Comment: I love this Publix, super clean, staff is friendly, like super friendly and knowledgeable. The customer service in each department is amazing. Today I visited the deli, too many things at work so I need it to grab something delicious to eat and get back to the office. It never disappoints! I was in and out in a heartbeat, order was perfect, and please know they not only have subs, they have mac and cheese, chicken, pork, fries, I mean you name it they have it. You can make it a combo if you like, and they also have family meals....super convenient. I love it!

Comment: Hi everyone, today I went to my Publix store at Dr. Phillips plaza next to my house which ever since theyve been my grocery store, first time ever having such a negative experience in any grocery store. At the wing bar they have a container that sells for 15.99 the container for 20 wings, well when I went to pay Kia didnt know how to charge for it so she got Daliki, she was kinda rude asking me how many wings were in the container, I lost count of how many I put in so I told her I really didnt know exactly, since she is giving a hard time about how many wings are in the container I say that I no longer want the wings, I pay for my other groceries and walk past Daliki whole she is gossiping about me not knowing how many wings I had, I felt indignified so I told them to give me the container that I will count it again, so I got a glove and counted rhe wings,I had 1 over, so all this show and making me feel uncomfortable for this. I told a manager on duty which said he was new and that he would be telling the store manager but man oh man, talk about making a customer feel like they are stealing, I mean how many extra wings can you fit in that small container, its not like I put 50 wings in it. Ithink Daliki should be spoken to and told how to treat customers, I was being as politr as possible. What an experience, I hope the store manager reads this and this is straightened so no other customer feels this way.Thanks for your attention.

The produce is fresh, and the prices are reasonable. Their Deli area makes great sub sandwiches. They are open seven days a week until 10 PM.As testament to how extremely popular Publix is in my neighborhood: we have TWO Publix locations that are literally right across the street from each other, on opposite sides of Sand Lake Road, within about two blocks of each other... and both locations are always busy. That is astounding.

Comment: **Update: the previous grocery manager left, having a harder time getting regular updates for my special orders. Went in today to find out that rather than contact me when the special order expired they let it expire only a couple weeks after my last call to check in on it. Thats very frustrating **Ive had to make a number of special orders and the grocery manager has been amazing. Sometimes you get a bad day but this staff is wonderful at their jobs. They take personal responsibility to answer or find the answer when Ive had to ask a question.

If I had to compare it to something, Id say Vons or Vons Pavilions!Lines tend to be long as you are in the resort area.Again, Publix is your primary grocery store in Central Florida. Its a great store so please dont misunderstand my remarks. You can find a Winn Dixie, Walmart, even a Target if you look around. But Publix is the big boy in town. They own the market!Lastly, if your looking for booze? Don count on finding a large selection in the grocery store. All stores have a liquor store attached to them. If not directly, its one or two doors down from the primary market.The good stuff (almost all of the booze) is sold in one of these stores? Im not sure if it harkens back to the dry county thing, prohibition, the Bible belt? I really dont know why its like this but it is.

Comment: Chelle in catering services at Publix Store #1439 assisted me with an order and delivery to a new real estate office, Whitty Real Estate Group that had just opened in Turkey Lake Plaza. I had pre-ordered with both Bakery and Floral but at the last minute had a delivery issue and didnt want to cancel. So I called the service desk and the gal connected me to Chelle. In the moment, what seemed to me like a quarterback throwing an impossible catch, was quickly resolved. Chelle not only took on my issue without hesitation, but she carried it into the end zone for a touchdown, lol! She scored BIG, not only with me, but the new real estate team!! I also want to thank Delores in Floral for making a beautiful arrangement and Amney in Bakery for the amazing gourmet cupcakes! But overall... Chelle was the champion of this event and I am so grateful for her help!!

The store is clean, well stocked and even has a cooking school. It can get pretty busy, especially with the Instacart shoppers who can be super aggressive-theyll push you out of the way and cut you off etc. But the store is great! Excellent produce selection and meat selection-butcher is friendly and helpful. Staff are friendly and lines move pretty quickly.

Comment: This store is a pleasure to shop in. They have pretty much anything that you will need, from sushi to souvenirs, they have it all. Anytime I have shopped here the staff have been friendly and welcoming. The produce is always fresh and top grade. The bakery always has nice treats and the deli and cheese counter is always well stocked. There are always beautiful bouquets in the flower section and they have nice plants and balloons. This Publix has a cooking school and a nice selection of wine (they have a separate liquor store). As you weave through the store you will find a great selection of meats, and dairy (as well as non-dairy options) and the shelves are always well stocked. The pharmacy is well equipped and it seems this store has it all (bbq and pool supplies too). Employee Frank (one of the managers) is always very helpful and friendly. Such a nice store.

Comment: The staff was friendlier than the customers. People shopping were really rude. It was my first time shopping there, I normally shop at the one on sandlake. Customers would bump into me and didn’t say sorry or excuse me. People were over crowding the entrance and didn’t make enough room for others to pass through, which made a few middle age women mad and they kept yelling passive aggressive remarks. It was very crowded too on a Saturday so that’s probably why. I felt bad for the employees having to deal with customers like that.

Comment: This is how ALL Publix stores should be! It’s the reason you go to a lot of different stores AND Publix combined that and made one great store with all of those delicious offerings. That being said I would like to see a lot more Publix stores in Central Florida designed and stocked with the products they offer at this store. This is a high-end area and it also caters to tourists. The sushi was REALLY good. I asked the associate for extra ginger and he accommodated me. It was delicious! There is a seating area similar to Whole Foods. The store is busy, there’s plenty of parking with easy access to the store. I don’t know that I want to drive across town and deal with traffic though just to experience of all the delicious fresh food they offer here. There’s a Sprouts in Winter Park - i’ll stop again if I’m in the neighborhood but I think I’ll stick to my side of town.

I asked one of the employees for help and he walked me to where it should be. Unfortunately the twine was out of stock, but he directed me to the butcher where they cut some twine at no cost to me. That saved me a trip to another store and exemplified great customer service, which is why I will continue to be a loyal customer.

The variety of products and vegetables is better than most other Publix markets. They go out of their way to help you and I dont think there is one employee there that has not given 100%. Its always clean and has a really nice set up so things are easy to find. The cafeteria area is a nice plus because its a one stop shop for all varieties of food that you would be craving so you never leave disappointed! If I could tip employees here, I would each time!

Comment: I always have a great experience at this store. Not to exclude any other Publix, its just that ive been shopping here recently. The store is always clean and inviting, however it is the employees that make Publix shine. Ive recently moved here from the northeast. There, Sop&Shop is the big supermarket chain of choice. I cant help but think if Publix was up north and was able to provide the same stellar service they provide here, they would give S&S a run for its money. If your from somewhere else or here and dont know any better than i want to let you know Publix is probably one of the best supermarket chains ever!
