Comment: I love Publix for the most part, though their employees working the stores are not quite as willing to help you find things as they used to be. Also, prices are getting very high, but that is just a sign of the times, not Publixs fault. Publix has a good supply of what you want most of the time. Normally, their people are helpful and polite as well. I will always shop at Publix over Walmart.

Comment: Update 02/06/24: Because I was across the street, I went into this Publix. For the first time in years, there were enough checkout lanes open, so there werent any long lines. Ill visit when convenient to determine if yesterday was a fluke.Worst Publix for checkout! For years, consistently has long checkout lines. Today, there were 15 or more people waiting to check out. I dont recall how many months it has been since I saw an Express lane open. I had four items. I will never drive to this Publix location again.

Comment: I love the store. We always shop there. A suggestion with the balloon area: customer service should be in charge. They can see the area, they are close toIt. It doesnt take much time. Yesterday I went to buy a balloon, I had to wait untilSomeone (Im guessing from kitchen) comes all the way for one balloon. While the two people in customer service were having a conversation with no one to assist 🤔 Why pull someone busy that is not even close, instead of someone just right there? And she didnt address to me properly when I moved from the area trying to go and ask someone else 🙂 If you have a balloon area, you should plan accordingly to take care of it 🤷‍♀️😊

I have never received directions on how to find an item,,,46 years old and have been shopping at Publix for literally decades. However, for ZHills, this is one of the nicest stores in this town... Everythings almost perfect on every aisle... They say bye to u when u leave... I love food customer service & will pay more for it cuz idc about the discount bail from that other store access the street that has the W Im its name... This Publix aint Whole Foods, but comes pretty close... My family has been in this area for around 30 years & the old Publix was a lot different than this one, but I still got good customer service... My Dad worked for Publix back in the 50s or 60s or whatever... My grandparents went to Publix... My Mom took me & my brother to Publix back in the 80s & 90s... My kids go to Publix with MaMa now... My daughter works at Publix now... Ik what Publix is all about & again this Publix is really nice for this area!!! 😍❤️🦩🛒

Comment: How cute is this Publix, looking like a castle, 1st time to Publix in East Pasco, Zephyrhills, FL. every other one been to has either been in West Pasco or Tampa, was very clean, & looked very nice in all the different departments, unfortunately there was an incident what we all run into everywhere you turn now-a-days & 2 struggling people were outside establishment trying to get their fix not even 5 feet from entrance due to publix having table & chairs available right outside, but management took care of it immediately no questions, no judgment & absolutely not trying to get anyone hemmed up with the law, just dont need it Right in front of the door where a family maybe walking in with young children or god forbid something blows in the wind & a child gets hit with the stuff & is now in a full on attack on their life. Thank you for asking them to leave as discreetly as u did.

The gentleman there was sweet as well but he was tending to another customer. They made him feel independent and heard. He was upset to find out he couldn’t tip them but he understands and respects the policy. As I was checking out he couldn’t contain himself and went and found a manager (Vanessa, I believe he told me when he came back), he wanted Publix to know what a great job they’re doing. Comment: Most of employees provide excellent customer service. Exception is : two cashiers are very grumpy . They are close to their retirement age, and you can guess they are tired, but nobody makes them to work in Publix with great benefits. If they want to be rude, maybe should working in Walmart (nobody will complain there)

Comment: I like Publix. Their store is kept very nice, clean and in order. The product on the shelf looks great and organized. The produce, deli, meat, and dairy are so nice, you know just by looking at it that the contents are safe and well cared for. The employees are very nice and well-groomed. You can tell they take pride in their job. Even though it is such a wonderful place to shop, the cost of items is a little high.

Comment: We have 3 within a 25ish mile radius. This is by far the best. Deli slicers are very friendly AND fast. Bakery cant be beat. I wont buy produce anywhere else. I guess we all feel that way about our own Publix. We are not wrong!

