Comment: I order ahead through the deli all of the time at various Publix locations as I travel all over and I would say about 60% of the time my order is ready on time and correct. I have ordered subs, deli meat, or cheese from this location multiple times (3 or 4 now) and twice they have called me to let me know they were out of something I ordered (which is no big deal, it happens) and to confirm a substitution. Not only that, but every single time I have ordered ahead here, it was ready on time and accurate. With most Publix stores being somewhat the same, the only thing that can set them apart is their customer service and this location has nailed it with me every time. Highly recommend.

I hadnt ordered a smash cake because I couldnt figure out how, so I was just going to give him a piece of this cake. Well when we picked it up, a smash cake has been included. So the baker saw the note and took the initiative to include the smash cake. Maybe this is standard practice but either way that is totally awesome and was SO appreciated and totally made a little one year olds day! I recently moved from a big city where I dreaded going to the grocery store. Its things like this that make me love going to Publix, this one especially.

Comment: Its Publix. They have a wide selection of foods, helpful and friendly employees, and decent prices, especially if you shop their specials. They pretty much always have plenty of checkout lines open, too. I wouldnt mind a slightly larger selection of cheeses (like brick cheese, for instance), and they have a lot more wines than I care about. The produce is also well tended.

Comment: Ordered our wedding cake from here. They delivered it for us. They were on time and courteous. They did make a mistake on the flavor of the cake, but we got a partial refund allowance. The taste of the cake itself was just okay (Like most of publixs cake). The frosting is delicious. The cake itself was gorgeous. We brought them our own flowers to decorate it with. The price of the cake was the best we found.

Comment: This is absolutely the best Publix store in Tallahassee. My regular Publix (Oak Valley) has been out of items since the beginning of March. Never restocking. The Village Square location is always fully stocked. They always have everything that I need. The employees are some of the nicest people; super friendly and they always have a smile on their faces. I drive all the way from Havana just to shop at this location. They keep the shopping carts clean and sanitized which is a plus given our current situation. Thank you all! You rock!

Comment: This Publix is awesome! Much larger than most, has the Aprons cooking school as well. I love how there is a huge area of cooking supplies/utensils and an International food aisle that has a neat selection of goodies you dont come across everywhere. Every section (Produce, Meats, Deli etc) is bigger and better. The store itself is clean and well organized. There are also 2 checkouts as you exit on one side, by the Deli making it easier to grab food to go and get out the door. Nice little eating area to enjoy your food too.

I was looking for a certain green drink, and even though I couldnt remember the name of it, Bobby went out of his way to help me find it. He told me that I may be able to special order it, if they didnt have it in stock. He is very knowledgeable about these drinks, and shared his knowledge with me. Then Brandi came over to help me as well! She had just helped me before in produce. Devin walked by and lended a hand as well. He began my special order, and asked me to call him later when my husband filled me in on the correct name of the green drink. I then bumped into Sean, who has always been helpful to me as well. And he always remembers me, and asks how I have been, with a big smile on his face. A few hours later with the correct name of the product, I rang up Devin. Again, so helpful and professional! I felt like these employees really cared about me and cared that I found that product!

There is always a long line at the deli. At this publix the cash register lines are screwy and not every door is an entrance. Its hard to get a good parking spot too.

Comment: So, its busy right now at Publix, I mean its the most wonderful time of the year. Thanksgiving thru the New Year. The lines are longer... so people are gonna be people. Its usually quick despite the long lines so nice and efficient. The parking lot is full so finding a parking spot is a bit more difficult. Take a deep breath you are about to enter a Publix, Floridas finest grocery store. The vibe is cool. It is a chain grocery store so it is what it is! The employees are awesome except that one guy, but one day he will smile at me. Comment: I had the sweetest customer service experience here this week. My 3-year-old let go of her helium balloon (which was attached to her hair bow) and it floated up to the ceiling. She was utterly heartbroken. Roz from the event planning desk saw the whole thing and took down my information. The next day, the balloon and bow were waiting at the desk for my daughter. It was such a kind gesture, and we won’t forget it!

Comment: Publix on Thomasville Rd has a good pharmacy and excellent main store. The products are fairly easy to find and at affordable prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They carry a nice selection of health foods including fresh organic fruits and vegetables. Their GreenWise brand is a good value for healthy shoppers.We have used the pharmacy several times, its generally convenient and organized. At certain busy times the parking can be stressful, so I like to park around the side by the pharmacy. When its busy, it can be a bit hectic navigating the store around other customers, but overall its usually pretty smooth. Otherwise we enjoy having a good grocery store nearby.

If I ask where an item is located in the story, that employee walks me to the product no mater where in the store it is located. Comment: I recently ordered my daughters doctoral graduation cake from this Publixs location. I wanted a cake that would make a Statement, and thanks to Audrey and Linda....they made it HAPPEN! The pharmacys art work were professionally created...I wanted fondant icing with special details... Aubrey was so patient and helpful. I arrived a little early for pick-up, because I had so many earns to run, and Linda didnt want to rush the decorators, so they delivered my daughters cake to restaurant...!
