identify what is organic or on sale. I had two prescriptions from two different doctors: my primary care doctor and one from my psychiatrist. They only gave me the one from my primary care doctor.This was my second trip of the week to that pharmacy as they did not have the medication the first time I went there.Except for that, the pharmacy staff is lovely.

Comment: This is my closest Publix and used to be my go to Publix. But after seeing other publixes around Gainesville remodeled and updated, Im a little disappointed that this Publix feels like its being left behind. Dont get me wrong this is still a great Publix to shop at. Its clean, well stocked, the employees are phenomenal. Its just that Ive seen other publixes receive updates and renovations and this Publix is still the same as 10 years ago. Hopefully management will be able to renovate this Publix with new styling and features

The cake its self was made with the wrong color as well.They remade the cake and then used the wrong frosting and it melted.They did try to make sure we were happy but there was not enough time to redo the 90 cupcakes. Comment: Customer Service is what sets Publix apart from most supermarket chains; this store is a great example!Returning an item to a store can be stressful, not here. Publix policy states We will never knowingly disappoint you. If for any reason your purchase does not give you complete satisfaction, the full purchase price will be cheerfully refunded immediately upon request.Thats exactly what they did, with a smile.After that, a Publix employee on one of the grocery aisles helped me, then another helped in produce.A well run store in a well run organization. These people are great!

Comment: I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for years. I would not go anywhere else even if you paid me. Pharmacy staff are always helpful and when I lost my insurance, they always searched for a lower price for my medications. Truly one of a kind.

Comment: I called 3 previous Publix and tried to order some cupcakes today (my daughter and Is favorites). All the other Publixs just stated they didnt have any. I finally made an online purchase for the cupcakes at this location. The bakery ladies are amazing!! even though they didnt have any in stock, they made a batch for us!! Im so surprised and appreciative of the level of customer service these ladies have provided. Ive becoming a new returning customer and they dont even know! thank you again! ( I later found out the cupcakes I was trying to order werent in season)

Comment: Excellent store, excellent pharmacists. Ive been a patron there for over two decades, and I dont recall a single concern or complaint Ive had with this location during that span. As for the pharmacy, you couldnt hope for better additions to your medical team. They are all helpful, and most are knowledgeable, perceptive, and dedicated.Whenever Im in a county/city that doesnt have a Publix, its this location that I wish I could be walking into.If you can visit, do yourself a tremendous favor (that you will never be able to repay, but dont worry about it) try the chocolate milk made by the Promised Land company that they stock here... Its... So... Freaking... Good.

Comment: Bonnie is all I need to say about this store!!! Her customer service was BEYOND AMAZING!! I’m not sure what her title is on the management team but I can tell she is an amazing supervisor who delegates well, talks to others with respect, and can handle issues quickly as they arise. One of the cashiers rang up my groceries incorrectly (not fault to her... I believe it was truly a button that was mistakenly pressed). Bonnie came in and was extremely apologetic. She opened up a new line just for my boyfriend and I to re-ring up the grocery items. What I was impressed with was that, she had to un-ring each item that totaled around 260+. While doing that- she was able to delegate tasks for closing procedures. Was able to refund my money and redo the process of checking us out again. Staff even seemed to be impressed. Bonnie- I am so thankful to have met you and it was truly amazing to watch you work, be kind, and close up the store all at once. I never really go to Publix but I just found my favorite one in GVN ❤️ THANK YOU!!

Comment: I just want to express how well our experience at this store was so great. We had to stand in line outside as we should to keep the number of people in the store at a safe level. The employees were sanatizing the carts before us customers were aloud to get one. We were treated very well and they took every precaution to protect us and them from this virus. This was the third grocery store we had been to trying to find toilet paper for friends that had serious health problems plus 5 other stores. We luckily could find some there. We are getting low and was going to get some for us but there was a limit of one. No problem. We will be shopping at Publix from now on.

Comment: All Publix stores have wonderful friendly associates, ready to help if needed. They are well stocked in various products. Items in the bakery, produce, deli, fresh meat and fish are always fresh. I love the specials like buy one get ones and other sale prices. The stores are always neat, clean and well oranized. We also have our prescriptions filled at the Publix pharmacy. All the pharmacists and pharmacist technicians are very nice and helpful. Publix also gives back to the community by sponsoring various charitable events throughout the year.

If you ask where something is, they will not tell you...they will literally drop what they are doing and take you directly to the specific location of the item themselves. the store is always super clean and there are never long lines like at other stores. Comment: The employees are great and always helpful. My only grievance being that the deli can be hit or miss, specifically the bread. I didnt go to the deli for a few months because of dry/stale/crumbly bread. (This happened 3 times consecutively) However, this seems to have improved over the past few weeks. I only hope that this improvement sticks. The store as a whole is always clean and well organized, with staff that are always friendly and eager to help. I will continue to do my shopping there as its my Publix!

Comment: As is the case with ANY Publix market, this store is excellent. The produce is always fresh, the meat is always cut and portioned into convenient sizes. If you want more or fewer pork chops or if you want your steak cut a little thicker, just ask a butcher.Remember that you get what you pay for so if you shop off the top shelf, you must expect to pay a bit more. (Always check out their BOGO section in the front of the store!!!)The staff is very helpful but not obtrusive and you never have to look long to find the assistance you may need.The store is always clean and the shelves are well stocked and neatly arranged.All in all, I enjoy shopping for groceries here.

Comment: This location is easy to find, very clean, and pretty much always fully stocked.Parking is as expected in the shopping complex, and there isnt really a convenient cart return, so you either have to will your car back in or have the Publix people walk out with you.Theres lots of other businesses surrounding the store as well, so you could hit up this location in conjunction with your other activities. there are two Banks, a Jiffy Lube, a Duncan, and several small restaurants.

Comment: Its not the best Publix in the city. However if you live nearby or if its on your way home it could be quite convenient. Leaving Publix and exiting on the side where 39th Avenue is might be troublesome. If youre used to a different Publix the inside might be confusing. If its busy you might be waiting in a line thats taking up the front Isle of the store. Despite all that, shopping is still a pleasure.

Of anything negative about the people who works there! at the 13 and 39st in Gainesville Florida location, their chicken is flawless and so delicious, especially with their blue cheese they sell at the produce isle. If you want the best food that is cooked to order, ask for Chef Becca, she is the GREATEST CHEF IN THE WHOLE STORE. SHE IS FLAWLESS. She also trains the other cooks in the kitchen too!. BECCA puts all of her heart into her cooking and TLC. She is a very hard worker, she is a very huge asset to Publix $$$. If I owned a restaurant I would pay her TOP PAY $$$, SERIOUSLY. I am a Advocate Couponer and they act as if they are EXCITED to see us Couponers, Unlike how Palatka Store has acted towards Couponers. Comment: This is my favorite Publix! Employees are always friendly, never a long line! I am a very regular customer here and the deli employees always go above and beyond. The guys in the meat department (Tom) are always telling me to ask if I need a special cut. The produce department is always well stocked and full of fresh fruit and veggies. If I even come within 10 feet of a stock person they are quick with a pleasantry or offer to help find something. As a manager of a restaurant I recognize and appreciate great customer service.
