Comment: We used this supermarket for our Stay in St Augustine as it was a 5 minute drive from our accommodation. The store was big and tidy and had plenty of organic options. Whilst others mentioned their poor experience with staff , we had no issues whatsoever in fact we had an extraordinary experience. Cashiers were chatty and gave us tips for things to do around here. As we had a two week stay on numerous occasions we used the delivery option which I know is done through a third party however ,everything still went smoothly

Comment: I was visiting in Vilano, so this isnt my home Publix. The layout is different from my store, but the employees were every bit as friendly and helpful. I was greeted all through the deli, bakery and other aisles. I had a lovely cashier, too. I noticed that other shoppers were greeted as much as I was. I was super impressed! Of course, the number and variety of items equalled those I see at any Publix, and prices were good. I didnt need much, and didnt want anything that wouldnt travel well, but I would look forward to shopping there again!

Comment: This is a great public in Vilano Beach. This being the only grocery store in Vilano the area would be in trouble without it. An essential place and the first spot people try going when they need something. Yes this Publix is smaller then many. It might not have specific items but they always have well stocked shelves. I do often feel like Im the only non-tourist in the store. This store is so much closer than any other store it really makes it difficult to go elsewhere. We get the fruit from here everytime and fruit in general is a hit or miss. The staff is always very friendly as I have ran into most of them a few times now.

She even went all the way to produce to get the tofu from my sandwich when a lot of times if they don’t have it back there, it always seems like they don’t want to go out of their way. We had our towels and wet bathing suits because we came from the beach. He got up in our personal space and stood right by our car while we were getting ready to go into Publix. This experience makes me never want to come back to this Publix. I’ll go to a different store.

Comment: This Vilano Publix is a little smaller than most, and they def cater to the tourist/beach crowd. Try not to go here on a Saturday, thats when a lot of people check into their beach rental and they come here to shop for the week. It can get a bit hectic then. Overall, like most Publix, the customer service is excellent. Lots of beach stuff, ie, umbrellas, chairs, towels, tshirts etc. Grab your cart before you go in as they are stored outside. Also, on weekends especially, order your subs and to go food ahead of time as the prepared food area can get kind of crowded, especially on weekends.

Long time ago we, long time residents from Vilano and North Beach needed to drive at list 20 to 25 minutes to North Winn Dixie or other stores located too far away to buy our groceries or emergency items. Now, no problem! We have a great store with all we need, including fresh vegetables and fresh fruits. The meat department has all kind of sea food and amasing meats, all fresh. I love my Publix store!

Comment: Love this Publix. However I would avoid getting the Wonder Bread hamburger rolls - particularly when they go on sale. Purchased 2 bags on Sunday (72 hours ago) and found mold on them yesterday. Was hoping it was just one but between yesterday and today 7 out of the 8 rolls have mold on them. Two of the three in the bag have mold. Goinv to throw out the other bag when I get home.

Comment: I L💘VE L💗VE L💖VE MY VILANO PUBLIX! I couldnt ever say enough to to explain how amazing my experience ALWAYS is! The employees in EVERY DEPARTMENT are absolutely over the top genuinely nice (not fake nice because its their job and they gotta)! The only thing that Im even remotely unhappy about isnt even because of any employee at that store. Its that they never went back to closing at 10:00pm like every other store at the beginning of the covid pandemic. They are still closing at 9:00pm instead and as far as they know are never going back😰

Very very friendly staff and managers are so helpful in getting what you may need thsts not in their store. The people who work there are generally very cheerful and always glad to be helpful. This particular Publix has all the regular grocery store items plus stuff you would use at the beach like beach towels and beachwear and blow-up toys and surf foam boards and pool noodles. Very convenient to the beach. A fun store with plenty of parking.
