Comment: Very nice ppl that work here in the evening right before dinner time however this place stays very very busy I reckon cuz where its located at and the parking lot isnt too big almost cant back up in a spot and turn around all the way in one setting u have to do it in 3 or 4 turns to kane a complete turn out if the parking lot. But I think the niceness of the ppl and their great attitude actually make those little things doable. Just cant bring the whole family when ur shopping maybe come and shop to have some free time. This would be a good place to do so.

Comment: All Publixs should be designed in this manner. The flow of the L layout feels more natural. Refrigerated items all along the outer walls, even the vertical wooden displays, they not only save space but also give it a modern rustic look. They truly did a lot with the limited space when designing it.

Comment: Went to this Publix to pick up a prescription for our UF student while we were visiting from out of town. The Pharmacist was amazing! She patiently explained why we were having an issue getting the medication processed and then offered a solution! She took time to listen to our needs and went above and beyond to provide care and set the situation right. It was VERY busy and yet they treated us with kindness and were completely capable of solving our problem. So impressed and grateful that a compassionate and professional pharmacist is so close to help our student when they are in need. Thank you!

Comment: This was our main grocery shopping store that was within walking distance before we moved. All the staff were consistently very friendly and helpful. Browsing the aisles any staff member walking past would always ask if we needed help and if we could find everything we needed. Bakery staff had been exceptional, supplying us with fresh loaves that hadnt been stocked onto the shelves yet. The prices varied but we usually stuck to specials as some items were a bit out of our budget.Parking was frequently an issue especially around peak times, we often had to drive around in circles in the relatively small parking lot, waiting for someone else to leave. Otherwise I would recommend going during quieter times, early mornings were good for us when we walked there to pick up only a handful of things.

Comment: Considering that real estate in Central Gainesville is a Dantes Inferno of exorbitant rent prices, nightmarish traffic and M.C. Escher-esque road design, its honestly impressive that they were able to squeeze a Publix out here on 13th and University. Not only that, the selection and availability of items is surprisingly broad. I actually tend to think that this Publix is better than the one on Archer Road, and its easier and faster to navigate too. They have a fully operational deli, bakery, pharmacy, and produce section. Parking can be a bit of a frustration point due to being in a high-traffic area and not being allowed to park at the inn across the street when theres overloading, but this is not an issue for scooters. Having a Starbucks right inside the store is also a nice feature as well, and as far as I know, its operated by Publix employees. Aside from the Publix @ The Exchange, this is a convenient grocery stopping point for anyone who takes 13th home from campus.

Comment: Super convenient location but it is often missing what you need. Also, the employees at this Publix are not nearly as nice as the ones at the surrounding other locations. Still very useful though because of its proximity to campus and a bunch if apartments.

Comment: I have been a Publix shopper for as long as I can remember. My Father retired from the company. And as far as I’m concerned Publix supermarkets is the standard. I expect, but still amazed, with the idea, and working model, of human imagination, and inspiration, known as Publix.However Mr. Zeb McClendon, of the produce department exceeded Publixs high standards. Where to begin? The professionalism, empathy, discipline, class, and very rare, transparency immediately puts you in awe. As a customer and fellow human being.Someone I care about deeply is going through a rough time, and I was led to the store, to get a bouquet, but nothing quite grabbed my attention for this special moment……… until Mr. McClendon inserted himself into the situation, and decided to create a solution. (Bless him) With all due respect, he created the most amazing bouquet I have ever seen. (It was inspired, by whom, or what , I do not know)I am forever in Mr. McClendon’s Debt, and Publix’s as well. Bravo. BRAVO.

Comment: Clean, well stocked, and excellent customer service there is nothing to complain, its Publix there id a standard that NO OTHER Marketplace has, that Publix has among all the stores i have ever been in. I am not affiliated with them, never worked there, and I can be a critical reviewer. And still have never had a Publix issue at any location that was not taken care of immediately.

Comment: This urban Publix conveniently close to the University of Florida is small footprint store with much of the variety of a larger Publix. Additionally, this Publix has a large dedicated island for prepared food such as sushi and subs. Full and self service checkouts make it easier for a quick trip.The parking lot has motorcycle parking and can be entered from 13th street (US 44) northbound or from the north side of the store.

Comment: The publix to go to close to campus. This place has just about everything any other publix has and it’s so close to campus. Parking can get very crowded on the weekend and around 6 p.m. but people have to shop. Staff is always nice and the place is always clean. Typical publix experience!

