Comment: GREAT BBQ! Miss Mae and the others are warm and friendly, as you expect in the REAL South. Homemade sides make it hard to choose just one (so dont--order 2!) and the OMG cake is delish. Atmosphere is funky but dont let that stop you.

Comment: I needed flowers delivered on the same day to a family member in the hospital. When I called, I spoke with (owner?) & she was so sweet. She was so understanding of the situation & made a beautiful piece to deliver within 2 hours. Would definitely recommend, they were lovely & a pleasure to work with. Truly great people

Comment: This place is amazing. Mrs. May is fabulous and just a hoot to talk to.She is a hugger and Sissy. If she offers you a sample you better take it. My wife picked this place to go to lunch and it didnt disappoint. We enjoyed everything about it. The service was that of going home to moms house. The portions were large. The flavor of the food was delicious. There are so many wonderful things to say, but Ill leave it up to you to see for yourself.I 💯 recommend this place.

Comment: This is authentic southern BBQ, skip the chain restaurants in the area. Nice sized portions and fantastic prices. Very homey and comfortable atmosphere. I have been looking for a local restaurant like this everytime I visit and I definitely will be returning. The staff and regulars made us all feel like they have known us for years. 5 stars plus.

Comment: This is one of my favorite restaurant experiences EVER. It starts with Miss May who is absolutely charming and sweet. She is 84 years young and serves and cooks. The coleslaw was the best I have ever tasted. The whole meal was perfect. The sauces were all homemade and unique. I would buy all of them if I was not flying. I am so happy to have been able to find and experience this place.

Comment: Found this restaurant on our last night here. Wish would have found it sooner. We went on Friday for dinner. Call ahead for reservations. On Friday night they serve only chicken or ribeye steak for dinner. I had the ribeye, salad and a baked potato. The ranch dressing was homemade, as well as the butter. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted incredible. I am from St. Louis and there is a steakhouse called Citizen Kane in Kirkwood Missouri. It truly is who I compare all steakhouses/restaurant with. I gotta say that this steak is just as good, if not better than my home town restaurant. The staff couldnt have been kinder or friendlier. The food was so tasty, I wished I lived closer so I could enjoy it more. If you are looking for a great meal, please give them a try.

Comment: This place is awsome. Their barbecue meat was so flavourful and tender and the young woman who served us was delightful and friendly. Our meals were so substantial we took the surplus home and ate it the next day. I live in England, but next time Im in Davenport I will definitely be back!

I know it was asking alot! But, when I contacted these lovely ladies they agreed to wait for us. I rushed out the door in a flash not easy for someone disabled. I absolutely adore how kind they were to help us and the flowers were exquisite!!!! Love This place. Bless you all💖❤️

Comment: I called and spoke to the young lady that answered the phone about my situation and after placing me on hold for a brief moment, she returned with a solution! My daughter was staying in a resort out of town and turned 30 years old today and I wanted to send her a small bouquet of flowers. Samantha asked how much I had to spend and when I told he she said it was not normally handled in this manner, but she had an arrangement made to fit the budget. They went out of the way to balance everything out to stay in the budget and were as kind and gracious as I could have ever asked a person to be. They even called me after it was delivered! Customer Service was above and beyond awesome! Keep up the great job folks, I see why you are working on your 21st year of business! Job well done!
