The meat department has helped me with a special cut, the bakery with special order cakes, Fred in produce is always helping everyone and super friendly, and Shawn is a valuable asset to this team. All Publixes are great, but this is my favorite!

Comment: Be patient when ordering from the deli, sandwiches, or hot food stands. Theres usually a line during lunch time and, in my opinion its because the quality is very good. The staff is super friendly and even though theres a line they dont look flustered and they dont rush you. They take care of each customer with individual attention and friendly disposition. Staff at self checkout is very helpful if you need them and let you be if you dont.

They wear plastic gloves and a male even changed his gloves one time with no change in his demeanor or attitude. Thanks Publix. Good beef ribs. Comment: I want to give a BIG SHOUTOUT TO THE BAKERY. They help me with my order and made sure I knew to pay before time in order to get the cake made. I came in the day before and change it from the “Rainbow Celebration” to “Vanilla Wonderland” and they didn’t give me any problems about that.The staff name John and Misty took care of me, he allowed me to change it and she answer the phone the day off when I called to triple check everything and the notes.Rachel did a wonderful taking my order and making sure all my details I want on my ticket and she also recommended the Vanilla Wonderland but I pick the opposite at first, My mom love cream cheese so thank you so much. Thank you to the baker Asia. Everything taste so good. Everything looked good.All I did was add the strawberries and cupcake and candles.

Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful.The ATM was out of cash, and a helpful associate looked up the nearest Publix, verified the ATM was in working order, and gave us directions. The cashier and person who bagged our order were friendly, smiling, and shared a funny experience. Another employee checked the restroom for cleanliness, and let me out. I had been trapped in the restroom for several minutes because after washing my hands, there was no way to exit the restroom without touching the handle to pull the door inward, hence contaminating my clean hands to exit as there were now paper towels or foothold to facilitate a sanitary egress. Do the workers have a separate restroom with means of a sanitary exit, or is the entire premise subject to fomite contamination?

Comment: While its a local Publix in a smaller neighborhood, it does have a rocking fish display-- sushi made earlier, fresh oysters a dollar each (Im going to wait until later in this season); and they have an expanded produce section with an equally sized wine selection. Publix is stepping up their game to meet the price of rent. Good thing though because theres an Aldi coming to the corner of Nebraska and MLK. Sound competition, bigger footprint, easy parking, and the same nimby pedestrian vibe.

Today I visited there and while standing in line approached an individual and asked this (pop question) and sure enough I was able to get one and enjoyed it . You all have to try it.The only thing I could say is that the menu was hard to read due to the header that was front covered by the sign and needs more visibility forth going or the menu sign in front of the above header while other approaches.

Comment: I was making a return with a receipt that was digital because I belong to the Publix Club and I paid cash and it said it on my receipt and the customer service representative gave me a hard time. Do the people who work at customer service not understand how it works. When I buy something I put my phone # in the key pad and then I pay with cash or credit I do not receive a paper receipt. It goes on the app to my phone. It tells you on the receipt how I pay and they try to give me a gift card. What is wrong with the system and the customer service. Get this fixed. People buy the wrong item or brand occasionally.

Comment: This neighborhood Publix is great. Its an icon here, really. Even though it lacks space, they try and accommodate everyone (They recently added self checkout kiosks by the front entrance, which makes for faster checkouts. They also reorganized the fruits and vegetables aisles along with a better pastry showcase). The staff has always been nice and helpful. If they dont carry an item youre looking for, you can always ask management if they can get it or maybe carry it in the future. They keep adding new items to the selection. Newer brands keep popping up on the shelves. The only bad point is the parking. The parking lot can fill up fast since theres limited space.

Comment: It’s a rather small store for a Publix, but it’s not bad. Usually quite busy in there. I generally prefer the Publix on Hillsborough as it’s a bigger store. But this retro looking store in Seminole Heights is pretty good. No pharmacy.

Comment: I love the nostalgia of this store. It still has the original look. Although the store is smaller than the Publix stores of today, it still manages to offer a good selection. They also manage to keep the store clean, what a challenge that must be for the age of the building; but its very clean. The hot deli counter is well staffed and serves all the regular Publix delicious foods I enjoy and is expected of Publix.