Comment: Wonderful smaller Publix. Staff is very helpful and the store is very clean. Has a nice deli area and bakery. Well stocked and easy to access from Highway 441/NW 13th street. Adjacent to it is a Starbucks as well. Across the street are various eateries and a small Target and Krispy Kreme.

Comment: Clean and organized grocery store. Staff was friendly and everyone was wearing masks. Eli at the deli counter was very helpful and cut great thin-sliced roast beef 👍 Tori was our cashier and was very efficient. Thanks for making our 2nd visit pleasant.I wont be able to give 5 stars since products that are available in other stores at lower pricing are slightly more expensive here.Would recommend this place if you dont mind spending a little more for your daily grocery items in a cleaner, friendlier atmosphere.

Comment: Love this store, mostly for the sandwich shop. The subs are incredible — I would never imagine they came from a big name grocery store. Wish it was present in the Northeast! You can order online and pick up in the store.

Comment: This is the smallest Publix I have ever seen. They have more than I would expect in such a tiny package. Do not expect the large family packaging but you can expect a large variety. If you are looking for an item that college students might want, you will find it here. The carts are smaller than normal. Walking the aisles is like dancing with other customers since they are narrow. The deli is always packed and service there is sometimes spotty but overall service is very good. The full service lines are frequently empty while self service is always full.

Comment: Very kind and courteous employees. Every interaction I’ve had with an employee has been pleasant. They are knowledgeable and truly go out of their way. I’ve been going here on a weekly basis since September and they truly have the nicest employees. I would not recommend the pharmacy due to inconsistent hours however, the market itself is terrific and has everything I need.

Comment: A starbucks and publix in one. I love all of the pre-made meals available. This Publix makes being a full time student very convenient and cost efficient. Stop in for a quick meal, a pub sub, some coffee, or just for a good spot to get some work done. Cant go wrong with Publix!

Comment: Love Publix. This is a smaller version of Publix but still adequately stocked. Love Starbucks in Publix. Parking here is very limited so you may have to drive around a bit to find a spot. I suppose there are probably people parked there that go anywhere along the immediate strip and park extended periods of time??? Of course, be aware since its a college town, probably 99% of the store students.

Comment: This store is very clean each time we shop here. The employees Ive encountered on the sales floor are very helpful and approachable. I am hopeful that they will soon be able to staff produce in the way the store at 34th Street and Williston Road does so I can get my breakfast parfait at breakfast time. The gentleman I asked about the flavor I buy went straight to the back and asked if there were any Pineapple and Strawberry yoghurts ready, with no problem. He came back to let me know that the people who prepare them hadnt gotten started on those yet and that it would be later today. I do understand, but I also know that they can make them on the spot when needed. My husband ran into the same issue at the other store yesterday and the lady he asked to check for them in produce told him that they were out, but to hang loose a minute and she made it right away. I know its a small thing for most, but it is huge for me, and now I know which store I should shop in.

Comment: Very clean and fresh grocery store with friendly courteous staff. Smaller store with reduced but specialized selection catering to the needs and popular items with university students. Noticeable focus on convenience products. Includes a fair selection of budget items. Layed out for easy quick in and out. This Publix is open later than typical hours of their other stores in this region. Parking for cars is limited. But lots of dedicated motor scooter and bicycle parking. Clearly set up for area students

Comment: This one goes out to DANNY in the Bakery. This guy is awesome and a problem solver!!! I had a cake made on main street for the wrong day and it was held too long I was told I would have to come pick up my refund and that they would need a 24 hour advance notice to remake the cake. Well today is my 4 year olds birthday!! Danny called over to main street and figured out the whole thing and basically ended up making my little girls cake at such short notice!!! Danny you are the real MVP!!! Thank You!!!

But my only complaint is my popcorn chicken we brought was not hot at all. They were Luke warm barely lol maybe they should keep theyre hot foods under a hotter lamp or in a better warmer. But I love this publix so far its smaller and very convenient.

Comment: Everyone here is so heckin nice and this location is so convenient. Despite being a smaller store, all of the products are impeccably arranged, therefore they can accommodate a full range of items despite their size. The only complaint I have is that parking can be a headache, particularly at the end of the work day. However, I think its arranged in the best possible way given the amount of space they were allotted.
