I didnt catch the names of the other two staff members making subs, but they ALSO need a raise because there was a line and they were all cranking out subs as fast as possible with the best care and attitudes anyone could have late on a Friday night. Coldcuts/ cheese is handled professional with paper in between cheese slices. The store us clean and well stocked.The bakery has apparently a few minor issues with employees that are neither friendly or helpful.Produce and meat department are awesome, knowledgeable, willing to help and to answer questions about produce and make special cuts for Mears. I really appreciate that.I live closer to the other Publix, but Im willing to drive to this one. To me it is important to receive good service.

You said youd made it fresh that morning. I said Id love to have it but dont need something that big. You came around and grabbed the 4 count mini tarts and handed them to me. They were delicious! I ate two of them immediately upon getting back to my car. They were the perfect pick-me-up that I needed after work. The other two I saved to reward myself after helping my son with his summer reading assignment. Your customer service deserved accolades so I truly hope you see this. This older gentleman has white hair, he was working behind tha parfait counter. He helped me find out how many carbs were in the parfait & then stood & talked w/ me for a few minutes. Were moving, but i plan to stop back in just to check on him & his wife. There was a young girl in the baker who checked to see if they had a cake that they havent had in a while & they found 1! The check out girl was great too. Put the groceries right into my buggy for me. Overall great store! Clean, friendly, helpful staff. Thank you for making my grocery trip worth it today.I came back to let you know that i stopped in 4x before we moved to come check in on you, but i never caught you. I hope your wife is doing better. Comment: Very friendly staff and nice clean and new store (maybe not brand new, but possibly renovated).I recently moved across town and you get used to the layout of your grocery store and people begin to know your face, if not your name. So changing stores is a big deal and I thought I would not enjoy this location, but that is far from the truth. They staff is so kind and helpful and the pharmacy team has helped transfer those pesky prescriptions without a problem. I rarely find out of stock items and the dairy free and gluten free items I need for my daughters are all here.It is still going to take a little while to find where everything is located.

Good Deli and Bakery with friendly staff.Im a Disabled Vietnam Veteran with Mobility & Breathing Issues that make walking long distances a problem! My only two complaints are they redux ed the number of carts for disabled & they took away several handicapped spaces at front of store and put in Pick Up Spots which eliminated 6 much needed handicapped spaces right at front door! Now find it difficult to find a Handicapped Space when I come to this Publix! Knowing this Ive been limiting my stops to this Publix.

Comment: Always clean inside & out. The people friendly & helpful. Well stocked and the lines move fast. The only drawback is waiting for hot food. Many times you have to wait 30+ mins for it to cook. Its not a fast food place but theres a food warmer that is usually almost empty.

Comment: Love Publix my pocket feels we can do without them but i find myself going into a Publix a few times a week primarily for prepared foods and Body Armor, but also for their house lemonade.Their baked goods look absolutely decadent but I know if I start with that my teeth will just fall out so I just look and appreciate from a distance.Their customer service is beyond excellent it is almost perfect at every store around town. I dont know how they picked and train their people but they clearly know what theyre doing.The people of Publix remind me of the people at Chick-fil-A just good people enjoying themselves as the perorm/execute excellence serving you.

Comment: Publix is always clean and organized. You can get good prices there if you get Publix brand or use coupons. Their meat department will custom butcher for you if you ask. They are always very accommodating, and if you need cuts of meat that arent popular, just ask and theyll let you know when its in.

Comment: This store is almost always clean, well stocked, and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful, as is the case with most Publix stores. I only gave four stars for this visit because they only had one person handling both the hot food and the sandwich counter. I had only one woman ahead of me but she ordered a lot of both hot meals and custom sandwiches. I ended up having to wait TWENTY MINUTES to place my order. It is highly unusual that someone else didnt come over to help the poor woman overwhelmed back there.

Comment: Hello, I just visited the Merrill road location this evening with my husband. I want to say first I had the BEST experience at this Publix and I will be coming back. We had a wonderful deli sub maker named Cassi. She was amazing and very helpful. She went above and beyond for us and for that we will come back everytime ! Comment: A good grocery store overall, but it seems they are a bit understaffed during the pandemic, as checkout lines are often quite long, with only a few registers open. It was the same case last time we got subs - it took nearly 30 minutes and there were only 4 people in front of us. But tell you what - the sub was awesome!

Comment: First time ordering an original birthday cake from this bakery, and I am not disappointed at all! Despite having to be careful with verbiage on the cake due to copyright issues, they did an amazing job in my 8 year olds vision for five nights at Freddys cake. They did the basic non copy written design and I bought figurines from amazon. It was a huge hit at the party! The cupcakes also turned out really good!

Comment: This Publix is backwards from many of the other local shops and it catches me every single time. Truly a creature of habit; if youre looking for produce head left not right and the beer is towards the center of the store.That said, this is my preferred deli location! Great staff, great selection. They definitely need another person or two behind the counter, but long lines for the Pub Subs are common no matter the location!

I called a Publix closer to me for a birthday cake for the next day, and was told it was not possible until hours after the time the cake was needed, and was not told very nicely. I called this Publix on Merril and Amber answered. She was fantastic, she even apologized for the bakery at the other location. She told me she could definitely have the cake ready and guaranteed it for hours before the birthday cake is needed. Thank you Amber for your kindness and for making my day better!!

Comment: As I was walking in an employee in the parking lot offered to get a cart for me. Before I decided to ask for help finding something another employee walked up and asked of they could help. The cashier joked with my girls and gave them coloring books and crayons. I love great service and am willing to pay a reasonable premium for it.

Comment: Love the bakery, and all the employees I have dealt with have been courteous and helpful. I find the prices a little high, but the bogo items make up for it. I just wish you could get 1 at half price instead of having to get 2 to save.