Comment: Its Publix so its still got the Publix quality of everything and its employees but this is the busiest Publix I have ever seen! BUT its my neighborhood one so I go but they never ever have my jalapeno dip ever and the last two times there was 0 parking so we had to park on the street in the neighborhood near it. So please make more jalapeno popper dip and I dont mind walking a block to your store. :)

Comment: I went to this Publix on 10/19/22 at 6pm to get some chicken from the deli. They were extremely and were serving ppl the best & fastest they could. They ran out if chicken and a woman behind me started yelling at the hard workers. She even went as far to say she was going to complain on the woman that was serving food named Ms.Erika calling her racist & all. WELL shes a lie Erika was very nice to everyone in that line no matter their race.

Problem is theres more shoppers nowadays than parking spaces and the quality of customer has degraded as well. I really like this store I just hate what it is becoming. This is a roast beef wrap I recently picked up using the app to pay. It was awesome and ready when I got there but man, 4 trips around the parking lot before a space opened up and theres no room to expand. Always fresh food, always smiling and helpful employees..

Comment: This is probably the smallest Publix location I’ve been to, and it can get pretty crowded, but they do an amazing job with what they have. Very nice employees and I usually can find whatever I’m looking for. Note that the chicken and hot food area is almost always busy and they frequently run out of items, but this shouldn’t shock anyone when you consider the size of their kitchen and prep areas. Just try to go during non-peak hours and be patient. Ordering subs/wraps online is a great way to avoid the line.

Second of all, while I have always had a soft spot for Publix Bakery concoctions, Im writing this review solely because of how impressed my family and I were with the Strawberry Dulce De Leche cake. I picked it up for Fathers Day, and it didnt disappoint. My Dad, brother, and I were pleasantly surprised, and my husband deemed it the best Publix cake hes had. As always, nice work, Publix.

The prices are great when you find a sale, either discounts or BOGO. However, the regular prices can be high, and some of the bakery items, which all used to be delicious, sometimes seem to be less flavorful. I still love Publix and will continue to shop here!

Comment: For the pass yr I havent been in this store because its kinda out of the way for me but I had to stop there to get some pills for my migraine coming from work and trust me I was very impressed with the new look of the store. Its way brighter than Ive seen before, the shelves are nicely packed, the staff was looking fresh, the only downside for me was the fact that the self check out wasnt up and running and only one cashier working but another cashier quickly jumped in when she couldnt get the self check out running and open another line getting customers moving.

Some people wear masks - others do not bother. There is no such thing as social distancing there because the aisles are too narrow. Still our favorite place for a quick shop. Comment: Always BETTER than Wal-Mart. Lines seemed to be building... customers in line were looking a little frustrated and then BAM here comes Crystal to save the day. Because I shop here so often I just stood back, before she came, and waited. And within less than a minute the wait was over. Like clock work. Publix takes care of their customers, and theyre genuine about it. They are human like everyone else, so they will have a bad day. But over all its always worth traveling a little further when you know your shopping experience will be quicker and youll be treated with dignity. Thanks Publix, where shopping is definitely a pleasure. And recently they installed these new self check out lanes... Oh Yeah!

Sometimes it is quite crowded and very busy.The associates here are nothing less than top notch.Today, the day before Thanksgiving, they were so very busy. I was waiting in line to check out. The elderly woman in front of me was searching her purse for a few more dollarsShe came up short. At this point the cashier Ty-Anna reached into her pocket and quietly said Dont worry, I have $5.00. She paid the remaining balance for the woman.I was touched by her small act of kindness. I hope Publix recognizes this young lady and all their awesome crew.

Comment: Where shopping really is a pleasure. Each staff member greet shoppers with a genuine smile and truest effort to inquire if they can be of assistance. I have been shopping here since it was the original old Publix store. (It was closed for a time for remodel & reopened in 1995) I enjoy the service as much as the quality of the products. Which in my opinion are very high quality. I only shop at Publix. Its always clean, and many employees have worked until retirement right in this store. In this day and age, that says a lot.

As a person who has previously worked in customer service, the objective is to provide exceptional service to the customers. A smile goes a long way. Speaking goes a long way. I frequently order event food for my job & I am never been disappointed by its quality & its always ready on time.I like the fact that the store is smaller. They have a nice selection & its not a hike to find it. The store is immaculate & I have never even seen any trash in the parking lot. It seems well managed. And its really cute!