We visited 3 different grocery stores in Zephyrhills during our visit & Publix was a bit more expensive than the other 1 (2 were Publix stores). They did have a bit more variety than the other chain did but not by much.I did like that they escorted the older or handicapped/disabled customers from the check out area to their vehicles & helped them w put their bags in their cars & then returned the cart or scooter item back to the store for them so they didnt need to.

Comment: Had to get dessert for dinner. Anything I could bring would be good, but, our friend is a Chocolate Freak, which applies to us as well. Decided to check Publix in our new neighborhood. Great decision, saw 2 Artisan cakes in the bakery, a large Death by Chocolate with that special frosting, ganache (sp?) style, and a smaller dark chocolate fudge cake. Well, we decided on the smaller cake. It was the best choice as she loved it!!!! Goes to show you can always trust the Publix bakery!

One of the few stores that carries tasty alcohol free wines and beers (for anyone like me who enjoys the flavor but not the inebriating effect and damage to the immune system from the real thing). Yummy!! 😋Now come with me as I move on over to their produce section, LOL!! 😆 They have the best selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and I absolutely love the bagged salad kits because when Im busy running around getting stuff done, I dont have time to waste with cutting, slicing or chopping different lettuce 🥬and stuff, all I have to do is open bag, rinse and add dressing!! Wala!! Salad 🥗 is ready!! 😊 I also love their BOGO DAYS!! 😊The reasons why I gave them 5 stars you ask? LOL! 😂 I based my rating on the stores cleanness, ie: the bathrooms, shelves, parking lot area etc., availability of working handicap scooters, employees friendliness, greeting customers, employees knowledge of products locations, their willingness to help you find whatever you need. And most importantly how the employee at the front Customer Service Counter greets/helps customers, how the employee handles returns, problem solving, assisting with check outs, and offering special product orders. These are the things that matter to me the most, and Im happy to say that my Zephyrhills Publix Store passes all the above with fling colors!! Bravo!! 👏🙂👏🙂PS: FYI Publix is a great company to work for. They offer on the job training, good benefits, good starting pay rates and if you excell at your position and are willing to learn you can quickly move up within the company!!YAY! 5 stars ⭐ and 2 thumbs 👍up!! 💝

Comment: Trader Joe’s doesn’t even attempt to source organic oranges. I’d be surprised if Fresh Market has any and both Whole Foods and Sprouts are telling me than have been out for a few weeks and could be out for a few more weeks or months. What’s completely mind boggling insane is that this is Florida!!! Some of these stores are telling me they have to import from Mexico and Peru. I’m all about supporting the third world and fair trade.For Pete’s Sake I wish more real food that hasn’t been saturated with harmful chemicals designed to kill insects (but is somehow safe for us) was readily available in the U.S. Thanks for doing you part to hold it down Publix. Much appreciated. I encouraged to keep sourcing for more organic options. I promise their is a strong consumer demand for this, especially one a store gains a good reputation for having such things.

If never been to Publix you should try it because you will probably stop shopping at your old grocery store and start shopping there. They also have a pharmacy so you can have one stop shop with them. You can get your medicine and food in one place which makes life easier only having to go one place for all your food and pharmacy needs.

Comment: The seafood department is excellent! What makes it so good was the way my shrimp was handled, steamed shrimp if its not iced down will over cook and be ruined. The folks there realize a $20 plus dollar purchase should be handled with the care needed to make dinner an event rather just something to eat. The difference here is the service!

Comment: The store was well organized, stocked and very clean. The aisles were marked as one way and wrong way and the shoppers followed the signs. Most all of the shoppers were wearing masks and followed the social distancing guidelines. So much more enjoyable than shopping at other stores.

Great prices (BOGO, etc.) and as always the best selection-especially on fruits & veggies Side note to illustrate staffs awesomeness: It was raining very hard as I was walking out to take groceries to my car with my 9yr old son in tow. The staff went out of their way to help me! They even gave me an umbrella to get to my car. I sure appreciated that. Trust me, you wont get this kind of treatment at most places. Thank you guys!!
