Comment: This store is always perfect. Staff is friendly and the selection is great. The store is small and gets very crowded during rush hours. Deli is well stocked and great produce. The BOGO deals are amazing. Easy to access if youre on the Riverwalk and need something. Store doesnt have a liquor store or pharmacy. Great place to get supplies or snacks before an outdoor event downtown.

Comment: Clean, very nicely laid out. Ties are easy to navigate. Beautiful fresh flowers and plants, birthday bouquets and balloons. Nice deli, pleasant service. Eating cafe seating outside. Right off of the beautiful downtown area and near the water. The parking is a little hard to exit but otherwise wheelchair friendly.

Comment: I have to say I have been to publix in different states I use to live down the street from Southgate shopping center Bayshore blvd Publix is the best publix I have ever had the privilege of shopping at the ladies at the bakery are awesome some of the best people on the planet they make desserts to die for. And check out my pics they have buggies for kids. I saw a mom and her son shopping and he was getting his own groceries I was blown away Publix please never change forever a Publix shopper.

They always have everything I need. They always have all the offbrand that I need. They are always so very pleasant. I’m glad to have a Publix supercenter by my house. I just moved from Pinellas so it’s nice With a sub or some of your fried chicken Publix Publix is where the little parties turn into big parties and everybody loves Publix tray. Nobody wants to miss one of those. It’s like a Chick-fil-A nugget nugget. Thank you very much spicy Italian. They are delicious.🤤

Comment: Having an elderly parent in the hospital and not being able to be there for them due to illness yourself or being out of town is very difficult. Having a hard time finding a florist open on Sunday to deliver some sunflowers and a little something to lift my Dad’s spirits was even more difficult. Well, that was until I spoke with Store Manager, Chad McDonald, who told me he knew exactly how I felt because he had lost his Dad a short time ago. He asked what I had in mind and went quickly to work putting his magic into motion. I asked him how much I owed him and he said, “This is on us!”. The flood gates opened at that point because this was totally unexpected, legendary, caught-me-off-guard, over the top customer service. I later received a phone call from the Customer Service Manager, Miguel Quintana, who was making the delivery to my Dad at Tampa General Hospital. He was so kind and assured me that he’d be getting there shortly and let me know that he’d get back to me once it was delivered. The flowers, balloons, Publix Granola Bars and candy were delivered and Daddy was all smiles. These two gentlemen and the staff that helped them carry it out should be commended. There’s still good, kind and amazing people in this world and today I found them from 75 miles away at the Publix on Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa. I feel so blessed today from these folks who made my family—their family.

Comment: As a passing tourist, I ducked in to check out vegetarian options in the deli.Pleasant surprise to notice Spicy Falafel as a Speciality Sub.Now, the service person, Anthony, had neither heard of nor created such a sub before.But hats off to his attitude, he winged through the process with a 30 second brief from his supervisor.Having decimated the three 3 falafels into 6 pieces each, so that they dont slip off the bread, he proceeded to diligently spread hummus on the one side of the bread and add veggies and condiments one layer at a time, with LOVE & CAREWish Id take a video of it

I went to the deli, to asking someone in the aisle to look for chips, then dropped my package here comes another employee helping me bringing me a basket. Then finally the register.. the baggage guy and the check out lady super nice!!! Kudos to the store manager and its staff. Not only is the store clean but you guys it it..good customer service!!

This particular location was conveniently located to walk from the downtown Convention Center, Embassy Suites, Marriott hotels, etc. The staff were particularly friendly and kind during our checkout. If you have not been to this location before, be prepared because it is not laid out like any other location I have been to. The building is odd shaped so they had to change their normal layout. Comment: I was looking for a countertop Christmas tree. Went to 3 other Publix locations but was unsuccessful. The Kennedy & West Shore location had a couple left but they werent in good condition so I passed. I thought I would try the Bayshore location, its not the location that normally shop at but desperate times calls for desperate measures. In other words, my hubby didnt get the tree on time! I didnt see any on the outside so entered store and asked a young man if they had any left. He stated that they had a couple left, and that Publix was giving them away for nothing. The young man was so courteous and the last two Christmas 🎄 were in excellent shape, someone took the time to water and shield from the sun. Thank you for your generosity( saved me $33 plus tax) and kudos to the employee who helped me.

Comment: Publix is always a nice place to shop. This one has a slight drawback due to its parking lot and the fact its in an area that has multiple one way streets. I drive a big truck, so turning in from a one-way street while a car is trying to exit on the same street makes for a VERY tight fit into the drive and a tight turn down the parking isle. Other than that its the same Publix structure that we know and love.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the butcher and seafood departments are very knowledgeable and more than willing to help and make custom cuts and orders. The store even being a smaller store has an extremely efficient check out crew moving people quickly and has very little wait at checkout. Items AR neatly organized on the shelves and the store is very clean. The deli section has excellent sandwiches and hot food. The bakery is definitely First Rate. The only issue is that during peak hours parking can be a little difficult. Overall an excellent Publix.

Erika was stocking shelves and stopped to take me to the correct aisles and showed me the items. A lot of grocery store.employees will just say, The item is located on Aisle 5. and go back to what they were doing. Erika went above and beyond. I needed help with a few items and she was extraordinary. The store was extremely busy as it was lunchtime. I really appreciate all the help she provided.In addition, I ordered 3 whole subs after waiting 15.mins in line at the Deli. The sandwich maker, Nicole was fast, efficient, and did the required suggestive selling. As l was heading to check out, l ran into Erika again and she saw that l was looking for medium cups for the fountain drinks. There were none, so AGAIN she stopped what she was doing to go in the back to see if there were medium drink cups!! I felt like l was at Erikas home the way she treated me like a VIP guest. She has exceptional customer service skills, a beautiful smile and was very helpful. Thank you for an awesome, friendly, and wonderful shopping experience. Comment: I cant say enough about Scott (the manager at Publix). Our organization ordered for pickup in Instacart online as we were cooking for the Ronald Mcdonald house charities. We picked up the food and got to the RMH to find out that our chicken wasnt substituted pound for pound (and we wouldnt have enough to cook for the RMH families). I called Publix and Scott (without a moments hesitation) personally delivered the rest of the chicken we had ordered to the Ronald McDonald house. Quick solution with a smile. Thank you Scott for making our experience a great one!

Comment: One of my favorite things to do while on vacation is check out the local grocery store. I was delighted when my shuttle driver, without prompting, started going off about the deli subs. Obviously, I had to get one. Full sub on sale for 6 bucks. You should have seen the locals going crazy for this thing! (I can get ANY SUB?! THE WHOLE THING?!) in the 20 minutes I was there (yes, the line was that long, and completely worth it) I saw no fewer than 6 dudes just about sh#& their pants thinking it was the best day of their lives.Solid grocery store. Clean, great selection including organic and healthy choices. Fresh produce, over the top deli, and a never ending bakery. I went back two more times in the 5 days I was nearby (had to try all the popular subs, including the off menu ones)

I realize its a downtown grocery and it comes with the territory... Then at check out i have a huge two buggie order and Trish smiled the whole time was friendly and helpful with my request to bag certain items in by themselves she was above and beyond had two great guys come to help one was named Troy the other Oviedo they was so kind and helpful had three buggies leaving and they pushed my buggies out for me and helped load into car the whole team was outstanding and really made my night. These people all went above and beyond customer service expectations and I am super picky so for me to say it they need raises. They all handled themselves professionally and efficiently they were super courteous and kind with smiles. Thank you again will be shopping here on a regular basis due to your amazing employees.
