Comment: Update! 2/14/24-We ordered a memorial dish garden for a friend/business associate who had just lost his son in a tragic accident. He returned to work and is pressing through. We wanted to express our condolences and appreciation to him and his family. Death doesnt care if its Valentines Day or not! They came through even though they were super Swamped! Even adding the requested sunflower. Thanks again!**********************************************************This is the 2nd time I tried to order from a local florist in my neighborhood, 2nd time they couldnt fulfill, 2nd time they referred me to this shoppe and 2nd time Ive been more than pleased! First time was a small daisy bouquet with a bear and balloon for a virtual baby shower for my 1st grandbaby. This time was a deluxe dish garden for a business associate who tragically lost her brother...not extravagant requests but very important nonetheless...I was told by the other shop that people dont like dish gardens and they dont take care of them so I should just order a bouquet of flowers instead....smh.The recipient came into my office today and she was just thrilled and said, I couldnt believe they were real plants!!! They were just gorgeous! So guess what? There wont be a 3rd time for the other shop. The Plant Shoppe Florist is and will be my go to for flowers in our area! Thank you for your business integrity!

The plant gardens are so beautiful so we got one as a centerpiece. In addition, they gave us a green wreath mold to arrange flowers on. I would definitely recommend this cute little shop if you are in need of a florist.

Comment: I hope this review properly expresses my gratitude and awe at the service I received as well as the amazing arrangement they did on an emergency basis. At the last minute, I realized funeral services were a day earlier than planned. I had already placed my order for the following day but called them at 210pm to explain my mistake. The viewing had started at 2pm. I had no expectation that they could do anything because it was the day before Mothers Day. I could not believe when I got notification that delivery of the arrangement was made at 235pm (20 minutes after calling). Luckily, the viewing was only one block away, which helped tremendously. But it was the staff at The Plant Shoppe that made it happen. I don’t encourage anyone to wait until the last minute but they knew it was an honest error and they saved me. Gratitude forever!!

While other florists directed me to a catalog of pre-arranged bouquets, Betsy was able to completely customize our order and it came out even more beautiful than I could have imagined! I ordered an arrangement for my Moms birthday (last minute, because Im a terrible procrastinator) and man did they come through in a big way! My Mom loves all things plants, and spends her days meticulously caring for her hundreds of unique orchids. So I contacted the shop via email, asking for something that would delight her. She directed me to the most perfect arrangement! Though I ordered it for someone else, I cant even tell you how much this made my day, and even passed that joy to others. All because a talented little florist shop went above and beyond to make my Mom happy. Her arrangement was just as pictured on the website, but seemed even bigger in person. Simply stunning. I wanted to send her some flowers, but since I used to work at a flower shop, I am kind of picky. I love that this shop sends photos of the arrangement before it goes out. But more importantly, we could have not done this without the relentless help, love, and dedication we received from the team of people who helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives.Our wedding ceremony took place under the big oak tree at the Historic Thomas Center in Gainesville, FL. Betsy Gardner at the Plant Shoppe Florist customized our flowers as requested matching our wedding colors of navy blue and gold to beautiful hydrangeas, gardenias, delphiniums, and tulips. Our bouquets were gorgeous! Betsy and her team also hung lanterns from the oak tree and suggested hanging some of our reception bottles with lights in them from the branches, which added significantly to the overall romance of the decor. She made gorgeous gold leaf garlands for our cat stroller (our cats were the ring-bearers!) and for the tables at the reception. Betsy and her team came to the venue early and they not only set up the lanterns, bottles, and flowers, but they also helped our wedding planner decorate the tables at the reception. They went above and beyond and were just great and fairly priced. We highly recommend Betsy and her team at the Plant Shoppe Florist for weddings, special events, and all other flower needs.

My boyfriend went to the shop and he only knows my favorite color and he picked up a bouquet for me. When he came home I was SHOCKED. He legit only told them blue flowers and he came home with this gorgeous bouquet of flowers that had like multiple layers and they were all opened and beautiful. It’s been 3 days now and they still look as beautiful they day I got them. Also, they were so well priced???? The flowers in this arraignment are typically expensive to buy in bulk (lilies, roses, sunflowers) but these were such a good price. I go back now every two weeks to get my fresh flowers. We asked for a fantasy-esque theme, one to make you think of dragons and fairies and magic and she delivered!!! My bouquet was a gorgeous cascade bouquet with violets, lavenders and pinks, and even had crystals woven in. She was amazingly creative in coming up with ideas for each table and executed those ideas perfectly. I received compliments on our wedding decor all night!!! From just a few phone conversations and an inspiration board on Pinterest, you were able to create the most breathtaking flowers I have ever laid my eyes on. Comment: I was hesitant at first to use the Plant Shoppe Florist because I had read a few negative reviews on Google however I am so happy that I went to them for my wedding. Betsy and her staff created all of the flower arrangements at my wedding, I am beyond thrilled with their work. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, my husband and his groomsmen boutineers were fantastic, my bridesmaids bouquets were stunning, I cannot give the Plant Shoppe Florist enough praise. The flowers were all beautiful, the staff was great, and the prices were even more amazing, I truly recommend them for anyone needing any floral arrangements. Thank you Betsy!! :)

Comment: I ended up ordering flowers for my friends birthday the day of... . Id been trying to verify her address, and she had her phone off. I ordered online, and well after 2 pm. Betsy emailed me right back to see when I wanted the adorable arrangement delivered (offering me a choice of container color), and to ask if I wanted to include a gift card (I missed the box). My friend phoned me within the hour to tell me theyd been delivered. Both our days were made!

Comment: I highly recommend using The Plant Shoppe for all occasions, especially for wedding flowers! Betsy was a dream to work with. Finding a good florist for our wedding was definitely the hardest vendor for us to find. We emailed and called so many people and had such a nightmare trying to find somebody. We we on a budget, and needed our florist to help us figure out what would look good keeping that budget in mind. We had one florist tell us that she couldnt help us because we we werent able to spend several thousand on flowers...WHAT?! Anyway, Betsy saved the day for us and from the first call we knew we had finally found the right person for the job. She was very quick and responsive to emails, was so friendly and easy to talk to (unlike a lot of florist we spoke with), and she completely understood our idea for the wedding and went with it without us having to draw out every detail for her. We gave her a color scheme and our vision and trusted her as a professional from there to put the rest in motion, and let me tell you what...she was 100% dead on and everything came out perfect! We got so many compliments on the flowers, from the bridal/ bridesmaid bouquets to the rose petals scattered in the aisle to our centerpieces (which were each individually designed). She made our fairy tale wedding really come to life, and we are so thankful we found her! If you are looking for a florist, you will not go wrong with Betsy at The Plant Shoppe, I promise you that!Thanks again Betsy for everything you did to make our wedding a dream come true for us.
